Ex-military, psychic aspects with reality. Alex, ex SEAL works for Terkel. Taryn, knowing of Levi and Ice, reaches out to them to find 3 kids. This is a story of human trafficking, without details, except for how it can and does go down world over. We get Ice and Levy, Terkel's group and Riff as well. Fast paced, thought provoking with HEA. I really enjoyed this story as Alex and Taryn fought to save the three children with psychic abilities while trying to stay within the law. There are a lot of emotions and drama in this story. I loved that they wanted to wait for the children to be safe before starting their own relationship.

Another thrilling, standalone episode in Dale Mayer's "Terks Guardians" series.
Alex Togan was an ex navy Seal but he was a SEAL with a special gift, he had psychic capabilities. Tetk's Guardians were an ever expanding team of mainly ex military personnel and their partners, tucked away in their Scottish castle, they took on challenging tasks that the government couldn't, the Guardians all had one thing in common, their psychic abilities and energy.
When Terk was contacted by Levi asking for help for an old friend Taryn he was keen to help, Taryn also had psychic abilities and she appeared to be distraught.
Taryn was worried about the fate of three young children, Cassie and twins John and Jack, the nieces of her childhood best friend. The children's mother had been killed in an accident and their father had disappeared, Cassie had contacted Taryn telepathically, they were left in the hands of their uncle Jeff who was not only cruel to them but had put them up for sale on the dark web, the children were in grave danger.
Alex was asked to locate the children and Taryn insisted on accompanying him the only problem was that the FBI were also monitoring the web site and didn't want the children rescuing until they could get to the head of the chain. Taryn's frustration was palpable, how could the FBI ignore children who were being beaten and maybe even worse.
This story follows Alex and Taryn assisted by Riff as they try to keep tabs on the children with the hope of a good outcome.
I love how the author implements all their psychic power and energy, I love how Terk and Levi combine forces to help, I love how Riff is disturbed by all the "woo woo" stuff and I love how Taryn and Alex gently fall in love. I now can't wait to read Royce's story.

Emotional and raw story, scary situation and high risks. I'd say this is fiction but things like this are happening more and more for real and in many ways books with these plots open our eyes, they also give clues for behaviour to watch for when out and about, even with people you know. It's not about the psychic abilities though of course they add to the suspense and intenseness of this story, abuse is all around us in some form or other. The actual characters involved here definitely made it a dark powerful read, and the connections between them all were quite unique and special. Lots of interaction and action, I was sucked straight in and it held my attention, I empathised with Cassie especially as I know how hard it is to lose your mum when young, how raw the pain is. Great chemistry, banter and trust, characters also had depth with back history for each. Happy climax to seal the deal.

Terkel sent Alex Togan to help on a case in Texas. After the mom passed away, the dad took off, and the uncle ended up with the three kids…and he had them up for sale on the dark web. The kind of case you want to run in and grab the kids…but that wouldn’t help. They needed to go by the book to put the man away for good.
Taryn was struggling to have to go by the book. She knew the mother and their good uncle, not the one that had them. His family had taken her in as she was a foster child. The problem was their uncle, her best friend, was recovering in England after he almost died after being captured on a mission. So, she had to be patient.
Excellent storyline, if not a bit tough, being it deals with child trafficking, and it held my attention from beginning to end.

Taryn is requesting help from Levi then Terk with rescuing 3 children she feels are in danger. Apparently the paternal uncle took the kids when their mom died and Taryn was afraid for them. She felt this uncle was going to take advantage of the children's gifts and would sell them. She was willing to buy them but feared interfering would put the kids in the added danger of an orphanage, she hesitated as she had gone the orphanage route and didn't want that for them. Since the maternal uncle was in Terk's care still recovering, it added to the problems as this Uncle Bruce was coming in and out of a coma, unaware of what was happening to the children. Terk sends Alex to help Taryn and this is their story. A nail biter at best, an adventure too. Difficult to put this book down till all is said and done!.

This is a exciting suspense filled psychic thriller that will leave you breathless.This story will pull you in from the very first page and keep you on the edge of your seats .The characters are captivating and the closeness of the psychics that work with Terk,are like one big family.As the story opens so will your heart for Taryan and her unyielding fight to save these three children from the evil of being sold into child trafficking.Her psychic gifts grow stronger than she ever dreamed possible as she teams up with Terks team Alex and Riff to rescue these children before its too late.It shows the unbelievable the red tape that the FBI goes through before even attempting to rescue these children.There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.I can hardly wait to see what's next by this multi talentedauthor.

Alex & Taryn

This story is intense from the very beginning. I appreciate the care and attention people show the urgency behind this situation. Children go missing or are being mistreated and rumor has it, they are being put on the black market to be sold into who knows what kind of horrible life.

Intense subject matter and heartbreaking to even think about, this story not only touches all the feels, but it hammers home just how vulnerable our children are in this world. There are some very sick individuals on this planet. Thank good ness there are those people, who in reality, advocate for our young people and not just in our authors’ imaginations.

Great story. I love how this author put this all together.

So heartbreaking when kids are involved

Alex and Taryn find themselves in the middle of one of the most frustrating and emotionally difficult cases that Terk and his team take on. I love seeing how hard Taryn fights for Cassie, Jack and John, I echo her frustrations with the FBI and their protocols, heart and head war as your heart is outraged but equally your head sees the need for those same protocols. It's a balancing act that breaks your heart as the kids are left in limbo.
I love the bond that Cassie forms with both Taryn and Alex, so beautiful in the middle of all the evil. And then there is Riff, once again an important part of the team, but still struggling for answers in his case, and still keeping himself apart from the team.

I really enjoyed reading Alex . This story is an outstanding suspense romance . The story is a twisted sad story but has a wonderful outcome . Taryn reached out for help through Levi and Ice to Terk . She needs the special help only his people can offer . A sister and her twin brothers are in danger and need rescued . The story pulled me in and I was on the edge hoping for a good ending I was not disappointed but it definitely was a bumpy ride . It is full of suspense and definitely intense .I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Alex is up next. Meeting his contact at a store, Taryn who needs help looking for 2 kids. Alex knows the kids uncle as he was rescued from Russia and Taryn know both the mother and uncle from a young age and heeds to reconnect the kids with their uncle after the death of their mother. Black market for sales of kids gets the team moving. A wide ride, friendships are built but will the kids get a chance at a better life with their uncle? And do Alex and Taryn get their chance at love and to join Terk's team as well?

Taryn has a special gift, and she is determined to rescue three children who also share the same gift. When she contacts Terk, Alex is sent to assist however she isn’t about to just stand by and is determined to assist in the rescue.

Alex shares this special gift as well and wants to help Taryn rescue these innocent children. There are so many obstacles to overcome as they try to rescue them before it is too late.

Alex and Taryn take us on an adventure that is filled with surprises, suspense and action and find love along the way.

Alex is asked to help a mutual friend save some children from a greedy family member. Taryn is an interesting character, she has strong mama bear instincts and will do anything to protect the children. Good Story, well-written.

Buckle up as it's all go from the beginning which I really enjoyed, being that this is about getting two children away from well an evil man had me even more invested that Alex and Taryn succeed, the fact he can give her his help and heart makes it even better. I love seeing the guardians family growing and how those who need it see what a safe family look like.

More psychic goings on, this time around three missing children. Likeable main characters, solid plotline. Just wish the style of writing wasn't so repetitive, with repeated use of the term by the characters like "And yet..." almost every time they discuss the issues they face; repeated paragraphs with essentially the same information presented, just slightly changing the words used.

I've begun to really dislike the word "yet"

Terk’s guys just get better! Alex is working with Taryn as they try to save three children who are involved in a trafficking situation. Their mom died, dad disappeared and the father’s brother is now involved and he is nasty. Taryn knows the mom’s brother and knows that he would want the kids. Unfortunately, he was in trouble in Russia and does not know about his niece and nephews trouble. This one has a lot of suspense!

Riff is getting a rough side to him along with his mysterious ways. Reading "woo woo stuff" always makes me laugh. This book is full of suspense as we try to figure things out as Alex and Taryn try to help 3 children. Some possible triggers with the children's situation but it doesn't go too deep.

Taryn is very passionate when it comes to children being in danger. She contacts Terk when she realizes she needs more help. Alex is used to helping out and feels an instant connection to Taryn. This was a very quick moving book with lots of edge of your seat action. Very good ending as well.

This is book 10 of Terk's Guardians by Dale Mayer, which is absolutely amazing. Taryn reached out for help when kids are in danger and need rescued they also have special abilities. Alex is used to helping out and feels an instant connection to Taryn. As Alex and Taryn try to get the kids back with Riff's help there's danger, suspense, drama enough to keep you on the edge of your seat.

I loved this book. It is one of my favorite in the series. It has emotional ups and downs plus a bit of humor. Alex and Taryn make a great couple. Cassie is a sweetheart and so strong. I loved seeing more of Riff and I can’t wait for his story.

There is plenty of suspense as Taryn and Alex tried to rescue three young children from a horrible situation. Turns out their Uncle Jeff does not have their best interests in mind, but they have to be careful about taking the kids away as she has no legal standing. There's lots of action and some twists before the HEA.

Absolutely amazing…when I finally read the last page, the house was dark, I was hungry, thirsty, needed to pee and my neck was stiff. But damn, it was worth it! As with any book by this fantastic author. Just loving this series and with every new book it just keeps getting better. One of my favourite series and definitely a re-read in the near future. Taryn is in dire need of help. Her best friend is unconscious with Terk and his teammates. She needs to get his sisters kids away from their uncle on their dad's side. He is trying to sell them to the highest bidder. Alex has been asked to help her. With the FBI getting involved the whole rescue almost doesn't happen.

Wow. Can’t believe we are on book 10 already. A great story from first to last page introducing us to a new character who agrees to Terk’s instruction for safeguarding someone worthwhile. I can’t wait for the next book.
