The real story of working as a paramedic

Let’s be clear, this isn’t the glamorous side of working in the emergency services that you might see on TV, it is the real warts and all reporting of being a paramedic. A fascinating read which can be difficult at times when some of the incidents are described.

great book

I’ve nothing but praise for our paramedics but this book gives good insight into the high and lows of that life. Real heroes but the one story that will remain with me forever is the chain saw one. Horrendous but dealt with professionally and without fuss. Paramedics really are heroes in different clothing.

Really good read. I love hearing about the front line. Was very well detailed. Few parts were repetitive like CPr etc but not overly used.
Was a great read to a great insight on the ambulance service and someone whos for over 20 years has worked as a paramedic and the things they deal with daybin day out.
