How to Grow World Class Giant Pumpkins by Don Langevin (Annedawn Publishing 1993) (635.62). As long as the grower starts with “Atlantic Giant” seeds, this book can help a grower achieve a 500 pound pumpkin in his first year, the publishers claim. It's easy to see how this hobby could become addictive. My rating: 7/10, finished 1997.
