The information is a bit dated. Numerous examples of professional development for adjuncts in the community college setting were examined in this book. The critical theories of teaching adult students, learning in a technological environment and motivation of exemplary adjuncts were explicitly explained. The colleges that were highlighted and the references used are the well documented in the literature.
