I'm not really keen on these type of books, that are just a rehash of the original book but from the hero's perspective.
The Twilight book was done this way and so was Fifty Shades of Grey but it feels lazy as there is no real new element other than potentially a thought process.

Saying that, I love this series in general so for those who have read the rest, read or don't read it. if you do read it, manage your expectations, as you already know the story and what is going to happen and seeing it from Rider's point of view doesn't really add anything new or ground breaking.

I haven’t even cracked this book open yet and I’m already whining, “What about the dragon?” I am so anxious for him to find a real girlfriend. Daniel appears near the end just like in the first book. No real interaction, however.

I just checked my review of Life Sucks After You Die which I read about 18 months ago. I gave that five stars also. This is the same story given from Rider’s POV. It’s pretty funny when Danni has him jumping through hoops while he keeps grumbling to himself that he’s a Master Vampire and people die for what he lets her get away with.

Although I’ve been known to accuse authors of being lazy for not really coming up with a new plot, I enjoy this series enough not to complain (this time)(Don’t let it become a habit - I’m looking at you two, Caroline and Stephanie)

Absolutely loved it!!!

Ryder: I had the strongest feeling that dragon was going to be trouble... Hahaha, he has no idea! But I absolutely loved reading Ryder's pov of the story and seeing just how much he cares about Danni. Maybe we'll get to read more about his pov again soon!!! I'm so glad I found this series!! And I can't wait to read the 8th book!!!

I enjoyed getting his perspective on how everything started and how he felt. It was interesting to see through his eyes how sassy she really is.

I loved his POV way better than hers. I'm hoping there will be his POV done for the entire series.
Danni kind of annoys me, but Rider is delicious.
