Another fine book from Mr Roarke.

Although this period gets some outage the backdrop amongst the dying Indian Confereracy does not.

Poor bastards. Damned if they do and damned if they don't he says, with a badly formed cliche.

Good, gritty, fast paced narrative combined with superb atmospherics makes this a fine read, all based on the history of this struggle.

Written 20 years ago, it's a wonder I never crossed swords with this series before.

Recommended to all interested in the period, but remember, it's the Native American story here not the 13 colonies,
