Well-Written Paranormal Cozy Narrated by Author

I hadn't read or listened to either of the two previous books in this “A Hollow’s Glenn Coven Mystery” series, but happily, I could understand things without becoming confused, as often happens when you start a series after the first books. I'm sure I would have appreciated the relationships between the young and older women (and other secondary characters) in the story better had I started this series at the beginning.

This audiobook is narrated by the author herself! I review a lot of audiobooks, and among my favorites are those actually narrated by the writers themselves. No one knows their story and fully understands its intricacies as well as the authors themselves. Her voice sounds a bit young; you can tell she is not a narrator by trade, but I allow a lot of leeway for authors who have the guts to narrate their own works.

I love how each chapter starts with one of the witch coven’s spells! The author has tailored them somewhat to their respective chapters, something perhaps the witches would use at that time in the story. As many mysteries do, this one starts off with the discovery of a dead body! Soon, a beloved family member of one main character disappears. I won't go into many more plot details, as I believe that mysteries, in particular, are best enjoyed with new eyes. Let's just say that there are elements of the fae realm involved, and we see an excellent mix of generations that help lead to discovery, knowledge, and the strengthening of bonds. If you enjoy a well-written cozy paranormal mystery, you will probably enjoy this book. Like I said at the beginning, while you won't necessarily be confused by the story world if jumping straight to this third book of the series, you will probably enjoy and appreciate it more having read or listened to the first two books of this series. Recommended.

Another delightful addition to the series, with a lead-in to what portents to be another. I can't wait!

This is book 3 of A Hollow's Glenn Coven Mystery and does end in a cliffhanger. This is a murder and disappearance mystery. The coven must solve the mystery before anyone else disappears.

This was such a lovely mystery to read, especially since this year we had a solar eclipse. Mysterious things take place during an eclipse, now add a town full of paranormal activity and you have a story you have to read from beginning to end.
The Hollow's Glenn coven in the town is being blame for the strange disappearances and dead bodies. So, the girls are working hard to figure out what has been going on. Specially with the Lunar New Year is right around the corner.

Really compelling storyline. I was a little confused coming into it since this is the 3rd book of the series and where I started. I'll be going back to the first 2 now.
The story takes place in a small mountain town where witches have their covers. Not everyone in town is a witch, so the witches have to be careful about exposure. Everyone is drinking tea and using different teas for different things. Lots of sweaters and scarves and fireplaces and bonfires. All of my favorite things.
The way the author describes the magic system in this book makes it feel so real and logical.

A magical mystery murder with an array of witchy trouble brewing with vibrant, colorful, quirky and magical characters drawing you in with a plot full of intrigue, secrets, lies, betrayals and misdirection that entices you further keeping you turning intriguing page after exciting page entranced reading from start to finish with out notice of time passing by around you until you've reached the unexpected and climatic conclusion . Autumn and her family have more interesting problems within and out of the town. Missing person and another town encroaching on their town. Interesting story and characters. I enjoyed reading this book.
