Very well written and colourful (important to me), with lots of useful information, not just records but reviews, histories, tips etc. It's like a condensed collection of all the good games magazines from 2007.

Importantly, the list of consultants used by Guinness is very impressive, with lots of well-known industry journalists/experts lending their writing experience to the articles, making it feel a lot more mature (I'm 30 BTW) and not just full of records and facts for children. Sometimes it feels like Edge, or more specifically the recent 100 Best Games book they released, which could be a good or bad thing depending on what you like.

All in all a great addition to anyone serious about their gaming, and wanting to know more about our favourite pastime, young or old.

This book is great i loved it, it was a lot better than 2010. It was a lot more organized, instead of the top 10 first person shooter games it was like the Halo section, the call of duty section.
The book was good for a non story book. If you want a game that list all the good 2007 video games you should read this.

A solid addition to the series I found this had enough info to keep me entertained and to buy future year's versions. I love the GWR books and as a gamer I couldn't wait to get this one. Plenty of useful and useless facts for gamers and as with the main series you learn something new every time you pick it up!

the Guiness World Records book is fasinating. It has all the new records and all the new games. It is really cool to read if you want to know about facts or things you have never known before. Like new games and other fasincating facts. If your in to activies like this consider reading it.
