When I borrowed this book from the library, I was expecting an autobiographical look at Louis Saha's footballing career through his own eyes as he played for various Premier League clubs like Manchester United and Everton, similar to what I had read in many other footballers' books. Louis Saha however took a slightly different approach in Thinking Inside the Box.

Very much as the title says, not a traditional autobiography filled with a wide array of behind the scenes anecdotes, although there are a few scattered throughout the book, Thinking Inside The Box focuses more on issues surrounding the game and observations from Louis Saha and an array of footballers and those with a close affiliation with football.
