All my life, I've been headed in one single direction—straight toward her.
If you look up "lucky" in the dictionary, you'll find a picture of me. Born rich, and made even richer with a winning lottery ticket in college along with five of the best friends a guy could ask for, I've never wanted for anything in my life.
Except her.
Gorgeous Jazz with that killer body and those big sad eyes. Not a single day has passed when I haven't thought of the way she looked that night, glowing with pleasure as she submitted to every deliciously wicked torment I inflicted on her.
So when she walks back into my club all these years later, in desperate need of a Daddy's firm hand, how could I possibly resist?
But Jazz is convinced our lives are too different, our worlds too far apart for forever. One way or another, I'm going to convince my stubborn little girl that the luckiest thing to ever happen to me was falling in love with her.
I am a full-time mom to two sassy, strong-willed, loveable little girls. What can I say? They take after their Mama. I’m on the wrong side of 30, and I have been married to my best friend for over ten years and I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else by my side. We are Southern California transplants, currently residing in a very rural part of the east coast. I have two crazy dogs that I adore, even though they drive me out of my ever-loving mind most days.
Writing and graphic design consume all of my spare time and I could not be happier. This journey I am on is a crazy one, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
'Daddy's Direction' is the second book in Allysa Hart and Rayanna James' Club Rent-A-Daddy series. What a fabulous story about second chances. Not just in life but in love
Jasmine, aka Jazz, a close friend of Nyla, is a young mother who lost her husband four years ago and feels her life is spiraling out of control. She'd even become snarky at Nyla and Bas' engagement party, even though she was happy for them. She'd heard Nyla talk about the Rent-A-Daddy program they'd started and asked Nyla several questions about it and how it worked. After numerous debates with herself, she knew deep down that's what she needed. Before she could talk herself out of it, she went to the Penthouse to submit her application for a Rent-A-Daddy.
Since she knew all the partners from college, of all of them, she hoped she didn't run into Bain. Not because she didn't like him. Not because she thought he would laugh. Because they have a past, brief as it might have been. When they talked about assigning Jazz to someone, Bain hoped it was him, but didn't voice an opinion. He let Nyal continue to talk about why someone couldn't, and then decided that Bain was the perfect choice. Bain is more than willing to help Jazz get her life back in order, but as they spend more time together, their feelings surface, but there seems to be a communication breakdown. Can they make a go of a relationship?
It was refreshing to read a story that portrays real life! Bain and Jazz had to work through the daily chaos of real life to find each other. Congratulations to these two authors who brought the trials of life to these beloved characters and let us relate in real-life fashion.
This is a heck of an emotional read. Bain is a gruffer daddy and Jazz is a strong overworked, overly spread thin momma. She is such a realistically portrayed character. This really pulled on my heartstrings, it is a really sweet read.
Simply wonderful read, enjoyed the characters and the story and plot
This is a touching read and one that has been written so well and as a Daddy Dom and submissive relationship it has come from a very different direction that you will find pulls at you heart strings.
Jazz and her husband were happily married and they worked hard and enjoyed their lives which were not overly decadent but both were doing things that they loved until the day her world had come to a stop, now she felt as though just taking a breath was more than she could possibly manage.
Jazz knew that her days of struggling to get out of bed had to stop, if she failed to turn in her manuscript on time, she would be in any more money problems and since the roof over the head relied on her paying the bills, her three young children needed clothes, shoes, meals and a mom that was coping.
She comes to the club that specialises in Rent-A-Daddy in the hope that they would match her with a suitable daddy, he helped her to cope with the changes in her life and this had enabled her to once again be a better mother and successful author so that she could earn a living that kept her family safe and cared for,
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
I'm feeling confused about this one. It was great to have a h who wasn't a shy virgin and had a complicated life who couldn't just drop everything and be at Daddy's beck and call. Bain really was sweet and reliable helping Jasmine anyway he could. There's history between Bain and Jasmine but it seemed like it was more of a 2 time no strings attached hook-ups so the I love yous felt like they came out of no where. We seen that Bain had bonded with one of Jasmine's kids, Marcus, but didn't really see any interactions between him and her other 2 kids. When the end came around the story stopped abruptly. It would have been great to have a epilogue with a little time jump of a couple months. See all 5 of them living a daily family life and you know Bain definitely hired a maid, nanny or even both. It was great to see her friendship with Nyla get repaired after the dust up at the engagement party from book 1. I also loved that Bain wasn't intimidated by the love Jasmine still had for her deceased husband. He was patient with her and let her go at her pace to build their relationship. He also understood that Jasmine and her kids came as a packaged deal. Plus the good girl spanking scene! 🥵
I am leaving my honest review for a complimentary copy of this book via the author.
While I enjoyed parts of this book, there were things that didn't add up for me. First off, if Jasmine didn't have enough money to fix the broken dishwasher and was scraping by, then she uses it for a Rent a Daddy program? And what about the costs for the club? It seemed that money could be used on a maid or home repairs and that would have been better spent. Then for Jasmine to receive any sort of punishment from Bain without a conversation about keeping things safe and sane is so beyond wrong in my opinion. That conversation needed to take place first. Especially since she was panicking and not able to breathe, What type of Daddy does something so egregious While the rules were spelled out, so should the punishments in my opinion. His punishments were far too harsh for the crime. Bain was so far from Daddy material in my mind. While he realized it after, the damage was already done and that is too late. He better stick to his day job of spending millions, as a Daddy he so does not make. I wouldn't want him to take care of my pet, let alone help me. I received an ARC copy.
There were some things I liked and didn't like about this book. First and foremost, I had to go back and read the epilogue to the first book in the series because I didn't remember what Jasmine (Jazz) had said at the engagement party. This book started off referencing the comment, but didn't remind me what it was. I totally got where Jazz was coming from in regards to feeling overwhelmed with her life and wanting someone to take on that burden of being in charge. Now, was spending her savings for the Rent-A-Daddy program a good investment considering her other debts, debatable. Also, we the readers know Bain has always been interested in Jazz (I mean they've hooked up a couple of times), but the complete lack of communication about this made me want to shake them. And then Bain throwing money at Jazz's problems literally had me screaming. HOWEVER, Bain realized it wasn't the money she needed, she needed the support and he did step up. Their smexy scenes were HAWT. I thought the ending was good although a bit abrupt. I would have liked to have seen a glimpse at a bit more. Nevertheless, good story.
Jasmine aka Jazz is doing the best she can with her three kids: Marlee, Trevor, and Marcus. Since the passing of her husband, Henry, she has been none stop. Working to just make ends meet and trying to make sure her kids have what they need is starting to take its toll. She needs help, Rent-A-Daddy. But is that a wise idea? Augustus Weston Bainbridge aka Bain can’t seem to get Jazz out of his mind. She has always been in his thought since seeing her again during Nyla and Bas’ engagement party. Jazz needs help and has come to Rent-A-Daddy for help.
I do love that these two came back together. Jazz has so much on her plate. Taking care of her kids, herself, and trying to have enough money to survive is hard on a single income. I give her credit for holding it together as long has she did after her husband passed. You would think Bain would be cocky but nope. He is there for her and helps her let go. She has so much held back that is just finally gets unleashed. My heart broke for her with all that pent up emotion. I still can’t wait to see what happens with Theo and Erin.
We are back at Rent-A-Daddy Club, where we meet Jasmine, Nylas friend. She is really struggeling beeing a single mother after looking her husband in a var accident. Left with three hviletemperatur to care for alone, she starts to spiral and loosing herself. In comes the Rent-A-Daddy. Just what she needs. Someone to help her by keeping her acountable for her action and help her managing her life.
In comes Bain, the man from her past they chose to be her Rent-A-Daddy. He comes from a different World from Jasmine, where money is not a problem an he has a good job and his life in order. He has also slept with Jasmine once in college and once that night a few months after Jasmines husband died, and he has been in love with her for a long time. This is the perfect time to help her and to Get closer to her.
This is a quick read that focus on Jasmine and her growt as a mother and an woman. We Get to be a part of her life as Bain helps her Get a grip on her life. But Will This be theyr HEA? Well you have to read it to find out.
This is book two of the Rent-a-Daddy series. You do not need to read the first book as they are stand alones. Jasmine has had it rough. She is a single mom with three young kids. Her husband died when her youngest was 9 weeks old after a difficult pregnancy and a traumatic birth. She is overwhelmed and trying to keep all the balls in the air, but they are falling. She decides to rent a daddy at the club she and her husband used to frequent. She is assigned Bain, with who she has had interactions before.
There were a lot of feels in this story. As a parent, I can understand the h*ll she was going thru trying to be everything to her children. I think that Bain was a little heavy-handed to decide to throw money at the problem. Unless he planned to stay with Jazz, which he didn't, he was setting her up for failure. I did enjoy the interactions between them and I cheered for their HEA.
I received an advance copy and this is my honest review.
What an emotionally, draining and emotionally excitable story, this was. Augustus Weston Bainbridge the Third, or Bain to his friends, is one of the owners of the local BDSM club and also part owner of Rent-A-Daddy. Jasmine Keene is a widow with three children and also has a history with Bain, both before, and after her husband’s passing. She has feelings for him but also is feeling guilty for those feelings.
I loved how the author allowed for Jasmine to have a wide range of emotions throughout this book and how she worked through them with the help of Bain. I both laughed and cried with her, and at times, her emotions tore my heart. Bain was the right kind of Daddy Dom that she needed, and also the emotional support and gave the love that she needed as well. There is a happily ever after, but it is a journey to get there.
I was given a copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.
This is the 2nd book in the Rent-A-Daddy Series It is a stand-alone But the first book rocked! So grab it up! Jasmine who is one of Nyla's BFFs is totally overwhelmed with 3 kids the youngest 3 years old. And her husband Henry died 3 years ago. She comes to the Rent a Daddy for help for her out of control life. Bain is her agreed Daddy. But her and Bain have a history. In college they had feelings and 3 years years ago they slept together. But now all these years later Bain is Jasmine's Rent a Daddy and tries to help her out of control life. But Jasmine is easily overwhelmed by the rules and her feelings for Bain. I loved the book and seeing all the friends together again. And the chemistry with Bain and Jasmine was great. I thought the ending was abrupt and needed an epilogue. But am looking forward to the next book and hope they make an appearance in it. I received a advanced readers copy for free and am leaving a honest voluntary review.
Bain has lived a charmed life—wealthy from birth, luckier still with a lottery win and lifelong friendships. But the one thing he’s always wanted is Jazz, the woman who once surrendered to him in a night of unforgettable passion. Years later, she returns to his club, vulnerable and craving the control only he can offer. Despite their undeniable chemistry, Jazz believes their worlds are too far apart to ever truly align. Bain, however, is determined to prove that the greatest stroke of luck in his life wasn’t money or success—it was falling in love with her.
I enjoyed this story with the overwhelmed Jazz who is barely holding on and Bain who falls even more in love with her as he gets to know her more and also meets her children. A lot of feelings and emotions as she fought the concept of having and asking for help. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MF story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLG dynamic.
I really had to wonder how the concept of Rent-a-Daddy could work. What psychological and/or emotional reasons could make a woman want to rent a Daddy, someone unknown to her, that she would willingly submit to? Well, Jazz’s last 3 years have been devastating, demanding and draining, she desperately needs help. After losing her husband in a car accident 9 weeks after her third child was born, all of the responsibilities of a single mom have her at the point of a complete breakdown. She finally, reluctantly, decides to go to Club Rent A Daddy. When she does sign up they assign Bas as her “Daddy”. The first problem is that she has a personal history with Bas, but really…what else could go wrong? Oh my, there are many following chapters that detail all of those “else’s”. Fortunately there are a few chapters that also show just how right it can be. An absolutely engrossing story filled with angst, anger, fear, love, lust, and some really heart felt love. There is so much more I would like to say but that would require revealing spoilers at each and every turn. Believe me when I say this is a super story, with many great characters, that will defy you to put it down before you read thru to the last line of the last chapter. The Dynamic Duo delights again! 5 Stars I received an advance copy of this book from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review.
The dynamic duo strikes again! This is book 2 of Club Rent A Daddy and can be read as a stand alone but these books are so good I definitely recommend reading the first one if you haven’t already. This book has plenty of emotion, an element of sweetness and of course some super hot scenes! These two authors come together to once again bring us an amazing story. This story are well written with an engaging plot. I enjoyed the DPOV especially in helping me understand why Jasmine was having such a hard time letting Bain have her submission when she so desperately wanted to give it to him. She was fighting an internal war which bred some confusion. In the end can Jasmine allow herself to have what she needs and wants? I give this book 5 stars and am anxiously awaiting the next in this series!
learning that to love all over again is perfectly ok
Jasmine has so much going on for a single mother, that she is seriously at her wits end. She does the only thing that will hopefully work for her, she goes to Rent-a-Daddy. Bain, being one of the owners of Rent-a-Daddy takes the application back to the other owners and though he tried, he was the only one able to take Jasmine on as a client. The have a past and the feelings are still there and with the rules Bain has put in place, her life seems to not be so chaotic. They have their ups and downs along with several times Jasmine has messaged that she quits but Bain explains how quitting works. These 2 are a force to be reckoned with....Love says it all in the end.
I read an early review copy of this book for an honest review.
What a fabulous story about second chances. Not just in life but in love. Jasmine is a young mother who lost her husband a few years back and feels her life is spiraling out of control. She knows she needs a Daddy and what better place to find him than at Rent-A-Daddy. What she doesn’t expect is for Bain to be that man. They have a past, but can they have a future? Bain is more than willing to help Jasmine get her life back in order, but as they spend more and more time together, feelings start to emerge. Can they make a go of a relationship? I enjoyed their dynamics and just knew in my heart they were perfect for each other. Plus their chemistry was off the charts! A definite must read!
An interesting read. Was not sure how Bain was going to handle or assist Jasmine. She truly was a single mother surviving day to day. Communication is key, and Jazz was holding back and Bain was having issues with that. It was endearing in some parts when Bain got involved with actually helping out with three kids and seeing how chaotic it really is, no wonder she was falling apart at the seams. Loved his inner dialogue, it was smile worthy for sure. Obstacles vs possibilities, I loved that comparison. Mine and yours will make our world. A nice enjoyable read.
She was so not having an easy time in life and it seemed to her the only option left to her was to turn to Rent-a-Daddy. There was only one problem with that: who would she get as her Daddy, or better said, please not that particular Daddy. Well, did her wish come true… The Daddy she got would not find it all smooth sailing, especially given her standard response to disasters, but when push came to shove, he really stepped up to the plate. He helped her get her life back on track, or so he thought, all until a particular phone call, but why did she make it? I loved this book, especially her kids’ reactions to him and how he handled it. A great book with even better characters.
An excellent second book in the Club Rent A Daddy series. Bain is larger than life, a gruff stern daddy with a connection to Jasmine and her husband. Jasmine is still grieving her husband and is totally overwhelmed trying to keep it together for her three children. With a lot of trepidation she joins Rent A Daddy desperate for help. Bain becomes her Daddy. Their past confusing both of them, boundaries become blurred. I loved this story and the characters. A beautiful tale full of love, pain, passion and accepting fate. I highly recommend this book, series and authors. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
This is book two of the series and it follows Bain and Jasmine. Bain was born rich and won a lottery with his friends in college and invested well. Jasmine and Bain knew each other in college and even hooked up once but she went on to marry someone and have three kids. Jasmine is struggling under the pressures and responsibilities of single motherhood. I really found myself frustrated with Jasmine throughout the book and kind of wished Bain had been paired with someone more deserving. The constant complaining and wanting to quit every second did not endear her to me. Overall, this was a decent read, but not my favorite in this series so far.
Rent-A-Daddy, a creative way to transform your life.
I really love how realistically Jazz's life is portrayed. Life for her is chaotic and messy, she desperately needs something to change, a Daddy is the answer.
The chemistry is incredible between Jasmine and Bain, the benefit of having a Daddy for constructive improvement is clearly shown and the journey is worth the price.
I didn't quite expect what was between these pages, but found the story to be so much more than I could have imagined.
I absolutely loved this story and didn't want to put the book down. The storyline was interesting from start to finish. Even though it had a happy ending, I didn't want the book to be over. I hope the authors will consider writing a bonus episode. Jasmine and Bain's romance had me cheering that even though her life was chaotic and sad from the loss of her husband, her Rent-a Daddy would be some peace and happiness into her life. I haven't read the first book in this series but will definitely check it out. I'm hoping everyone will give this book a chance. You won't be disappointed.
Jasmine lost her husband three years ago he died leaving her with three small kids to raise on her own six months after he died on a drinking binge she slept with Bain and regretted it now three years later she goes to rent a daddy which is owned by her friends from college and Bain becomes her daddy he is in love with her has been for a long time now he just has to get her to love him too it ends in a hea
I liked this story. All the characters are well done. There are plenty of different elements that will hold the reader's interest, including some hot erotic sexy scenes and spankings. Jasmine is strong, sweet and lost. Bain is also lost but he does not know it. Their chemistry is hot and explosive. I liked Bain's interactions with the children. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I recommend it. I was looking forward to this one and it didn't disappoint.
Bain knew Jas in college and in her Junior year they has sex one time. After college Jas married another guy !most him six years and three kids later. Jasmine is over her head with taking care of 3 kids, Working from home and keeping herself on a schedule. She signs up and gets Bain as her Daddy. Read this book for yourself if you like a mild sham love story 5 stars!
I really enjoyed following the story of Jazz and Bain. They have a past history together and find their way back to each other once again after a tragedy. Jazz goes through an array of emotion from being over whelmed, feeling burdened and then feeling guilty. She just wants a Daddy to help her get her life back together so to speak. It takes Bain awhile to realize what it is she really needs. But with their history will Jazz let him be the daddy she craves? Read and find out what happens!
A wonderful story, I loved Rent a Daddy and this one is every bit as good. I am sure there isn’t a mother alive who cannot identify with Jasmine at least once in their life. Bain was great with her and his instincts were so good, if only Jasmine was able to trust herself. There were times I laughed and times I had tears in my eyes. The ending was so right and I did not want it to end.
This was an emotional story and I fell for Bain and for Jazz. She's had a very rough time lately and applies for a "Daddy" to help her get things under control. It was sweet and I even teared up a little bit in places. I'm really loving this series and can't wait for the next book. Get it and settle down for a few hours and enjoy the ride!!!
I liked Jasmine and felt for what she had been through and how hard being a single mom is. I liked that she turned to Rent a Daddy and finds herself back with Bain. I liked that this is sort of a second chance for them and they were really good together. I received an ARC and am leaving my honest and voluntary review.
