Like the companion volume "In Praise of Olympus," this is a lovely volume of prayers to the Theoi that I have enjoyed. Devotion is a large part of my practice, and I do my best to keep sacred the days of the Hellenic lunar month and its accompanying hymn cycle. Most Hellenic polytheists rely heavily on the Orphic Hymns and the Homeric Hymns, but having a modern-day alternative to reach for is wonderful and helps to keep the sacred spontaneous. These are also very inspiring, and have moved me to try my hand at writing a few hymns of my own.

This was a beautiful collection of hymns. I was pleasantly surprised at how many hymns there were and that there were hymns for more than just the Olympians. The hymns themselves were really beautiful. I plan on using them in my own practice and have even been inspired to try my hand at writing my own.
