I felt like I was praying a poem reading this book. I want to know what happened to Bobby and Angelina. I want to visit the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine and pray at before the Altar of Peace and the Eternal Flame from Hiroshima. I empathized with Suzanne in many of her stories, especially when one of her seminary professors told her "Pray as you can, not as you can't.", page 77. I had an Episcopal priest preach that in a homily 30 years ago.

I read a chapter a day as part of my prayer time and would meditate on each chapter.

This book is very inspiring for anyone who wants to understand a bit more about the liturgical calendar, and about the ways in which everyday life can become sacred. The style is often very poetic, but not overdone, and always clear and understandable.
