God's Pursuing Love: The Relentless Tenderness of God

Rate this book
Jesus also painted three amazing portraits of God pursuing his people as would a shepherd who had lost a sheep, a woman who had lost a coin and, most poignantly, a father who had lost a son. In whatever way we may be lost or wandering, we are likewise sought by God with relentless tenderness.

A few brief chapters of reflection upon the story of Ruth and the prodigal son. White describes Naomi and her clan as sort of prodigals from Moab come home to Israel. There are many tangential, personal devotional moments the author shares that aren't necessarily a true study and focus upon Ruth but I appreciated his candor and life experience.
