I am happy to be reviewing Play It Smart! The Game Plan for a Happy & Confident Child. by Suzanne M Wind. I found this to be a very modern version of Miss Manners guide. I think this art of teaching our children these fundamentals has been forgotten but I am happy to see this book bringing them to light again. Social Skills, Mealtime Manners, the Art of Conversation, Restaurant Behavior and Technology Talk are the main focus points of the book. I like how this book teaches these life skills

This book is quite engaging and fun for both parent and child to do together. Being a mother I want to instill in my child's life how they will survive once they are out on their own. This teaching has to be taught while they are growing up, from how to talk to people, cook, clean, purchase products, to taking care of their finances. We can't teach them everything that will come along in their lives but we can give them a good head start to healthy adulthood.
