The final book of the Riley Jenson series! I am going to keep this review short so as not to spoil anything. Simply to say, this was a very enjoyable series. All lose ends come together for our heroine in this final case the Riley takes on. Her view on packs, family, the directorate and her own desires finally meet up in this conclusion.
Mini-synopsis: Riley is kidnapped by Blake while on a case, has her memory erased and must re-discover herself and those she knows before it is too late. All wh

I CANNOT wait for this to be released. It's going to be a winner. BOUND TO SHADOWS(book 8) was amazing. The last chapter had me in tears and begging for more. I cannot wait to see what happens next with Riley and everyone. I highly recommend this series!

2 1/2 stars

I almost gave up on this series after the great “soul mate fiasco” of 2009. But, I am a complete sucker for closure. I will typically come crawling back for a promised finale, especially if I can read said finale for free. Plus, it just seems like so much wasted effort to read eight books out of a series of nine, like running twenty six point one miles of a marathon and then quitting. And I really want one of those “26.2” stickers to display in a prominent location on my vehicle. My e

Warning: Spoilers from previous books are unavoidable.

Since Riley Jenson is one of my favorite heroines ever and this concludes the series, I’m abandoning my normal review format to discuss Moon Sworn, but I will do my best to avoid spoilers. Moon Sworn picks up weeks after the death of Riley’s friend Kade and her soul mate Kye. While she survived his death, she is deeply depressed and battling the emptiness of his loss. Riley, Rhoan, Liander and Quinn are still awaiting the child Liander’s sist

Moon Sworn is the 9th and last installment in the Riley Jensen series by Keri Arthur. Keri Arthur is a one of a kind writer. She has many excellent series under her belt, and each as popular as the last. I'm a huge fan of all her books, especially this series. Riley Jensen is a kick-ass heroine. One I will miss...

Moon Sworn picks up a few months after the events from Bound to Shadows. And as much as I wanted to see Riley have her happy ending, (which is more than deserves), I didn't want this se

Mon avis en Français

My ENglish review

What a great way to end a series. Well done Ms Arthur!!

Sorry there will be Spoilers for previous books.

Riley, having decided to live at the end of the last book, following killing her soul mate, the psychopath Kye, is having a little trouble getting back into the swing of things.

Having finally gone back to work, Jack is trying to ease her in gently and sends her to a ritual killing. Of course, nothing is simple with Riley. Trouble is playing with Fate and using silver bullets.

So like always, the

I love this series. It was one of my first paranormal series and I have stuck with it from the beginning - and loved every twist and turn it has taken. I'm so completely sad that it is over. I'm going to miss these characters like they were friends who've moved away. I'm just glad that the series ended while it was still strong and that Keri really let Riley and company go out with a bang! Such a great wrap up to this series.

I love so many of the characters in this series. Riley is so strong, me

What can i say....so many emotions are running through me at this moment, utter happiness, to utter sadness, sadness as the series has ended but happiness for Riley. I even cried both with joy & sadness.

wow i am so happy that Riley got her happy ending. Not only Riley, but Quinn,Rhoan,Liander & she's going to be a mom she deepest wish, her dream. They are their own pack, a brand new beginning.

This is the best ending to a wondrous, heart-stopping serie

Fellow readers gave me soooo many warnings about this book. The conclusion to the much beloved Riley Jenson series. So I was bracing for the worst. Like some kind of gun-ho drama where everyone dies and the lead wakes up in an alternate universe where she is God. (Though those endings might only happen in Anime.) Because in my mind I have never read a truly brilliant final book. "The Ends" always disappoints. Maybe because you know everyone is going to get a Happily Ever After or the author spel ...more

I've been a huge fan of this series since the beginning. I love Riley's no nonsense attitude, she is who she is and isn't going to change no matter what is thrown in her face. I love the mysteries presented in each book and feel that Keri Arthur is one of the best out there at keeping readers interested in what is going on. These books balance plot and character development perfectly, and that is why I am still around at book nine. Unfortunately, Moon Sworn was a total miss for me. There wasn't ...more

Mild spoilers.. maybe? Probably.

hm. It's over. Not quite sure how I feel about that.. Except that I am happy that it's over. I was basically forcing myself to go on in the series. It was a lot of the same story in each book. The only difference was who she was sleeping with at the time and her only steady lover(Quinn) I absolutely hated. So I just had a really hard time getting emotionally attached to the characters. But by time I formulated that opinion I was already 4 or 5 books in and I just

I have mixed emotions about this edition in the Riley Jenson series. I was so afraid going in that we’d get an onslaught of emotions that were dragged out endlessly about Kades death in Bound to Shadows. His death was already hard for me the first time around and I didn’t want to keep reliving it over and over. I was pleased to see that the opposite was actually the case. While Riley does grieve for Kade in the beginning, Kye’s haunting last words to her become fulfilled. In the midst of another ...more

Aww... Bittersweet,bittersweet... I am happy with the outcome but am sad to see Riley go. I really loved this series! Can't believe it's over. So much to say but can't think of where to start.
Ugh Kade!! soo sad, the most emotional start to a book i have ever read. I was never 100% sure of both her soulmates but of Kade? He was perfect, was my favorite of all Riley's men, so for her to kill him off as well as Kye was genius just because it made such an impact. Quinn definetly grew on me as i kn

Keri Arthur blew my mind away with this one.

I was getting tired of the same pattern in all Riley's books, but this one!!

Haven't saw it coming!

By far, the best in the series and with a perfect ending!

80 points/100 (4 stars/5)

Riley Jenson has been through a lot, but killing her soulmate took almost everything she had left. Now she has to be content with the life she has: a sexy vampire, a loving brother, and a child on the way through a surrogate - her brother's soulmate's sister. The world isn't content to leave her alone though, it has one more trial for her to get through. And there is a new serial killer in Melbo

**4.5 Stars from betweenthebind.blogspot.com**

Moon Sworn is the 9th and final book in the Riley Jensen series. And boy do I loooove Ms. Arthur's world! She's created one of the most addicting series I've ever read and Moon Sworn is the perfect ending to such a dynamic series. I was most impressed with the characters growth. Ms. Arthur gave them room to evolve without compromising who they've been in the past 9 books. In her heart, Riley is still Riley, straight out of Full Rising, only with more

"Q: How many books will be in the Riley series?
A: I have nine books planned in total. There will be an offshoot series, set in the same world and featuring Risa, Dia’s little girl. It’ll focus more on the Aedh and demons rather than vamps and werewolves."

Keri Arthur is one of my very fav authors, and for years now I have loved Riley Jenson and her "pack". This 9th book in the series draws it all to a close beautifully. I'm not giving it 5 stars just because I'm mad that this is the last book for Riley . . .

If you read the series, you know that Riley is a tough but sexy dhamphir - half werewolf and half vampire. You'll also know that due to some seriously experimental drugs unknowingly (at first) forced on her, her body makeup is ever changing ge

This was a pretty good ending to this series. It provides closure even though I felt the murder plot was a bit weaker than usual. So yeah, I admit it - Quinn finally has me in his corner. It took pretty much the entire series but I'm now a fan. Don't get me wrong - this isn't to say I was okay with the whole - my soul mate is a fuckbag fiasco that was Bound to Shadows - I'm just saying that the closure was decent. I still argue that for all the times in this series wolves insist that your soul m ...more

Well, I am totally sad now there are no other books in the series to read, but what an absolutely fantastic series. Riley Jensen is one 'kick arse' character, and wouldn't everybody want to be her and have such fit guys falling at her feet. The series was full of twists and turns, a couple of books in the middle became a bit predictable, but hey that didn't detract from the excitement and grip of the books. Full of fighting, a bit gory in places, lots of steamy sex scenes and beautiful romantic ...more

After the last book I really considered not finishing this series. The last book did nothing but leave a bad taste on my brain, and had pretty much killed any enjoyment I'd previously had in the series. However, since I had enjoyed the series up to that point, and this was the last book, I figured I had to give it a try. I was completely prepared to throw it out, if it looked like it was running the same way as the last.

Fortunately, Riley is back to the snarky, stubborn, kick-ass character I new

Yes, this series has a slow start and honestly when I think back to the first couple of books, I'm amazed I got through the series. Around book 3 thing really took off and I was highly intrigued by Riley, her brother and the men in her life whether they are vampire or werewolf.

This book was no different for me. I have had it for a while and have put off reading it for the mere fact that I knew it was the final book of this series. I couldn't imagine it ending or having to say good-bye to charact

I'm so sad to see the Riley Jensen series come to an end. While this book leaves you hanging a bit in the end, all the old problems are wrapped up. Poor Riley had finally come to a conclusion in her life. Too bad for Riley that "fate" has not come to the same conclusion. Riley fights her way through the book the same way she has throughout the past books in the series. Riley seems to be a little less wreckless in this book and more laid back. In the past she might have done things a lot differen ...more
