This is a review of Heroines Every Child Should Know, compiled by HW Mabie. The Goodreads entry is a bit unclear, so hopefully this is the same text...

Pretty good compilation. Not quite as instantly compelling stylistically as Heroes Every Child Should Know, and far fewer heroines (??? why???) but the women covered are diverse and fascinating. Some of them were completely new to me.

Quite enjoyable in that "women sacrifice themselves for others" sort of way. But these aren't princesses... they are Mighty Girls, every one.
