I was captivated in Chapter 1 and wondered just what could be going on. By Chapter 3, I was still wondering where the story was taking me and found the journey itself fascinating. The author’s descriptions of real places were such that I could almost be there with the changing cast travelling around the West Country and London gradually unravelling the plot.
