Very short (only one sentence per page)- and uber hilarious! Great for use as a lesson in prediction, emotions, or even sharing! Ghost Eats it All is a must read for your young reader!

This picture book contains super simple text and cute brightly colored illustrations. At a Halloween party, Ghost eats a variety of foods, which are then visible through his transparent body, before being scared away by Frankenstein's monster.
Ghost Eats It All! would be a good non-scary Halloween selection, which might also appeal to anti-Halloween parents as the word "Halloween" is never mentioned.

Funny, simple ghost story that little kids (toddlers and up) can enjoy. Not the least scary . . . ghost eats things which become visible in his semi transparent stomach. Surprise ending!

Found this in our Halloween stuff and don't remember receiving it. Must have been last year's clearance from Mom. I laughed out loud when I read it. I enjoyed it so much I had to share it with my junior high students!

Mostly about eating candy and sweets. Then a monster gets mad, chases the ghost away, and proceeds to eat the same food as the ghost because apparently ghosts don't really digest food. The monster isn't nice, the ghost doesn't share, and it's all weird and gross.

Ghost is not sharing any food with monster, so monster scares the food right out of ghost. He then proceeds to eat it while ghost watches from outside the window. Monster definitely gets his payback, I'm not sure the lesson is clear and the premise is a little disturbing. It is a Halloween book though!

I would place this book somewhere in the one-and-a-half to two-star range.
The humor of Janee Trasler is surprisingly fresh for a book of such brevity, and the construction of this pithy story is really very appealing. "Ghost Eats It All!" is a fun, enjoyable read, and I would recommend it.

Not much longer than a greeting card, but totally funny. My 3 1/2 year old can't get enough of this book and that's enough for me to rate it 5 stars. I'd even recommend it for teaching emotions and prediction skills for early literacy learning.
