Once Yuka could see the red string of fate, her romance with her long-time friend Kosuke bloomed! Things were slow at first, but now that they've had their first kiss. there's a steady and comfortable rhythm to their time together. But a beautiful woman has arrived to throw them out of sync. This stranger claims to be Kosuke's one true love, and the red string disappears from Yuka's sight! She's always believed in fate, but what will she do now that it's abandoned her?
I really like this series but the ending was somewhat unsatisfying. Yuka’s relationship gets tested a bit when a woman says she fated to be with Kosuke. The woman is beautiful and stylish so Yuka does not feel confident to tell her to stop. It all works out in the end for everyone but I feel like if a conflict like that is to be apart of the storyline, and the last volume at that, then it should have been its own arc and have the series extended. What I was hoping to happen with our almost side couple was turned into a bonus story instead of an actual chapter or two. 😑 That ending as well was 😑. It’s still a good series. I just wanted more out of the ending.

Starting an over the top rival "arc" in the final volume was a poor choice. Instead of quality relationship building, we check the rival trope box and waste time moving toward a rather bland finale. And we just started the side characters in the last volume, so we get no resolution there. This feels...empty. Not like an ending.
One star is for FL and her development as a character. Adding black haired girl to the story was totally pointless for me. Especially because this 'huge problem' was instantly solved and ML did not really show any agency.

Glad to have finally finished the series. The random love rival at the eleventh hour was not very entertaining; I wish it had focused more on the side couple instead.
"That's what he who doesn't believe in fate says" bruv I don't think we're okay. Hoshi-chan was so annoying, she seemed very egomaniac, because think about it, who is she to say who is fated for who?
