A great collection of festivals, celebrations and relevant crafts, stories, songs, and recipes from a variety of customs and beliefs. Even if you have no religion yourself this is a really interesting introduction to multicultural beliefs.
The book is divided into seasons so it’s interesting to find activities for each month from other countries, such as Chinese new Year Lanterns, Diwali lamps, winter gingerbread people or a Filipino Christmas Star.
Plenty of inspiration for some multicultural crafts and celebrations and some great cultural learning opportunities.
Currently out of print but coming soon as an e-book.
