While this is an older book it is filled with good noteworthy suggestions, I've heard a lot of them before. An easy read worth spending time with.

This book includes all of the basics that a salesperson should know and likely does not utilize. The topics are very simple, but I know a lot of salespeople and most do not do what the book aptly suggests. This is the type of book where I envision people saying "I know that," but does not then ask themselves, "How good am at at that?." Or, "Do I do that?" I have a read over 15 sales books and this would be the first book I would read if I were looking at a shelf of sales books.

Eh. Not nearly as good as Tom Hopkins' other books. This one is also rather pedantic unless you're brand new into sales. The book is as if you're going through a sales training at a new job. Still has great info, just could have been 1/4 the size!

I thought this book was great. I read it over the weekend (it's a very quick and easy read) and was thoroughly inspired. I'd love to get a copy for every member of my sales team.
