She described everything in such a positive way (for the most part) and it makes you feel so awed at the way she views things. Her view on life and mine are so similar but yet so different. Perhaps not a stellar writer, this matters naught when her stories are absorbingly entertaining, poignantly heartbreaking, and heart-warmingly funny. Animal lovers who enjoy listening to someone tell a good story will surely love this. You'll laugh and cry.

If the Cat Fits... Stories of a Vet's Wife

After reading this book with a lit circle, my opinion on the book remains the same as it was when I finished the first chapter; the book is ok. If the Cat Fits… Stories of a Vet’s wife is a collection of Chrystal Sharps stories from veterinary fiascos to personal heartbreaks. You meet not only Chrystal and Dave, her husband, but their plethora of animals. Whippy, Philby, Carrots, Splittie, and others are an important cast of characters that are with Chrystal throughout her story.
