This book is very different from the first, which was necessary given the ending to the first. I hope readers will fall in love with Luke and Olivia even more :) And also, there is NO cliffhanger :)

Received an arc for an honest review...

After learning there was a cliffhanger at the end of the first book, I waited to get this one in my hands before reading. I'm so happy I waited to read both of them together!

After the first chapter and half of the second, I literally wanted to throw my iPad thru the wall! I did NOT want to keep reading! But I trudged on am I'm so happy I did!

To witness the true and complete love that Luke has for Olivia was liberating! I loved it.

The psycho ex, oh, if I

Captivating

A definite page turner and impossible to put down. It’s not often books can lead to some genuine tears, but this one sure did. It’s a roller coaster of emotion from page 1 and doesn’t let up. From Olivia’s captivity to her recovery and the gentle way Luke helps her through it. Such a great read.

If you have not read Pretty Little Lies then stop right here and go and read that one first. This is not a standalone and you will be missing some crucial parts to the story if don’t start from the beginning.

Oh holy hell I’m just speechless. Yep, Jennifer Miller got me good on this. What an unbelievable ending to a great love story. I’m completely blown away by her words. The emotions this book brought out in me. Gah!. I was completely all over the place on this one. There are mo

Livvie has been kidnapped by her psycho ex-husband Deacon. She has no idea where she is at, no idea how long she has been missing and no idea what Deacon has in store for her. Livvie has been kept drugged and in her brief moments of consciousness the only thing that keeps her going are her dreams of the future with her and Luke sitting together on a porch watching their children. Luke and Livvie finally found their way back to each other after 7 years, and Deacon is hel

When I picked up Pretty Little Lies last June I wasn’t expecting much but a few hours of reading enjoyment. This was the debut book for the author so I went into it with an open mind and just the hope that I would like it. I loved it, and got so much more from Ms. Miller’s writing then just a few hours of reading enjoyment. I ended up staying awake until 2 AM just trying to finish it. It was funny, it was moving, and it was sexy and sassy and

Before I go into this is a book if you haven’t read the first one in the series you need to STOP and go read it!! Right now, STOP and go read Pretty Little Lies because this is not a standalone and there are things you need to know.

“Love isn’t supposed to always be super easy – if it were, how would we grow to truly appreciate its beauty? How would we know how rare and special a love like we have is if we didn’t have the tough times to make us appreciate it?”

What an emotional book! Pretty Little Dreams is completely different from Pretty Little Lies, book #1 in the Pretty Little Lies series. Although it still had its super funny moments, it was a lot more serious since it deals with what happens to Olivia. My heart actually ached for her. I felt everything she went though and I couldn't imagine ever going through something like that in real life. She is one tough girl.

I am so happy that Olivia has Luke,

If you've read Pretty Little Lies, you will know that the story ends with Deacon entering Olivia's apartment and the reader doesn't know what happens next. Like most readers, when I read the ending I nearly screamed "WHAT?!?!?!"

SPOILER ALERT

In Pretty Little Dreams we learn of Olivia's fate, the torture and mistreatment that Deacon is putting her through, and what is happening at home in Chicago. Once Olivia is finally free, although she is free from her capture, she really is not okay. As much a

4 out of 5 stars

Olivia has been kidnapped by her psycho ex-husband. She is struggling to survive. Constantly being drugged and tortured, she has almost given up hope of being rescued.

Luke is going out of his mind with worry. He has finally gotten the love of his life Olivia back, and now she has been taken from him again. He is on the verge of breaking when he finally gets the news he has been

I must say I was more impressed with this book than the first one. The first was ok, good even, and I wasn't too sure what to expect with book 2. I was pleasantly surprised. All too often, book 2 doesn't quite live up to the first book in a series, but in my opinion, this one not only did that, but surpassed it as well.

You must read the first book to understand this one, book one is a cliffhanger, and this one picks up right where it left off. I loved reading 2 POV's with this book, both Olivia'

Oh my sweet baby Jesus in a manger, Jennifer Miller you have done it again. I absolutely adored this book and everything about it. Pretty Little Dreams is the conclusion to Olivia and Luke's story and my God it was a beautiful story. Jennifer takes you on a ride full of emotions from start to finish. You feel the pain each one of these characters feel in every moment. From spunky, full of life, Pyper. To the douchebag kidnapper himself, Deacon. This book was h

About the Writing: If you haven't read Pretty Little Lies series, you really don't know what you are missing. The truth is, although I loved Pretty Little Lies Book One and I have a passionate obsession with Luke, (Luke and Laura Forever) the author wrote a very polished sequel. You immediately take noticed that the author grew tremendously as a writer and was able to convey emotions without being too detailed of the surroundings or being overly in depth. She was able to give the reader just eno ...more

My review:

Pretty Little Dreams is the second book in the series and you definitely need to read the first book in order to understand what is going on. Since I had not read Pretty Little Lies, I did that and it ended with a huge cliffhanger.

Pretty Little Dreams is well-written and I liked how the author developed the characters and the story also became darker, deeper and more serious. I loved the writing!

It's written through 2 POVs and really liked reading the novel both from Olivia's and Luke

I am not sure I can put into words how much I loved this book. Watching the story of Olivia and Luke unfold is just beautiful. The love between these two characters is mesmerizing. I am not sure there is anything Luke would not do for Olivia, and trust me when you read this book you will see there is A LOT this man does for her. The struggles with Deacon add such depth to the story.I truly hate Deacon, but without him I am not sure this book would be as good as it is. I was holding my breath off ...more

Pretty Little Lies left off with a jaw dropping cliff hanger ending . Pretty Little Dreams is different from Pretty Little Lies, it is told from two points of view instead of one and it's a darker, more emotional read.

Pretty Little Dreams picks up weeks after the ending of Pretty Little Dreams; Olivia is still missing and Luke is in a dark place. Once Olivia is returned to her family, the story picks up quickly. Olivia just wants to forget anything happened and Luke and Pyper want Oliva to work

what another beautiful and heartfelt story this second book was, the author out
did herself again just like with book one Pretty Little Lies and wrote another fantastic story, one filled with passion, heart, love and a bond that is truly unbreakable, you feel every emotion each of the characters have to such a realness and not just Olivia's and Luke's but their family and friends as well., but it's their bond and history that takes hold of your heart and won't let go. Stunned! That was absolutely me at the end of Jennifer Miller’s debut novel Pretty Little Lies. A cliffhanger that I totally loved! Thankfully I didn’t have to wait too long to find out more about Olivia and Luke. I was immediately captivated by Pretty Little Dreams from the very beginning. I desperately wanted to know what would happen to this beautiful couple. Jennifer did a wonderful job of telling Olivia’s and Luke’s stories through alternating points of view for each chapter. It seems like I've been waiting forever for this sequel and I couldn't wait to find out what happened to Olivia since we last left her, those immortal and chilling words, "Hello Princess" kept going round in my head! I don't mind admitting that at first I was a bit afraid to start Pretty Little Dreams as, sometimes, the sequel isn't always what you imagine or hoped.
I can honestly say this sequel was WAY better than what I ever expected. I love, love,

Pretty Little Dreams is a great resolution to the heart stopping cliffhanger in Pretty Little Lies. Jennifer Miller writes such meaningful great characters. I was immediately sucked into the story and I literally experienced every emotion in the book. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest when Olivia was in trouble and my heart melted anytime Luke professed his love to her. If you think this story will be predictable or ordinary you are wrong. The sensitive issues that are addressed and ...more

I love the book; I like that it had, of course as in the first one romance, love & friendship, but also a little darkness. What happens to Olivia after she was kidnapped was something that can really happen in real life and like in real life not everyone makes out alive.
I fell in love with Luke even more. He is just an amazing character. It is for sure that Luke and Olivia were and are meant to be together, but will they be together? I am not giving away any spoilers, but all I'm saying is…

After reading Pretty little lies and loving it so much, I jumped right into this book and was I blown away! This book had a whole different feel to it. I loved how Jennifer miller switched from a happy somewhat care free read to a holy Omg read! We left Pretty little lies with a heart racing ended but I had no clue on the twisting effect it would lead us too!! You just have to read to know what I am talking about!!

After Olivia's traumatic life altering event things are shaking for both her & Luke. Olivia wants to forget and never talk about it and Luke won't leave her side. This book is about these two find their way through this horrible time. The threat is still out there which makes Luke overprotective driving Olivia crazy. Finally things come to a head and it's now the time to lay all the cards on the table and see if they can move forward. Some hot sex scenes. Fabulous ending.

it is unusual that you love the 2nd book more than the first.....this case would be different. The writing in this book was phenomenal.... I enjoyed the love story between Luke and Livvie...I literally laughed out loud during her "cooking" I also cried the way Luke loved ....never giving up on her.I am on pins and needles waiting for Pypers story.
