fast-paced second chance

Sign Me Up
I love the premise of this series, I am very much looking forward to reading more.
The authors did a great job introducing all characters for the series and building a sold world and concept.
I enjoyed the friends to lovers concept of this story and the real life struggles Nyla had to work through to get her HEA.
And of course the "play" was a favorite as well 😉

'Daddy's Rule' is the first book in Allysa Hart and Rayanna James' Club Rent-A-Daddy series. The blurb intrigued me, and since I'm familiar with these two authors' writings, I thought, "Why not?"
Five college friends, four Daddies and one submissive, played the same lottery numbers every week. During the last week before graduation, their numbers hit the largest jackpot in the state lottery. During those four years, numerous plans were made on what they would do with the money should they win, and the list was long. Now that they'd won, the five decided to buy two high-rise buildings for investment properties and permanent places to live, then turn the top floor into a BDSM club called "The Penthouse. Years later, between their property investments and the growing membership within the kink club, residuals had made them quite wealthy.
Four years ago, Nyla, the submissive of the group, met and married her husband. What she finds out currently humiliates her for several reasons. Daddy's Rule by Allysa Hart & Rayanna Jamison follows Nyla and Bas. I absolutely love Nyla and her sass. Her and Bas really work together. This was initially released in the 2022 Dirty Daddies Anthology and has been expanded. I love the content that was added. I am very excited to read more of this series and what is to come.

Rent-A-Daddy est un peu moins orthodoxe, je l'admets. Même si cela ressemble à un coup de génie lorsque Nyla revient dans nos vies, dévastée par son récent divorce et ayant désespérément besoin de la structure pour laquelle notre tout nouveau service a été conçu.
J'ai toujours aimé avoir Nyla sur mon genou, mais cette fois, c'est différent. Je veux plus qu'un contrat, plus que notre arrangement temporaire. Je veux être elle pour toujours papa. Maintenant, je dois convaincre ma fille têtue qu'elle me veut tout autant.

« Il n'a pas tort, Nyla. Il y a un besoin pour ça. Il y a un marché bien défini. » Tout en me tenant par la taille, Bas tendit la main et plaqua mes cheveux derrière mon oreille. « Nous n'avons pas eu de tes nouvelles depuis presque un an et tu débarques soudainement sans prévenir et tu fonces dans la porte en nous hurlant dessus ? » Il croisa mon regard et je pus sentir son regard scrutateur. « Quand es-tu arrivée ici ? »
Je me tortillai. Les gars et moi étions les meilleurs amis du monde, partenaires commerciaux, égaux, mais Bas avait toujours eu un pouvoir sur moi. Un regard entendu de sa part et je me sentis soudain comme une petite fille coquine. « Je suis arrivée hier soir », murmurai-je, la honte colorant mes joues. Si j'admettais ce que Jake avait fait, si je le disais à voix haute, cela deviendrait réel, cela ferait mal. Mais Bas, Theo, Archer, Lennon et Bain… c'étaient mes gars. Ils me soutenaient quoi qu'il arrive. Si je ne pouvais pas leur dire, à qui pourrais-je le dire ?
Bas me regardait en fronçant les sourcils, mais il ne disait rien, il attendait juste que je continue.
« Je suis dans mon appartement. Pour un certain temps. Et j'aurai peut-être besoin d'une avance sur les bénéfices de ce mois-ci. »
Cinq têtes se tournèrent. Je le sentis plus que je ne le vis. Je pouvais sentir leurs regards sur moi et je savais que je ferais mieux de commencer à parler. « Jake… J'allais le quitter. Il a dû s'en rendre compte. Il a vidé notre compte en banque. »
« Salaud ! » Théo frappa la table en criant : « Qu'est-ce que je t'ai toujours dit à propos du fait de garder tout ton argent au même endroit ? Qu'est-ce que je t'ai dit à propos des comptes bancaires communs et du fait de ne pas avoir d'issue de secours ? »
« Je sais, mais Jake a insisté. »
« Oh vraiment ? Vraiment ? C'est choquant. » La voix de Theo était empreinte de sarcasme et de colère.
« J'étais en train d'ouvrir un deuxième compte. J'allais commencer à mettre de l'argent de côté. C'est comme ça que j'ai découvert la vérité. Je suis allé retirer de l'argent pour pouvoir louer un appartement, mais tout avait disparu. » Je me suis précipité pour me défendre en regardant où Theo était assis. Il ouvrit la bouche pour parler, mais Bas le fit taire d'un hochement de tête.
« Allez les gars, arrêtez. La harceler ne servira à rien maintenant. »
« Merci. » Je soupirai et appuyai ma tête contre son torse. « Je me sens vraiment mal. »
« Tu n'es pas un raté. Tu étais juste amoureux. Cela nous fait faire des choses folles et stupides. »
"Je suppose."
« Je sais. » Le bras passé autour de ma taille, il m'a guidé vers le canapé en cuir surdimensionné qui trônait au milieu de la pièce que nous appelions un bureau. Cela ressemblait plutôt au salon d'un propriétaire privé. « Barman », a-t-il appelé à Lennon, « servez un verre à cette fille. »
Lennon me prépara mon mojito préféré, un mojito aux baies, et sortit de derrière le petit bar pour le poser sur la table devant moi avec un geste théâtral. « Quelle que soit la raison, Nyla, c'est bon de te revoir. C'est agréable de te revoir. »
Lennon s'est assis dans un fauteuil inclinable en face du canapé et bientôt les autres se sont rassemblés autour de nous, tous parlant à une vitesse fulgurante pendant que nous nous précipitions pour rattraper le temps perdu dans la vie de chacun.
J'ai bu une gorgée de ma boisson et j'ai regardé autour de moi avec un sourire. Mon Dieu, c'était bon d'être à la maison.

« Alors, comment ça marche ? » Dès que Nyla a accepté de me laisser être son papa temporaire, elle s'est rassasiée et a mangé chaque bouchée de ses œufs et de ses toasts sans que je la provoque, prouvant une fois de plus qu'elle en avait vraiment besoin.
« Eh bien, nous devrions le faire selon les règles. Je vais donc devoir aller au club et te chercher l'un des contrats rédigés par Archer, puis il y a un questionnaire sur les besoins et les limites. Nous pourrons examiner cela ensemble. »
« D'accord. » Nyla enfouit son visage dans ses mains. « Mon Dieu, je n'arrive pas à croire que je fais ça. C'est pathétique. »
Je me suis agenouillée devant elle, lui ai pris les mains et les ai écartées de son visage. « Ce n'est pas pathétique, Nyla. C'est fort. Il faut être forte pour accepter de l'aide et une personne encore plus forte pour admettre qu'elle en a besoin. Tu es forte. L'une des personnes les plus fortes que je connaisse, pour être honnête. »
Elle gémit. « Peux-tu juste aller chercher les papiers pour qu'on en finisse ? Je pense que le plus dur, c'est d'en parler. Je préfère le faire. Rester assise ici à me torturer avec des hypothèses et des inconnues, ça craint. »
Deux heures plus tard, nous étions assis là, avec tous les points sur les i et les barres sur les t . Le contrat était de deux semaines, avec cohabitation, et Nyla avait établi une liste d’objectifs et m’avait donné tout le contrôle en tant que papa. Ses limites étaient fixées et elles n’étaient pas une surprise, car nous avions déjà joué ensemble à plusieurs reprises auparavant. Le sexe n’était pas à l’ordre du jour, même si nous l’avions déjà fait auparavant.
« Alors c'est ça, » dit Nyla en soupirant, s'appuyant contre moi. « Tu es mon papa. »
« Pour les deux prochaines semaines. »
« Quinze jours, pour être exact. » Nous avions décidé de prolonger le contrat jusqu’au dernier week-end, le terminant officiellement un dimanche soir.
« Quinze jours », ai-je accepté.
« Ouais. Je déteste cette partie. »
"Quelle partie?"
« L'attente. Comme s'il n'y avait pas d'interrupteur officiel qui pouvait être activé ou désactivé comme c'est le cas pour une scène. Je dois donc attendre que quelque chose se passe. Je déteste ça. »
« Eh bien, vous avez maintenant une heure de coucher, un couvre-feu, des règles concernant les repas, entre autres choses. Si vous ne voulez pas attendre, enfreignez simplement une règle. »
« Ce n'est pas… Ça ne marche pas comme ça. Je ne veux pas enfreindre volontairement une règle. C'est impoli. »
« Ouais. Si tu veux, je peux trouver quelque chose pour me montrer autoritaire. »
Nyla secoua la tête, le dégoût sur son visage me faisant comprendre qu'elle trouvait ma suggestion ridicule. Elle se tut et je pus voir qu'elle travaillait sur quelque chose, alors j'attendis.
Finalement, elle se glissa à l'autre bout du canapé et me fit face, penchée en avant, les avant-bras posés sur ses cuisses. « Je sais que notre accord n'est pas rétroactif, mais j'ai besoin qu'il paraisse réel. J'ai besoin de ressentir… quelque chose. »
« Tu as besoin d'une fessée », intervins-je, voyant où elle voulait en venir.
« Je le fais. Sinon, je vais juste rester assis ici, à réfléchir. Ça fait tellement longtemps, tellement longtemps, et maintenant que je suis à nouveau ici avec vous tous, et que le club est à l'étage… Je ne peux pas arrêter d'y penser. Vas-tu… Bas, vas-tu me donner une fessée pour avoir perdu le contrôle et avoir été bien trop saoul hier soir ? »
« Ce serait un plaisir pour moi. Avez-vous encore des outils ici ou devrions-nous déplacer cette fête chez moi ? »
« J'en ai quelques-uns. Une pagaie, une sangle et… des trucs. »
J'ai hoché la tête. « Ça marchera. »
« Apporte-moi tes outils », ai-je ordonné, en adoptant dès le départ ma voix de Dom. Nyla allait probablement insister et elle avait besoin de savoir que j'étais pleinement engagé dans cette démarche et que je ne faisais pas que jouer la comédie pour elle.
« Oui, Bastian », acquiesça-t-elle en se précipitant vers son placard et en retirant une petite valise rose de l'étagère supérieure. « Toutes ? Ou seulement certaines ? »
« Tous. De cette façon, je peux voir sur quoi je travaille et si j'aurai besoin de reprendre quelque chose plus tard. »
À en juger par la taille de la valise, je n'en aurais pas eu besoin. Elle l'a fait rouler et je l'ai posée à côté de moi sur le canapé, en sifflant quand je l'ai ouverte. Nyla avait une collection impressionnante. Des cannes, des pagaies, des sangles et de nombreux objets pervers comme une cuillère en bois, une tige de store et même une tong. On aurait dit qu'elle avait tout ce que j'avais et même plus.
J'ai pris une petite lanière de cuir qui conviendrait parfaitement au-dessus du genou et je l'ai agitée dans sa direction.
« Tu sais ce qu'il te reste à faire, petite fille. Tu ne te fais pas fesser quand tu es habillée. Enlève ton soutien-gorge et ta culotte, s'il te plaît. » Je lui enlèverais moi-même sa culotte. Non seulement cela lui donnait l'illusion de la pudeur, mais il y avait un degré d'humiliation considérable associé au fait qu'un Daddy Dom fort et sévère enlève ta culotte et te dénude les fesses pour une fessée.
Je pouvais voir qu'elle était nerveuse à l'idée de se déshabiller devant moi, même si j'avais déjà tout vu auparavant, mais elle allait devoir s'en remettre. J'ai haussé les sourcils et me suis raclé la gorge et elle a rapidement obéi, abandonnant les vêtements qu'elle avait mis juste avant le petit-déjeuner, et se tenant là dans un ensemble soutien-gorge et culotte rose vif, se déplaçant d'un pied sur l'autre en attendant de nouvelles instructions.
Je lui ai tendu la main et elle l'a prise, me permettant de la guider sur mon genou jusqu'à ce que ses fesses soient positionnées juste comme il faut et que ses mains soient repliées sous sa tête au bord du canapé.
« Ça fait très longtemps que tu n’es pas venue sur mes genoux, petite fille. » Je savais qu’elle détestait qu’on l’appelle petite fille, mais c’était pour ça que je le faisais. Cela l’aidait à se mettre dans l’état d’esprit dans lequel j’avais besoin qu’elle soit.
« Bas », dit-elle d'un ton sarcastique, et je pouvais entendre le rire dans sa voix, « je ne crois pas avoir jamais été sur tes genoux. C'était toujours un banc de fessée ou une croix de Saint-André ou l'accoudoir du canapé… »
« Touché. Eh bien, ce sera la première d'une longue série, j'en suis sûr. »
Je passai mon doigt sur l'ourlet de sa culotte en satin et souris quand elle frissonna.
« Bas », murmura-t-elle. « Cela fait vraiment longtemps. Pourrais-tu… pourrais-tu m’échauffer juste avec ta main ? »
« Tu me dis comment faire mon travail, petite fille ? » J'avais déjà déduit qu'elle n'était pas la même Nyla tolérante et dure à cuire à laquelle j'étais habituée et j'avais prévu un échauffement, mais je n'aimais pas qu'on me dise quoi faire. « Nyla ! » Je lui ai tapé les fesses juste en dessous de la ligne de la culotte, là où ses fesses rejoignaient ses cuisses. « Est-ce que tu es en position haute, petite fille ? »
« Euh… non, Bastian, je suis désolé. Je ne le referai plus. »
« Bon sang, tu ne le feras pas, à moins que tu veuilles sentir ma ceinture sur tes fesses. Et c'est papa pour toi. Arrête avec cette connerie de Bastian. Dis-le. Dis oui, papa. »
« Oui… P-Papa. »
Ses épaules se soulevèrent et s'abaissaient tandis qu'elle soupirait, et je ressentis une pointe de sympathie. Je savais que c'était dur pour elle.

« Eh bien, nous devrions le faire selon les règles. Je vais donc devoir aller au club et te chercher l'un des contrats rédigés par Archer, puis il y a un questionnaire sur les besoins et les limites. Nous pourrons examiner cela ensemble. »
« D'accord. » Nyla enfouit son visage dans ses mains. « Mon Dieu, je n'arrive pas à croire que je fais ça. C'est pathétique. »
Je me suis agenouillée devant elle, lui ai pris les mains et les ai écartées de son visage. « Ce n'est pas pathétique, Nyla. C'est fort. Il faut être forte pour accepter de l'aide et une personne encore plus forte pour admettre qu'elle en a besoin. Tu es forte. L'une des personnes les plus fortes que je connaisse, pour être honnête. »
Elle gémit. « Peux-tu juste aller chercher les papiers pour qu'on en finisse ? Je pense que le plus dur, c'est d'en parler. Je préfère le faire. Rester assise ici à me torturer avec des hypothèses et des inconnues, ça craint. »
Deux heures plus tard, nous étions assis là, avec tous les points sur les i et les barres sur les t . Le contrat était de deux semaines, avec cohabitation, et Nyla avait établi une liste d’objectifs et m’avait donné tout le contrôle en tant que papa. Ses limites étaient fixées et elles n’étaient pas une surprise, car nous avions déjà joué ensemble à plusieurs reprises auparavant. « Ouais. Si tu veux, je peux trouver quelque chose pour me montrer autoritaire. »
Nyla secoua la tête, le dégoût sur son visage me faisant comprendre qu'elle trouvait ma suggestion ridicule. Elle se tut et je pus voir qu'elle travaillait sur quelque chose, alors j'attendis.
Finalement, elle se glissa à l'autre bout du canapé et me fit face, penchée en avant, les avant-bras posés sur ses cuisses. « Je sais que notre accord n'est pas rétroactif, mais j'ai besoin qu'il paraisse réel. J'ai besoin de ressentir… quelque chose. »
« Tu as besoin d'une fessée », intervins-je, voyant où elle voulait en venir.
« Je le fais. Sinon, je vais juste rester assis ici, à réfléchir. J'ai hoché la tête. « Ça marchera. »
« Apporte-moi tes outils », ai-je ordonné, en adoptant dès le départ ma voix de Dom. Nyla allait probablement insister et elle avait besoin de savoir que j'étais pleinement engagé dans cette démarche et que je ne faisais pas que jouer la comédie pour elle.
« Oui, Bastian », acquiesça-t-elle en se précipitant vers son placard et en retirant une petite valise rose de l'étagère supérieure. « Toutes ? Ou seulement certaines ? »
« Tous. De cette façon, je peux voir sur quoi je travaille et si j'aurai besoin de reprendre quelque chose plus tard. »
À en juger par la taille de la valise, je n'en aurais pas eu besoin. Elle l'a fait rouler et je l'ai posée à côté de moi sur le canapé, en sifflant quand je l'ai ouverte. Nyla avait une collection impressionnante. Des cannes, des pagaies, des sangles et de nombreux objets pervers comme une cuillère en bois, une tige de store et même une tong. On aurait dit qu'elle avait tout ce que j'avais et même plus.
J'ai pris une petite lanière de cuir qui conviendrait parfaitement au-dessus du genou et je l'ai agitée dans sa direction.
« Tu sais ce qu'il te reste à faire, petite fille. Tu ne te fais pas fesser quand tu es habillée. Enlève ton soutien-gorge et ta culotte, s'il te plaît. » Je lui enlèverais moi-même sa culotte. Non seulement cela lui donnait l'illusion de la pudeur, mais il y avait un degré d'humiliation considérable associé au fait qu'un Daddy Dom fort et sévère enlève ta culotte et te dénude les fesses pour une fessée.
Je pouvais voir qu'elle était nerveuse à l'idée de se déshabiller devant moi, même si j'avais déjà tout vu auparavant, mais elle allait devoir s'en remettre. J'ai haussé les sourcils et me suis raclé la gorge et elle a rapidement obéi, abandonnant les vêtements qu'elle avait mis juste avant le petit-déjeuner, et se tenant là dans un ensemble soutien-gorge et culotte rose vif, se déplaçant d'un pied sur l'autre en attendant de nouvelles instructions.
Je lui ai tendu la main et elle l'a prise, me permettant de la guider sur mon genou jusqu'à ce que ses fesses soient positionnées juste comme il faut et que ses mains soient repliées sous sa tête au bord du canapé.
« Ça fait très longtemps que tu n’es pas venue sur mes genoux, petite fille. » Je savais qu’elle détestait qu’on l’appelle petite fille, mais c’était pour ça que je le faisais. Cela l’aidait à se mettre dans l’état d’esprit dans lequel j’avais besoin qu’elle soit.
« Bas », dit-elle d'un ton sarcastique, et je pouvais entendre le rire dans sa voix, « je ne crois pas avoir jamais été sur tes genoux. C'était toujours un banc de fessée ou une croix de Saint-André ou l'accoudoir du canapé… »
« Touché. Eh bien, ce sera la première d'une longue série, j'en suis sûr. »
Je passai mon doigt sur l'ourlet de sa culotte en satin et souris quand elle frissonna.
« Bas », murmura-t-elle. « Cela fait vraiment longtemps. Pourrais-tu… pourrais-tu m’échauffer juste avec ta main ? »
« Tu me dis comment faire mon travail, petite fille ? » J'avais déjà déduit qu'elle n'était pas la même Nyla tolérante et dure à cuire à laquelle j'étais habituée et j'avais prévu un échauffement, mais je n'aimais pas qu'on me dise quoi faire. « Nyla ! » Je lui ai tapé les fesses juste en dessous de la ligne de la culotte, là où ses fesses rejoignaient ses cuisses. « Est-ce que tu es en position haute, petite fille ? »
« Euh… non, Bastian, je suis désolé. Je ne le referai plus. »
« Bon sang, tu ne le feras pas, à moins que tu veuilles sentir ma ceinture sur tes fesses. Et c'est papa pour toi. Arrête avec cette connerie de Bastian. Dis-le. Dis oui, papa. »
« Oui… P-Papa. »
Ses épaules se soulevèrent et s'abaissaient tandis qu'elle soupirait, et je ressentis une pointe de sympathie. Je savais que c'était dur pour elle.

So This book starts out good with Nyla at her lowest and i could visjon the strugles and betraile, but I do miss a little more about Jake and that situation. I felt lit I needed a little more there.

This is the first book in the rent a Daddy series and I think it’s off to a good start. Nyla seemed young and immature to me where I think Bas missed some points in the whole Daddy Dom thing too. To me, you should never discipline anyone when you’re upset which to me he did. I also had an issue with Nylas partners not even communicating with her first. That to me showed lack of respect on all their parts. I am looking forward to the other stories in this series. This was an advanced reader copy and I’m leaving this review voluntarily.

A conflicted read as recently divorced Nyla, looking for a Daddy that will show her security
This was a wonderful read and it was a Daddy and Little interaction from a very different perspective, it was very entertaining as we start with a group of Daddies that have started their own business known as Club Rent A Daddy.
They are prepared to help Littles that only want to have sessions with a Daddy in an environment where they know they are safe and everything is consensual and will stop the instant the colour system is used and “Red” is called.
Nyla has recently returned after her marriage failed and this has left this Little feeling bereft and without her Daddy to keep her on the straight and narrow is getting into all kinds of trouble. When she visits and Bas is the Daddy that has been putting the little girl over his knee, he realises how much he wants this to become permanent.
Spending time with Nyla and helping her Little back on track is enabling his Daddy to find himself and he realises how deeply he wants to make this irl his own and only time and his determination will tell.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

I skimmed this because neither of these authors is my favorite. It's a set-up for a new series; the first -- an expanded version of this -- releases in January. I didn't particularly like it. For one thing, Bas has so little trust in Nyla that he makes her physically prove that she's following his rules. Who would want a relationship with someone so suspicious? For another, Nyla is in business with all these men, but Bas is just fine ordering her around in front of them (never mind that he promised her he wouldn't). Nyla was a far more interesting, stronger character as the beginning than she was at the end when all she wanted from life was to be Bas' plaything. 2 1/2 stars.

I originally read this book in an anthology and it has been expanded to start a new series. Six college friends win a lottery jackpot their senior year and decide to invest in real estate and open an exclusive BDSM club. Nyla and Bas have always had an attraction to each other but never really act on those feelings. Nylander get married to a jerk and he keeps her away from her friends. When Nyla realizes her husband is cheating and has drained her bank account, she runs home for support. Bas and the rest of the gang have started expanded their business to offer a rent a daddy service. When Nyla is enlisted as their first client she is partnered with Bas. Bas knows that Nyla needs to give up control and submit. It is something she has missed for a long time. When lines are crossed feelings that were buried come to the surface. Nyla and Bas must decide at the end of the two week whether they will move forward or lose each other forever. This was an engaging and enjoyable read. I recommend this book.

Actioning her decision does not come easily to Nyla, she procrastinates until something pushed her to act. Home it is.
Bas had always had strong feelings for Nyla and when she finally comes home the opportunity to spend time together is to good to miss.
What Nyla needs is a daddy, will renting one do.
When Bas becomes her Rent-a-Daddy will they be able to stick to the rules, or will they have to make new ones.
Great characters lovingly told. I loved the story detail and range of cast.
I can't wait for more in this series.

Five Daddy Doms and a submissive hit the jackpot and become millionaires overnight. It sounds like the start to a bad joke, but that’s exactly what happened to them. Opening their club, The Penthouse, was an obvious choice. After all, what else would a bunch of kinky friends do with all that cash? Rent-A-Daddy is a bit more unorthodox, but it feels like a stroke of genius when Nyla comes sweeping back into our lives, devastated by her recent nasty divorce and in desperate need of the structure our brand new service was designed to provide. He's always enjoyed having Nyla over his knee, but this time is different as he wants to be her forever Daddy. Now to convince his stubborn girl that she wants him just as bad.
It was an ok story but mostly covered the lottery win, the club, the creation of Club rent-a-daddy and the failure of Nyla's marriage. Easy to read and understand. This was a MF story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLG dynamic.

I absolutely loved reading this story and found the characters to be lovable and fun, loving but also serious when they need to be. Nyla has discovered that her marriage is finally over after four years, and that her husband was probably cheating on her. After discovering that he had emptied their joint bank account, she decided to go home to Pennsylvania and to her best friends. This is a journey for her as she put herself into, Sebastian’s hands as her Rent-A-Daddy. What she discovers is the love that is reciprocated and will lead to a happily ever after. But will all the others find their happily ever after?

This story was first released in the Dirty Daddies 2022 Anthology, but it's been expanded and rereleased. I read it in the anthology, and loved it, but I enjoyed it even more the second time. I love the idea of college kids winning the lottery and going into business together. I love the time spent on explaining how they got to where they are today, and the connections they have with each other. However, most of this book focuses on Bas and Nyla. She's starting over and he's going to fight for what he's always wanted. It's a battle of wills and a discovery of strength and power. It's steamy, has a wonderful blend of humor and heartbreak, and a HEA. I'm really excited to see what's in store for the rest of the group.

Sweet, addictive and totally HOT! What a great introduction to a new series about Club Rent-A-Daddy. The authors set this series up well and I am anxiously awaiting the next one! I can’t wait to see the other characters and their stories.
The dual POV allows you to feel as if you really know and understand the characters. I enjoyed the character development and love how it all started with a group of friends. The friends to lovers is a favorite of mine. It is well written and there is a lot of emotion enveloped in this story. I immensely enjoyed it and would give this book 10 stars if I could!

After Nyla's rotten cheating husband walks away with all her money, she realized she needed to go back to PA and her friends who all owned the BDSM club. Bas convinces her to be his 2 week sub so she could write a testimonial about him being her Rent-a-Daddy. They have always cared for one another, but this is when they realize just how much love they share for each other as well. Will Nyla agree to call him Daddy forever and ever? You'll have to read and find out for yourself.

a great first book in the series
I really enjoyed this book.
As the only female in a group of friends who own a BDSM club, the only submissive, and the one whose life currently feels like it’s falling apart, Nya is the one chosen to try out the new Rent a Daddy scheme that her friends have come up with.
The relationship between Nya and Bas is a great one and it’s nice to see it progress through the book whilst Bas puts her back together.
It’s a quick read but enjoyable and I look forward to the next book

I read this book in the Dirty Daddies Anthology. I am very happy to get an expanded version of Nyla and Bas. I enjoyed that this started with the group of friends and then Rent A Daddy is started. I liked that Nyla was the first one because she was so good with Bas. They had chemistry and I definitely wanted to them to last and I'm so glad they did.

I loved Nya. She is so sweet and lost. Bas is a little bit clueless but so protective and dominant. They are so good together. I loved the premise of this story and hopefully a series, it's different. There are lots of hot sexy scenes and some well deserved spankings. All the characters are well done, their interactions real. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and I highly recommend it. I am looking forward to the next in this interesting series.

I love reading about DD/lg dynamics. This has a slight DD/lg relation to it but not to full scale. What I appreciate about this book is that they were both equals until she was naughty or broke a rule. I enjoy when the submissive is bratty and gets what’s coming for it and the daddy is protective and confident. This book is a good read and I would recommend if you want to get a taste of a Daddy relationship.

Daddy's Rule
This was a good story if a bit sad. She married for love, she thought, and found out differently. Her real friends helped her out of her difficulties and all was well.
Personally, I am glad to say that I did not notice a single error in the whole book! I would have preferred more info on the ex-husbands difficulties but.....
This was a good story if a bit sad. She married for love, she thought, and found out differently. Her real friends helped her out of her difficulties and all was well.
Personally, I am glad to say that I did not notice a single error in the whole book! I would have preferred more info on the ex-husbands difficulties but.....

This is a good, well written, modern, Dd/lg romance. The characters are interesting, well developed, and lovable. They were best friends in college and bought a lottery ticket with four friends. Nyla married and thought it would last forever. When her marriage fell apart, she returned to her friends. Read and enjoy.

I loved reading this entertaining story as Nyla and Bas interact. Their exploits are interesting as Bas helps Nyla solve her problems and become accountable for her actions. This is a well written and fascinating tale to read. This is my honest opinion.

This book captivated me completely, setting up a complete new world so completely that I'm in for the rest of the series hook line and sinker. I can't wait to read more ubt then I'm rereading this coz it's hot as hell.

A nice twist on the DDLG aspect. The author did a wonderful job of laying out the story and the characters were so fun. The ending was amazing and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
