Vivian finds herself in an unexpected living arrangement with her brother Cam and his three friends, Noah, Tyler, and Asher. As emotions simmer beneath the surface, a little crush threatens to disrupt the delicate balance of their shared pace. Can she navigate the complexities of her feelings and connection with one of her brother’s best friends under wraps?
Honestly, I really enjoyed this book! I was in a reading slump for a while and this book sounded right up my alley and this pulled me right out of it. Twin Flame is an absolute must read! From the moment of the first page I was in it and hooked. The dynamics between Vivian, her brother Cam, Asher, Noah and Tyler are rich and engaging. The forced proximity adds amazing tension that kept me turning pages late into the night. I adored the slow burn romance and the enemies-to-lovers aspect, which felt so authentic and satisfying. The emotional depth of the characters, coupled with the beautifully woven narrative, made for such a great reading experience. This book I couldn’t put down I wanted to see it all the way through. Usually with a slow burn once the characters hook up I’m kinda done reading and it gets boring, but this was not the case. If you're looking for a steamy read this one delivers just the right amount of spice! The sexual tension between Asher and Vivian I mean omg! I do wish though that Tyler had his own book, I don’t wanna give away to much but I feel like his story needed to be told more and I don’t know if thats why you set it up the way you did for his own book, but I think you should!
There’s always something special about reading an author's debut novel and this time was no different. Thank you so much to the author of Twin Flame for providing me with an e-arc for this book in exchange for an honest review, truly so grateful!
Unfortunately, I really struggled to get into this one, I felt the plot jumped quickly and the chapters didn’t have an easy flow. The premise of the story was brilliant, I think the author did well to articulate such complex characters in such a meaningful way. The topics/themes this author wrote about intrigued me from the beginning, but I just felt like I wasn’t emotionally connecting to the characters and their lives. This could just totally be a me problem!
Nevertheless, I’d be very keen to pick up the next book this author writes, particularly if there is going to be a book 2 in this world.. The other characters, particularly Vivian’s and Asher's brothers have left a mark, so I need to know more!!
I really enjoyed how this story blended emotional tension with the comfort of a found-family atmosphere. Vivian was such a relatable character, especially with the way she tried to balance her growing feelings while protecting the bond within the house. The dynamic between her, Cam, Noah, Tyler, and Asher felt natural and believable, and the slow-burn connection with Noah kept me invested from beginning to end. What stood out most was the theme of emotional restraint — so much was expressed through quiet moments, subtle reactions, and unspoken feelings rather than forced drama. The shared living arrangement created the perfect setting for both romance and tension, making every interaction feel meaningful. A heartfelt and engaging read with characters that genuinely felt alive.
An intense story following Vivian after she moves in with her brother and his 3 friends. They are off limits, but we can’t control who we fall for.
The forced proximity and romantic/spicy tension in this book is so good. The concept of a twin flame vs soul mate was something I haven’t ever read about before and I am obsessed with it.
There is so much emotion in this book and once I started I couldn’t put it down. ‘Watching’ the character development of both Asher and Vivian and their relationship unfold was authentic and emotional.
I absolutely devoured & loved this book. I really hope there is more books to this series because I’d love the other MC’s to get their own story 🤍
Took me some time to read, it wasn’t the most horrible book. It was okay. For a first book, it was good.
I felt like the book was just too long, the same things over and over and over. Asher? Get your shit together and go get tested for an STD because 🤢 she was TOO forgiving of the shit he put her through.
Nonetheless, I hope to see more books in the future.
This is a compelling story with rich characters. The Characters felt like you have known them forever and I could relate with their story. A whirlwind of emotions, love, lies and family. I enjoyed reading this book.
This book was so much better than I originally expected. Asher and Vivian had their struggles. it’s a great brother’s best friend, forbidden love. highly recommend!!
