'Less is more' when it comes to the small molecule hydrogen peroxide - H2O2 - and the role it plays in maintaining health and fighting diseases. Discover how the miraculous healing agent works, why it's a 'natural' and 'bio-identical' substance, and it's multiple medical applications.
This book was a bit of a disappointment to me, as I had understood that hydrogen peroxide was an absolutely cure-all substance.
It turns out that taken orally it can do severe damage to the stomach, including cause cancer, in mice. The author believes that in a low dose the substance is safe for us humans to take orally, while another expert does not agree.
However, there has been success with hydrogen peroxide applied intravenously. But this must be done by doctors trained in the application of this therapy, and it doesn't always work. It can be beneficial in the treatment of all sorts of conditions. Among those mentioned are auto-immune diseases, hardening of the arteries, shingles, COPD and yeast and flu syndromes.
The book is extremely technical, much medical terminology being used.
Details of many cases are provided - some people obtain great relief, while in other cases no progress is made.
The book was published in the nineties, it being stated that work was being done to improve the application of the substance, and we would soon all hear of how fantastic it was. However, I haven't seen any more recent books declaring that this is the case, though these may exist.
I would recommend this book only to those severely afflicted who are quite desperate. They could perhaps be helped by the treatment. There is an out-of-date list of hydrogen peroxide practitioners, mostly residing in the USA, at the back of the book.
I picked this up because I had recently read some interesting info on food grade Hydrogen Peroxide. This didn't really answer my questions because the author really only recommends intravenous hydrogen peroxide use.
I was already aware of the oral and topical benefits of hydrogen peroxide (H202), but I had never heard of anyone injecting it into their bodies. That is primarily what this book is about--how many documented cases of "hopeless" conditions that were cured or helped by intravenous H202. Arthritis, cancer, candida, CFS, COPD, Lupus, MS and even AIDS have been treated successfully with hydrogen peroxide.
However, the AMA refuses to acknowledge the results of careful research of this oxygen therapy in the U.S. or abroad. Is it pride or greed that makes mainstream medical experts so reluctant to utilize this versatile, life-saving substance? When you consider that chemotherapy or hyperbaric treatment costs many thousands of dollars, while peroxide injections cost less than $100, I am inclined to think it's mostly the latter.
If you suffer from chronic illness or know someone else who does, get a copy of this book--or better yet, a newer edition by the same author. Find out for yourself what medicine's best-kept secret can do!
