If Bauhaus is too decorative for you, may I recommend this book. White on white on white is a bit too stark for me--many of the rooms were too antiseptic for my taste. I like a bit more warmth at home.

Hmmmm... I love interior design and style books, but this one wasn't that great. Not only was the style far too spare and definitely not me, but each picture felt the same. And the writing was stilted. Not my favorite, for sure.
