Chose this solely on the cover 😏
Tbh I skimmed a whole bunch of this. The writing felt so forced…….it was trying too damn hard to be dark. It just found it so damn irritating.

I enjoyed this book. I do think I am reading too many dark romance books because some of them are starting to feel very similar. I did find this book to be one that felt familiar with the plot, but it was different enough to keep my attention.
When "to be continued" showed up on my Kindle, I wanted to throw it across the room!!! Thats why I know I liked this book. I want more. I didn't know this was going to be a multi book series, but I'm here for it and will read the next.
My only issue is that I did not feel 100% connected to the Fallon. The book alludes to some of her past that made her the way she is, but I really wanted more. She is just as crazy as Camden. But Camden I felt we got to truly understand why he is the way he is (sort of...the leaving the dead bunny thing was uncalled for no matter how unhinged you are..lol but I get the reasoning for it) with Fallon I felt like that was missing. But maybe we will get more back story of her in the next fingers crossed.
Overall, I'd recommend for the dark romance with a hint of thriller and murder book lovers

I liked this book.
This one is for those that like short, dark and steamy romances with touch of thriller. (It's not way to dark (IMO) however make sure to check trigger warnings)
On one hand we have morally grey MMC who will do everything to protect FMC.
And on another strong FMC who gives of touch him and dıe energy.
If you like:
● dark romance
○ morally grey characters (yep, plural)
● badass FMC
○ crime family
● who did this to you?
○ touch him/her and dıe
● spice
○ fast paced
● instant attraction
○ forced proximity
... this one is for you.

I probably clicked something and didn't post whole review, and now I don't remember word for word what I wrote. However, from what i remember, there is a lot time jumps that got me confused because there is no separation between sentences. And one more thing characters while there are moments where they are great there are also moments where they got om my nerves with their decisions.

This is an amazing book with dark romance and thriller vibes. A strong MMC who has met his match with an equally strong FMC.
This is a must read! There is a ton of spicy parts and they 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ like the best way you want !

This book caught me off guard. I loved that the FMC is equally as strong as the MMC. I really enjoyed her holding her own. The spice was WOW! It wasn’t overwhelming, it was just the right amount. It did have some taboo themes. So please read the trigger warnings. The plot was really good. It wasn’t just a smut book with no plot. The ending though!! Chefs Kiss!!! Can’t wait for the next book!

I don’t know if my brain can put together enough words to describe this book!!
Firstly… This Male Main Character, Camden, was absolutely amazing!! He was just unhinged enough and I loved his possessive demeanor towards Fallon.
I really enjoyed his absolute ability to dominate yet still be protective.
I loved the spice!! Oh it was so spicy and so hot!! Some of the best spice I have read thus far.
I liked how this book sent me on a complete spiral. I went from “oh no, you didn’t just do that!” to “YES!! Do it again!” in 2.5 seconds. It was such a roller coaster and I was there for it.
Some of the scenes are very graphic so make sure to read your triggers.
The plot was so intriguing. It had some real suspense and action packed moments and the author really did put a lot of thought into it.
It really made my jaw drop at the end and I can’t wait for the next book.

I feel so conflicted about this book! Like I couldn't put the book down, but I'm also disturbed by everything that happened. It's like this weird train wreck you want to look away, but you just have to know what happens. The way she writes is so alluring and descriptive. Her words brought the pages to life for me. The writing brought forth so much emotion and heart-pounding anxiety. I can't wait until the next book to see what happens in this story! Please read the trigger warnings, there are alot!

If you are looking for a dark romance, BDSM, Step brother troupe, and billionaire troupe, this is the book for you! It has an amazing intro and trigger warnings page! It had me hooked and I finished it in 2 days. Which is fast for me! It was a great book there are a few points that could have been written a little differently, but I do not regret reading it! I Definity think you should give it a try!

I loved this book! I love when a book has a strong MFC which this does and she has met her match with MMC or he has met his match. If you love a dark steamy romance with touch him and 💀yep then this is for you! I absolutely loved these characters and I cannot wait for the next book! Did I mention it’s steamy because oh yeah it’s spicy 🥵 it’s a quick read as well! It is a duet so it ends with you wanting and needing more! Please read trigger warnings at the beginning of the book!

I really enjoyed this book. Camden has met his match with Fallon who is equally strong and a psychopath! It did leave me wanting more! Can’t wait for the next book!

Camden and Fallon. Fallon's mum marries Camden's dad. Fallon slowly learns about the business her mother's marriage has pulled her into. As well as a psycho step brother who is trying to get her to run.
This book wasn't bad, but it took me a while to get through for a short book. Some bits were really gripping, while other parts felt lacking. But loved the levels of f**ked up that's included.
Would recommend to someone who enjoys the dark romance genre, but others may find it difficult to read.

This book !!! Where do I start with this book!
If you’re looking for a dark spicy romance then this is your book!!
It got me hooked line and sinker! It follows Fallon who’s mom has had many bf but has found a new one who has money so they move to be with the new bf. Who also has a son, so Fallon now has a step brother.
But is this just another rush bf for her mom to go through or is there more to this man behind the money?
Is there more to the step brother or is her just another psycho living in daddy rich life or is her just a pawn in daddy’s game!
If you’re looking for an unhinged FMC and an unhinged MMC who are just unhinged together but are made for eachother in the crazy world they are in then this book is for you !!

Fast paced with great Segsual Suspense
A surprise read. That I found throughly entertaining for sexually-explicit-literature
providing smut with plot. Explicit with a strong core that earths the two mcs attraction.
This book doesnt just deliver the alpha possessive male, but brings forth the equally powerful female equivalent .
Great on page no holds barred hotly charged menace with very spicy satisfying connections.
yes, I would read more from this author,as she can deliver on the suspense & thriller writing style with a great burst of OTT.
& I loved that the characters were 25 and 35 - so much more interesting.
I need this author to consider writing a vampire romance. now with this dark mafia vibe.

What did I just read? It started well following Fallon story then the transition more the lack of transition into introducing Camden was random. It would have been better to continue and know more about Fallon at the beginning. Just when you start to feel that connection with her you randomly now see Camden. I had to re-read that part to make sure it was not me that missed something. As the story progresses it feels rushed. It would have been better to know more about Camden as he is mentioned in the book instead of just a brief explanation. Yes, these two main characters are made for each other and are just as twisted and will burn the world for each other. It was a nice surprise to see how their fate was sealed from early childhood. I feel one of the characters was cut out too soon. The spice was decent. This book does leave off on a cliffhanger. It has potential to be great it just needs better transitioning between situations, not be rushed and have more explanations and details on the main characters backgrounds. I was bombed this turned out how it did since the authors previous work was amazing. I will still read book two in hopes of it being better.

This book started off really good and I was intrigued but as it went on I felt like it was dragging.. I definitely feel like I forced myself to finish it. The character development was good don't get me wrong I just feel like the plot of the story got abit lost on me by the end of it.
This is a dark romance so please check your triggers if you wish to dive in... it also involves stepbrother and sister so if that is not your vibe then I wouldn't recommend... I will probably not continue on with this as it is a duet and personally I didn't enjoy it the whole way through but please don't let that determine whether you continue as somethings are not for everybody ❤️❤️. I gave three stars as even tho I didn't enjoy the whole book the spice was good when it happened I would say a medium burn 🌶🌶🌶 three chilly spices for me.

WOAH this book took me by surprise. I'm not one for dark romance, but I couldn't put this down! Badass FMC? Check. Touch (them) and you die? Double check. Forced proximity? Triple check. LOVED.
