A Tale of Two Cities
Graffex is a series of illustrated literary classics retold for young readers, using a graphic novel format which is particularly popular with reluctant readers.'It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.' My book club is reading the Dickens novel, I opted for a version I find more enjoyable. I don’t need to read all the Classics.

It is comprehensive for it's page count, being the densest "Graphic Classics" I've read (out of many) by a wide margin.
The supplementary reading in the back is highly recommended because they run a time-line of actual Franco-England events and what is happening during them in the book.
The art is satisfactory but it's not on caliber with the wonderfully classic Penko Gelev. If only he did all of them...

For those who, like a text-heavy graphic novel adaptation of a classic 19th century historical novel, this is exactly the sort of text-heavy graphic novel of a 19th century classic that they will like.

Dickens will never really be my favorite.

The story needs no introduction. It is strong, gripping and steered by the one true hero, Sydney Carton.
This graphic novel is almost like a starter-kit to the original classic. Although it is aimed at children, I found it quite entertaining and informative. The sequential art accompanied by short passages deliver a condensed tale that makes the reader want to rediscover the original with renewed interest.
I recommend it as a side-along reference point.

Well, the story was great, but I don't know about how it was told. I just looked into it, and I didn't like the Illustrations very much. So, I probably should just read the book instead.
