Tiny Explorer

Rate this book
Amanda is just a tad resentful of her parents for moving the family to a small-scale town. Imagine her surprise when she discovers this quiet settlement has something intriguing to offer… in the form of a miniature person!

Mina is always on the lookout for a new adventure, so when giants move into the nearby house that has been uninhabited for a decade and her grandpa starts grumbling about rediscovering a ‘Querencian City,’ she jumps at the opportunity to explore the forest in search of this mysterious metropolis.

Persuaded by Mina, and to satisfy her own desire for something besides the move to focus on, Amanda agrees to join in the adventure to find Querencian City. When the girls locate the city, they are beyond thrilled – but everything crumbles from there. Mina and Amanda are bound for more than they bargained for when they take on navigating an unfamiliar city and battling a government that isn’t keen on giants. Their goal had been ‘Find the home city,’ but now the only thought on their minds is “How do we get home?”

So proud of my writing bestie Paige, who wrote ANOTHER cool book!! If you like the idea of tiny people, heists, and teenagers with wild plans, you should read this book 😌

I would have liked to see just a tiny bit more of the plot thread that pops up near the end, but who cares actually bc I had a fun time reading this and Mina is my favorite character and Cephas is so funny (he doesn’t say funny things, I just think he’s funny) and bread was mentioned at least once. Huzzah!
