The Light To Their Darkness
I have no doubt that Stephanie could write about anything & it would be amazingly good, and her direction into the paranormal, with this newest story, shows that to be very true! If you’ve ever wanted a fascinating retelling of Goldilocks & the 3 Bears, then your wait is finally over because this was PERFECTION! While it was a retelling, and you definitely could see the similarities, it still held an originality & uniqueness that Stephanie blended seamlessly into the fairytale. Once I started reading, I was instantly drawn into the story, and the characters solidified my unwavering attention until I finally got to see them get their HEA (which I enjoyed seeing played out over the last few chapters instead of just 1 or 2). I enjoyed the element of danger that was added due to the ongoing rivalry with the wolves, and how that extended to the wolves wanting go get back at the bears by going after Goldie. Goldie was the perfect mate for 3 bears. She craved to give the submission that their dominance craved, and yet she was sassy, strong willed & independent enough to be able to stand up for herself when their animal instincts tried to take over. Although there were definitely times when she was quite thankful for those animal instincts 🍆👀👀👀😈🔥 There was a touch of reality & believability where Goldie’s reactions were concerned, and I loved that she didn’t allow herself to get caught up in the pull of her fated mates…although they were pretty awesome. Hunter was arrogance & intensity personified, but also loyal, protective & ALL alpha. Robert was her comfort zone & her peace. Always mindful of how she was feeling, and making sure she had everything she needed, in all ways. Ethan was laughter & brought a lightness to her heart. He could be serious when needed, but he instinctively helped balance out the rough edges & sharp corners of his brothers’ personalities. And OMG….that little twist at the end, in the form of Goldie’s dreams, was BRILLIANT, and now I need that story too 😂 I’m really hoping that was a hint from Stephanie of something she has waiting for us in the future 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 I truly hope Stephanie will give us LOTS more PNR stories, because this one just pushed all the right buttons for me, and I would love to see more from her now 😉🫣❤️
