All I have to say is that M. Malone outdid herself with this one. I was absolutely blown away by Trent and Mara's story. It was sheer perfection. Every time I thought that I knew what was happening and where their story was going, she totally changed the course of the story on me. Yet, the story was masterfully told and so beautifully woven together. And the Epilogue in this one was absolute brilliance!!As the Alexander Family series has grown, each story has become more emotional, more engrossi ...more

Secrets, lies, and love don’t mix and that is what Trent Townsend brings to the relationship with Mara Simmons. Mara is the gorgeous twin to Matt. She is a no non-sense kinda girl. She calls a spade a spade. She has worked for everything she has including the home she lives in. She got help with the down payment from her brother, which Trent didn’t like?
Let me back up, you see Trent and Matt became roommates in college. One look at Mara and Trent was stunned and in love at first sight. He could

I wanted to love Say You Will because I really liked Mara and Trent when we met them in earlier books in The Alexanders series. Unfortunately, I walked away from this novel disappointed.

In this story, we learn Trent walked away from his uber-wealthy family and friends and has been living a pretend life all the years he’s been best buds with Matt and in love with Mara. Upon discovering his lies, Mara is much more understanding than most women would have been. She quits her job, moves to New York

From the beginning with Teasing Trent, Mara and Trent's attraction and love for each other has been very intriguing, exciting.... perfect. With the Alexander series these two have stuck around throughout each book but in Say You Will you finally get their whole story. Which is definitely far from perfect. Mara is such a strong character and is put to the ultimate test of keeping it together. I can always count on Minx to deliver the unexpected roller coaster of emotions, mystery and element of s ...more

M. Malone has done it again! You will never have a dull moment with this book. With each book you see the characters grow and her writing style just keeps getting better. We were first introduced to Mara & Trent in the novella, Teasing Trent. We’ve had a chance to see their relationship grow in the background of the other books in the series, but in Say You Will, OMG you see how things are not always what they seem. Trent has not only been living a lie since college but it’s starting to consume ...more

Trent he can overreact when his woman gets hurt, "Trent took one look at her hand and paled. He barreled past Penny, and grabbed her by the arm. "What did you do? What the hell did you do?" He pulled her against him and when he did, she could feel that he was trembling." He's also one aggressive man when it comes to his girl and naughty time, "tell me you're mine," he growled against her neck, the sound one of desperate longing." I loved Trent and Mara's story. Secrets, lies, forgiveness, and love all in one. Trent was going through so much that he couldn't even bring himself to tell Mara about it. She's been having doubts for a long time but what she thought it was, was not what she thought.... At all. Matt was a true big brother. I loved that. I really wanted to strangle Avery. She is very manipulative. After everything went down and Trent "introduced" himself to Mara again, I just thought it was sweet, even though she ...more

This is probably my favorite book by M.Malone and I love ALL of her books. I love how in Teasing Trent and throughout the series you see Mara and Trent's relationship and it appears to be perfect. This book goes to show how all relationships have issues even after that presumed happily ever after. This book is about unconditional love, over coming secrets, and learning to trust again. I love the added mystery that Minx added to this book. This book here just shows even more why Minx is my go to ...more

Oh my what a ride

Oh my what a ride

I spent the biggest portion of this book screaming and laughing and half in tears. No doubt this is one of the most intense, twisting and back tracking trips I have ever taken. My heart broke a dozen times. I was torn between loving Trent and hating him. Man what a ride that ended too soon and left me wanting more.
Minx never disappoints.

Another 5 Star book I loved it. Trent and Mara were made for each other i'm glad that they are getting their HEA. i want to choke Avery what she did to Trent,Mara,James and her own son. Now I can't wait to read Bennett's book. Great Job Minx you did it again!!!!!!!!!

The book itself was well written with nuanced characters but this book made me hate trent. He was a selfish dick who had a double life, he never stopped lying to mara or treating her like a possession. It’s unbelievable mara would get back with him, actually made me dislike her.

Good story with good characters and good writing. Not a lot of sex scenes which gave room for an actual plot and I liked it. I do think my two favorite characters were not seen all that much, but the sub characters were fantastic.

A Good Read!!!

This is a good story. It just moved a little slow for me. I love M’s style of writing and I recommend this book to all. This is a great series and I look forward to reading more. 👏👏👏

I have laughed, cried, gotten mad and fanned my self throughout the romantic journey of Mars and Trent. Can't wait to read the last one.

WOW!! This story has it all. Lies, Backstabbing, Betrayal, Passion.. Where do I begin??

I have never read a M. Malone book before so I came into this story not knowing what to expect but I am now a convert and am so going to download the previous books.

This was not my favorite Alexander book. To me, it started out weird and left a few holes. How does Trent lie all those years about his past and become someone so completely different without anyone knowing? If his father didn't have a heart attack would he have ever gone back? Once he is back, that's it? Carefree surf loving board shorts wearing Trent is gone? And the beginning it looks like her boss is flirting with her. And then all of a sudden she quits to move to New York and he i ...more

This is book five in the series and it is mostly dealing with Trent and Mara. Trent has a secret that Mara finds out about along with her brother who both had known and thought that they had known Trent for a long time. That is now all thrown out and Mara along with her brother and his friends don’t want anything to do with Trent. Words practically escape me... The Alexanders Series is positively sizzling. I have read all of the books in this series but Say You Will had me so emotional. I cannot even remember reading a book that had me crying as many times as I did reading this book. M. Malone writes steamy, sensual and hot stories.

Say You Will is a supremely, well-written story that keeps you guessing right up to the end. Just when you thought things were going to be okay between Trent and Mara, Ms. Malone throws in ano

At first, before I read this book, I was going to go back and read the previous novels in this series because I'm OCD like that and I didn't know if I needed info from these books to understand THIS book. But then I realized I'd never read a book by Ms Malone and that would have been quite an investment for an author I may or may not enjoy. So I went ahead and read this novel without any other background. And y

First of all, I should admit that I hadn't read the rest of the series when I picked up this book. I was hoping that it was one of those that can work as a standalone. And while it sort of does, I constantly had the feeling that I would have got a lot more enjoyment from it if I'd read the rest of the series.
Say You Will wasn't really that interesting to me, and it took me a while to figure out why - Trent is hot, there's some mystery and twists, Mara is perfectly likeable and there's a large c

I've got to say that I was really worried for Trent and Mara. I didn't know if she was going to be able to forgive and move past everything. Heck, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to.

M Malone has delivered such a great book here. We've got two character that you can't help but love. However you're given snippets of situations you can help but doubt that something is going on, something bad, and you just don't know what. And when the story unfolds, just wow. Twists I didn't expect. Betray

Trent and Mara started the series off in Teasing Trent, and they have been a couple ever since. But the journey this book took them on will have you going through so many emotions.
You always hear about Mara's parents, but you get to meet them finally in this book, along with Trent's family. I can't say whether that spins the book in a positive or a negative for the reader but it truly added a lot of insight into why the two were the way they are.

I loved how deep the story got and was mad where

Best in the Series

I really like this series about the Jackson brothers so I was a little wary of reading this book because I wanted to learn more about the elusive older brother Bennett.

But to my surprise, this book is my favorite! I think it was more romantic and I thought the plot was more intricate but also believable. The love between Mara & Trent was amazing and they both fought took and nail for their love to be sustained, even though it was hard and they had to overcome many obstacles.

This is a 6-star read! To me, this was by far the most emotional Alexander series book to date! Holy Sh!t! Grab your e-reader and a box of kleenex and hold on tight! Readers were "teased" with Mara and Trent's story at the beginning of this series. But, Minx decided their story wasn't finished, so out comes Say You Will. Trent is living a lie. Mara discovers his secret. It's explosive, dynamic, and so passionate. I laughed, cried, and almost threw my e-reader when Avery was in the scene. I was s ...more

This was a tough read for me; not because it was bad but because the emotions in this book were so real and even more raw. The fight Mara and Trent had to have in order to survive was unbelievable. They are truly an amazing couple; two people with more strength and will to fight than most.

The angst I felt in this book right from the prologue through to the last chapter was ridiculous. This book was nearly impossible to put down and when I had to put it down, I found myself playing out the possi

I waited a long time for Trent and Mara's story, ever since reading the prequel, and it was worth the wait. When Mara noticed changes in Trent's behavior and his frequent trips, she grew suspicious. After asking Eli Alexander to investigate him, she discovered secrets about him that made her question if she even knew who he really was.

Trent regretted keeping secrets from his fiancee, he was willing to do whatever it took to keep her from leaving him. Secrets w

I purchased purchased this book and was not disappointed. M. Malone has a way of drawing you in to a story from the first page and never letting go. Say You Will is Trent and Mara's story. It picks up from where Teasing Trent left off. Trent and Mara are now engaged. However Mara starts to wonder is Trent is being true in there relationship. She decides to investigate and gets more than she bargained for when she learns the truth. The truth causes her to question her relationship and if she ever ...more

Having read Mara and Trent's romance early on in the series, it was very nice going back to see how the couple were doing as they planned the wedding. I was not at all expecting trouble in paradise for our happy couple. The latest entry in the Alexander series shows that Trent has not only a past, but an entire other life that he has kept hidden from everyone. Not the best idea when there are private investigators in the family! This was another great read by Malone and I would love to see more ...more

This was a good read. I hated her reason for running away from him though. I really thought she'd get over it because it was a really weak deal breaker I think. At that point in the story, with the breakdown and Avery, the entire situation seemed forced. Even before that I was having a problem with connecting with Mara's reason for her to be so upset with him. I guess it didn't seem realistic. Other things could've caused them to drift apart. Like Avery, or Sophia even their social difference's ...more
