This is a good juvenile biography of Cal Ripken, Jr.. It is easy to read and has some nice photographs. There is an index, a career statistics chart and a “where to write” page, with a real address as well as internet contacts.

I have always liked baseball but don't really know a lot about it. I learned a lot from this little book and I am sure kids will enjoy it. It is written cleanly and simply with a nice storyline that keeps the reader from becoming bored.

Thank you for the book Goodreads. This is a nice juvenile biography of Cal Ripken, Jr.. It is easy to read with photographs. There is an index, a career statistics chart and a “where to write” page, with a real address as well as internet contacts. Mr. Ripken’s life is written in a way that highlights his every accomplishment. After reading this I think he should not only be in the Baseball Hall of Fame but be nominated for Sainthood.
