I used this in my green/growing storytime this week. I like the concept and the illustrations/text worked overall, but it's really difficult to share this book with someone, let along with a big group. As the image suggests, it works more as a lap book, but it's more appealing for younger audiences that aren't up to that level of reading on their own. I'm conflicted.

For: frog/nature storytimes (though it did also work well with this theme); readers looking for a book in a different format.

Possible red flags: not meant for large groups.

Lyrical text follows the life cycle of tadpoles from egg to frog.

Cool interlocking pages really make this book special. Paper collage art shows each life stage clearly.

A little small, but otherwise fun for a toddler story time!

Text is for a very young child, but the layout/pages are interlocking and not made for that audience.
