I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

After reading For the Night, Luna #1 I was super excited to read What he Desires!! The first book leaves off with a cliff-hanger so I was anxious to find out what happens next! We pick up where we left off as Jocelyn is still figuring out what to do with Tobias’s proposal. Violet Haze does a great job of balancing great sex scenes and just the right amount of humour. I really enjoyed the progression in Jocelyn and Tobias’s relationship, from pure lust into tenderness and affection. With an added paranormal element this story is really getting exciting and I can’t wait to find out what happens next! I am really looking forward to the conclusion All Our Lives in March!!

I got this book from the author for an honest review. It is the second in a series, so if you haven't read the first get it now. Luna has been found out, Tobias knew who she was from the beginning. Faced with a huge proposition Jocelyn has a choice to make lose the diner or her heart. I loved this story and can not wait for the next part!

Jocelyn reluctantly accepts Tobias' proposal but she does with her own style. I love that she refuses to be a push over and works to maintain her independence even as Tobias is pushing back just as hard. The connection/interactions between the two are steamy and fun all at the same. Jocelyn is introduced to Tobias' family which is overwhelming to her but yet feeds something in her soul that I don't think she realizes she is missing. Violet Haze has given us an interesting twist in this tale with dreams of past lives that Jocelyn seems to be reliving/remembering. I am very intrigued to see how this plays out for her and Tobias as they move forward. I will say that Tobias is still very mysterious to me so I'm anxiously awaiting part 3 to see where these two are headed next.

Wow, I knew there were paranormal elements being introduced into the 2nd book but I was totally surprised by the actual direction that this story took. There is more of the witty humor and awesome sex that I've come to expect from the author and she seriously does not disappoint. (I love the Oompa Loompas!! HAHA) I enjoyed this book more than the first and now I'm anxiously awaiting #3. If these first 2 in the series are any indication as to how great #3 will be then you will want to make sure you get them read so you'll be ready to continue too! Ms. Haze has a fan for life!

I really enjoyed this... a simple 'compromise' becomes much more as a very dark past comes to haunt Jocelyn... little things are setting off memories and bringing traumatizing dreams about. I expected my assumptions to be right, and for this to be very cut and dry, it's definitely not. I highly recommend this

I loved the premise behind this story. Read and loved the first one (For the Night) and so excited with the path What He Desires is taking us on. Violet Haze has weaved so much intrigue into the second installment that I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the conclusion!

Such good writing again, loved the characters. I would have liked to have it all in one story though. But still super duper

A proposal she can't say no to if she wants to save her diner. After finding out more about Tobias than she thought she'd ever want to know Jocelyn realizes there's even more she doesn't know about this mysterious man. In this addition to the series we see just how far Jocelyn is willing to go to save her diner and we also see the beginings of a new mystery.

There is allot of funny times in here and allot of steamy scenes but those in addition to a bizare mystery presenting itself to Joceyln are what really draw you into continuing this series. I loved the interactions between the two main characters, but also seeing more of Tobias and his life byond what we knew from the first book. Oh and don't be afraid to say Oumpa Lumpa! ;)

Luna is stubborn, but she is without the resources to stick to her guns. Tobias has the money to get what he wants(and his sex appeal helps), but is Luna what he truly desires?

I enjoyed the smart-assed comments, as the pair's relationship developed... "The universe can suck my imaginary dick." Just a delightful example. :D I loved how their story was coming together, then it took a sudden turn for the paranormal and I felt a little derailed. Despite that, I'm curious to see where this story is heading. It's definitely worth a read.

gracious!!! These books are great! I am really loving the characters. I have a rule to not buy short stories but I will have to reconsider it.
I really love Violet's writing. these books are really hot! I still have to say I really wish they we were longer. with writing this good I hate for it to end so soon. I was given this book for a honest review and my only complaint is I wish they were longer.

I find it enjoyable but something in me is waiting for the shoe to drop. You know how everything seems to good to be true. This wonderfully wealthy man just happens to appear right when she needs him to solve her problems and save the day...Jump into a situation with a woman terrified of breaking her rules, which I really want the backstory on why those were in place to begin with, to fall so deeply so fast. I am in anticipation for what the next installment brings. Can't wait to read it

Wow...i have to say i do love short stories that are funny, sexy and hot as hell.

and i love them more when they are getting unexpected turns.
i really thought this series would be a boy meets girl girl meets boy kind of thing (with which i am tottally fine) but i didn't expect the turn this story is taking and i have to say it caught me off guard and i was happily suprised!

A trilogy you will surely enjoy!

I love this series and Violets writing style.

This story carries on from the first book (For the night Luna 1) so read that one first.
Tobias knew who jocelyn/luna was all along so he makes her an offer she can't refuse especially if she wants to save her dinner. Jocelyn finds out there's alot more to Tobias. There's also a mystery unravelling making me want to read the next book. The story just grips you and you got to know what happens next.

Violet hits it out of the park again.

I love how the relationship between Jocelyn and Tobias has progressed, and at a rate quicker than thought. However, there are some things that arise in this book that sets up the finale perfectly.

I can't wait to read the thrilling conclusion of the Luna trilogy.

Wow I cannot believe how wonderful this book is. I so did not expect the way it turned out. It has completely pulled me in. I was a little confused with the dreams at first but now I know the meanings and I am one to believe in past lives so it is interesting to see. I love the book and hope Toby and Joce get to live a happy and wonderful life together. Can't wait to see what happens in book 3.

Breaking All Her Rules

This series must be read in order. The first book is For The Night (Luna Book 1). This is the second book.

When she has sex it is as Luna and then only ever one night with ANY guy... EVER! So how is is it that she finds herself found out as Joce the diner owner?! She has been Sooo careful! And now he wants her to not only sleep with him again but to MARRY him?! How did she end up in this situation? And why is he so adamant that they marry? Should she just give in?

Tobias play his cards close to his vest. He has a plan and no one will ever figure it out until he is ready for them to! He will have Joce for his own and nothing and no one will stand in his way... Not even her. Can he pull this off? Will she say yes?

This awesome novella explains a lot of the mysteries from the first while bringing to light more mysteries in the process. The supernatural elements are finally revealed (instead of just hinted at) adding another layer of depth to the story. I can't wait to find out what surprises are in store for the next installment All Our Lives (Luna Book 3)!

***This series is suitable for adult readers only

This is the second book in the series and I enjoyed this book better than the first. I like the interaction between Tobias and Jocelyn as well as the introduction of his family when they meet Jocelyn for the first time. This time the author added a twist to set the story apart from similar stories where a rich man saves women in financial need in exchange for her body. Yet there was something familiar in her twist that made me believe I have read it before. Still if the plot was similar there were enough differences to let the story stand on its own merit. Still not happy with how short the book was but since this was given free in exchange for a my honest review I will not complain. However I still believe for the price there are other works out there that contain more pages and a complete story for the same amount of money. For this reason I did not give her a higher rating.

Say what? Big plot twist in this one I totally did not see coming- and it just made the story even better! When we left Jocelyn she was in the midst of losing the one thing in her life she really cares about; her fathers diner. With no one to turn to for help, she can hardly refuse when Tobias offers help. Problem is that help comes with a price...

Will Jocelyn be able to strike and fulfill her part of the bargain? What exactly is it going to cost her? I do wonder why Tobias is so willing to just throw money her way but when that plot twist comes into play it gives me a better feel of why. Although I still have to wonder if she is making a deal with the devil himself. I do love the banter between the two main characters and Jocelyn's besties who are also her roomies are a nice addition to the story as well. Off to the next one!!

Love love love the chemistry between Tobias and Jocelyn; yes he's an alpha Dom, but the way he's written is realistic, with realistic dialogue you'd hear every day, not that corny cheesy stuff I've read in other books. Tobias has offered to save Joce's diner on one condition, and of course she's against it, but eventually goes along with the arrangement. But as we get further along in the story, strange things are happening to Joce that she can't understand or explain. And that is what makes this novella more than what you'd expect: you get the mind-blowing sex, the confusion and reluctant acceptance on Joce's part, but add to that past lives and you get one intense story.

Glad I found this series, but slightly pissed that I still gotta wait a week for the last book lol.
