"They say the quickest way to get over someone, is to get under someone else" and that is exactly what Norah did. After catching her trifling boyfriend of three years cheating she was ready to let go. And let go she did, right on August's face😏 When August saw her, he immediately knew she was going to be his. The BDE was pouring off of him in waves. He knew she was literally days out of a relationship, but he gave not one fk and refused to let his woman pass him by. He kept showing up, not in a creepy way, but letting her know she was who he wanted to be with. I love a decisive man, and he was that. He was not ashamed to fall first and with abandon and that ish was sexy.
This was a fast paced love story and I was here for it, because when you know...you know.
The epilogue felt rushed and it was repetitive. I also would have loved a little more interaction from his parents.

Undeniable chemistry....
There has not been a book that I have read by Kay Shanee, and she didn't understand the assignment. And this novella is no exception. The minute that August and Norah's eyes met in the club, it was like a moth to a flame. The chemistry was undeniable. The love that formed after that first encounter was a rollercoaster of emotions. It took Norah a little time to get fully on board. However, once she did, she was all in. August was the real, trustworthy, and honorable man she didn't realize she needed in her life. He fell hard for Norah and made sure he kept all of his promises. August was that guy and the total opposite of Zyleel. Zyleel may have been his line brother, but that was as far as their "brotherhood" went, especially when it came to Norah. Zyleel turned over the ball on Norah, but August scored when it came to her.
Mrs. Shanee, you did your thing as usual on this novella. It is most definitely hot and steamy with the perfect title to match the couple. So literary world, grab your copy today. You will be glad that you did.
P.S. Are there any more books that will stem from this one? The twin (Austyn) needs to tell her story. And we can't leave out the other friend Janeevah. "Birds of a feather flock together." I can only imagine the smoke coming from Austyn and Janeevah's relationships.

I had a great time reading this story. The small amount of drama was par for the course, and was needed to give some umph to the story. Let me say, it was hot and steamy.... I really, really liked August and Noah's love story. He ex was no match for a real man like August. Pass-around- Moriah did August and Norah a favor with her openly friendly ways. I loved this short story with a real nice happily for the future ending.

If Kay Shanee doesn’t do anything she’s going to make you fall in love with her male character and the way he is going to put it down. This was spicy ooo but I loved it. Zyleel pissed me off royally. How and wby would you do that to Norah like why? Moriah girl sit your *$$ down before Norah make change with you. I love how Norah’s grandparents just loved them some August. Matured adults be knowing things. Great read.

August brought that pressure
Norah was a woman in a relationship who was devastated when she found her boyfriend in a compromising position. August was a man returning home after being away and he knew what he wanted as soon as he laid eyes on Norah. I wanted to shake Norah while I understood her being cautious, August was bringing nothing but pressure. Kay Shanee never misses!! The length of the book was perfect.

Although the pull and attraction was there, Norah questioned the timing and her ability to make a sound decision when it came to love. August didn’t care about the timing. He knew he was the man for Norah and he was willing to make Norah Cum and Fall in Love ! This was a really fun, sweet, and sexy read!

I enjoyed this novella but I wish it could have been longer and more developed because these characters could have definitely had a full novel for their story. Norah and August were cute together and he made he fall in love shortly after meeting. Norah was not trying to have a relationship but August wore her down. This novella gave me the spice but left me wanting more of this couple because their story felt rushed and I think they deserved a more detailed story so I would rate this book 3.75/5 stars.

August!! Whew! August's energy while pursuing Norah was everything!! He knew he wanted her and was doing everything in his power to get her! I loved when he showed up at her church. Once he got her grandparents in his good graces, it was over! Norah had no choice but realize she needed to give him a chance. Their chemistry was off the charts. This is a must read!

What was supposed to be some “get back” move for two ex’s turns into so much more. See what happens when you drop dead weight and open yourself up to find real love. She who finds a good eater finds a good thing! August said he was coming all gas and no brakes and he meant that. This easy, sexy instalove is a nice quick read. Zy, Moriah and Victoria can kick rocks!
