One line review - This book delivered everything I wanted from it and more!
After the cliffhanger ending of the previous book I just had to know what happened next and what an amazing book. I have loved following Elly's journey from the very start and to see her continued character development in this book is absolutely fabulous.
I am so excited for the final book in this series, it has taken over my life since book one was released in November 2023 and I can not wait to see what finally comes for our favourite characters 😍
Realm of Wind Series 1. Chained ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 2. Locked ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3. Trapped ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4. Captured ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Okay, so i began reading this last night and I wasn't feeling it. I'm not keen on the whole love triangle situation, and I felt like giving up. Which was a huge shame to me, considering I adored the first two books in this series HOWEVER I perservered with it, and I am so glad I did.
I love that Ellyana's relationship flourishes with Dorian (I was totally rooting for them anyways) and his soft side is adorable. I love how much he cares for her and is slowly learning to care for his twin again!
Although Ellyana and Galenor didn't work out, I love that their relationship turned into a beautiful friendship and he got the true love of his life back.
Ellyana's personal growth through out this book was amazing. I loved that she had to forgo her own experiences with being a soldier and become someone sure of herself and her feelings.
I love these characters so much, and I cannot wait for the next book! Xandra has such a way with words and storytelling.
Please go read Chained, Locked and Trapped!🎊❤️

I want to say this is my favourite so far, but they are all so good! (I'm writing this after reading book 4.)
Like with the other two books, Ellyana's feelings were very well written. The gradual falling out of love was done so well - just subtle little changes like no longer being affected by his presence, that all added to her eventual change of heart. The breakdown of the relationship was done well, too, but I do wish Galenor had become the bad guy. I know it wouldn't work in terms of the grand plot, and it is probably just my bias against him, but it did really seem he was heading that way.
Dorian is such a good character. He is the villain - it goes further than morally grey - and will do anything to have her. Including something that he hopes would force Galenor to push her away, but even when his plan upset her, he was still there to comfort her and apologise.
I had wondered how the issue of the 'harem' would be sorted. I don't have to worry anymore. My jaw unhinged. I did not see that coming. But, hey, what better way to say 'I'm loyal' than decapitating them all.
The only plot issue I had was that it took so long for her absence in the Human Realm to be mentioned.
5 ⭐️ through and through. I am obsessed with this series. It’s juicy, it is dark romance with fantasy (both my fave genres) erm perfection! I love the chemistry between the characters and I have so much love for the FMC, MMCS and the side characters Luna and valeyan. I was hooked from the first page. The conflict, the love hate relationship between Dorian and Elly is just pure bliss and I ate it up. This book has bits of world building, character development, spice and comedy which I love in a book. This was super fast paced and easy to read, it was gripping from the first couple of pages and in all honestly I love this authors writing and this is one of my top 5 series.
But Xandra how could you end the book like that without captured being released yet!! Like common I need the 4th book now!! I cannot wait 😭🤣
I cannot rave about this book enough. Love, love, love it and cannot wait for book 4 to come out. It cannot come soon enough ❤️
I was counting down days for the release of this after being so invested in all the characters devoured book 1 and 2 they made my brain itch in such a satisfying way. Now book 3 however although this is major plot twists and again a cliff hanger . For 3/4 of the book is very hum drum and I feel a lot could have been taken out but that is just my opinion. So I think you could read this without book 1 and 2 no . You would be lost . The spice in one and two is there makes you squirm (in all the right places) it’s a good level book 2 however I so feel that is lacking this book it is a sprinkle here dash there . As an erotic romantasy that bit is there but meh. Will I buy book 4 absolutely do I hope there is less of same situation but flipped and less hum drum with no benefit to the story core yeah fingers crossed
I was so grateful to receive this as an ARC as I love Xandra Noel's stories of the Fae. She has a way of making characters real and interesting. After the cliffhanger of the previous book I was eager to get into this and it didn't disappoint. The development of Elly's character and her relationship with the brothers just keep you wanting more. I am now in book limbo where I can't wait for the next one!
This book had some really good ideas and I really enjoyed the path the characters were on, I just think maybe it was a little rushed in places.
The development of Ellyana and her relationships was one hell of a rollercoaster. It was funny, sad, romantic, dramatic and sometimes a little cringy but that's not the worst thing in the world. I also never like love triangles but this one wasn't too bad.
I definitely plan on reading book 4 at some point soon as the ending intrigued me! 🖤
I was lucky enough to be picked to receive an ARC of this book.
I have loved the series so far and couldn't wait to dive into this. Seeing Ellyana's relationship with the brothers change throughout this story has been exciting and infuriating at the same time. One moment I wanted Galenor and the next I wanted Dorian.
I now can't wait for the final book to the series!

The emotion in it just falls flat. One thing to the next. So quickly that it’s like a switch is on and off. It was a ok for a quick read But nothing about this scream fae at all. Disappointed because the first book was the best out of them all and so much more could have happened.
I received this as an arc and was so excited after reading the first two books. I was not disappointed at all, I loved the plot and the way the story line developed as well as the characters. I can’t wait for the next book!
I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of this and omg I went through so many emotions reading this was not disappointed I cried, I hated and fell in love with characters along the way a brilliant 3rd book
Outstanding as always from Xandra Noel. I love when a book has you totally captivated and constantly switching back and forth on which character is your favourite!…..although it does help when they’re brothers! 😏
