Small, Lily Poppy the Pony Fairy Animals of Misty Wood). CHAPTER BOOK. Henry Holt & Co., 2016. $5.99. Content: G.

Poppy would love nothing more than to make a friend, but she suffers from extreme shyness. When Poppy's mom makes her go off on her own one day, she discovers a kitten in need. Poppy's good deed leads to her making not one, but many friends.

Shyness is a topic that definitely needs to be addressed in books, and so I had a lot of hope for this one. Unfortunately, Poppy's sudden

The series, Fairy Animals of Misty Wood, is a huge success with readers in the 2nd-3rd grade classroom! These animals are caring, friendly, and set on overcoming their fears.

Poppy the Pony might be shy, but she is braver than she knows. When a thunderstorm brings fear to her friends on a picnic, Poppy comes up with an idea. Being brave in the midst of danger means you rely on a talent from within!

There are so many delightful bonuses within this series: adorable and entertaining illustrations,
About what you would expect. A little cheesy, but gentle and sweet. A student saw it on my desk today and got really excited. It was the demographic I expected, second grade girl. I don't know that I'll buy more, but I'll gladly add it to my collection.

In this book of the Fairy Animals series, Poppy the Pony overcomes her shyness to make friends. She does this by helping other animals with their problems. This is a sweet book, just right for beginning readers. Add to your collection, if you haven't already!

Poppy the Pony was magic and could fly because she is a fairy animal. When she was scared she found lots of friends more than 200 friends and her mum said 'oh my gosh, you've been busy.' In the hut of a hedgehog and squirrel they were both quite kind.

Each Fairy Animal had a job to do and Poppy the Pony was the one that flew up in the air to catch the snow drops and put them in the fountain for the cobweb kittens.

I liked the book because they can fly and they all have different jobs.
