This is a good book on a new style of quilling, at least new to me. I purchased it to learn. It has instructions for about 30 projects.

The instructions given are not very clear. In fact to do some of the pieces I needed to find a video to help explain. Also, paper sizes are not given at all. They give you a size for a backing paper but not for the strips used. There is also no instruction on gluing technique.

I enjoyed the book and have learned from it, but there could be so much more information included! Not recommended for beginners.

A very pretty visual of quilling. The pictures show different types of quilling shapes, but the book over all lacks instruction. Not for the beginner, because it does explain how to make the variety quilling shapes.

Fun craft. Might be something to take up during the COVID.

This book is awesomely beautiful, but much too involved for an adult program. Perhaps if I were going to be home for a week and wanted something to keep me busy during that time, I would be tempted to try it out then. But otherwise, this is pretty intense stuff.

This is a beautifully photographed book that shows how to create traditional Chinese images using paper quilling techniques. An overview provides information on Chinese design and imagery and on paper quilling techniques. A series of projects provide step by step instructions.

A totally different look at quilling! I found it inspiring, a bit intimidating, and a real feast for the eyes
