When my firstborn was 3 or 4 years old, he loved this book so much that he named one of his toys "Dr. Greggory Belson." I read this book to my him 100 times and just now read it again to my youngest after not seeing it for years and I have a few thoughts.

First off, Nora Fries needs a "total organ transplant" which I guess is heart, liver, kidneys, lungs--you know, the works. Mr. Freeze who spells his like the temperature want to save his wife who spells her name like a combo meal side. I guess she took his name but only a homophonic version of it, which I think points to commitment issues. Mr. Freeze does not have commitment issues cuz he's willing to capture Barbara Gordon and take all her organs to save his wife.

Dick and Bruce save Barbara but somehow in the denouement it is revealed that Nora had a successful surgery and is fine. But Barbar was the only match for a "total organ transplant" because she was the only one in the hospital records with the same very rare blood type. So how did they save Nora? So many questions...
