Informative, but sometimes sloppily written and out of date.
What you might call a 'chatty' book which jumps around a lot especially towards the end where it reads as though the author is desperately trying to come to a conclusion. A fairly acceptable introduction to Liverpool, but not for the serious student, more for the general reader.
