In Crazy, Sexy Love by Edie Ramer, Sam and Callie have loved each other since they were 4 years old when Sam proposed and Callie said yes.

But by the age of 6, Sam decided he would never be good enough for Callie and their young relationship broke up. Even at the age of 6 Callie was devastated. She had no idea why Sam didn't want to be with her, and at the age of 6 she was heartbroken.

Fast forward with brief glimpses of Sam and Callie (with little interaction with each other) as they grew up to the adults they are today. Sam is doing what makes him feel whole - he is the drummer in a band that is always on the road and has just won their first Grammy. Callie is a librarian in her home town, close to family and friends. Neither of them has ever found someone who measures up to what Sam and Callie have always felt for each other, even if their times together were brief and years ago.

When Sam arrives back in town for a visit after the Grammy's, the magnetic pull they feel to each other - impossible to resist - makes them feel like they are whole again. The chemistry between them is incredible and they don't waste time or play games. Their love for each other is true, but can they have any kind of relationship when Sam is always on the road? And with a crazy stalker on the loose, Sam is worried for Callie's safety if she is associated with him. Does their love stand a chance? Is their love the kind that will stand the test of time and circumstances? Will their first love be their forever love after all?

In Crazy, Sexy Love, Edie gives us a heartfelt romance that was love from the moment 4 year old Sam heard Callie's musical laughter. I love how Edie starts Crazy, Sexy Love with Sam and Callie's persepectives as children, and she moves on from there. It was a lot of fun reading about what love means to a couple of 4 year olds! Edie takes us to different times of their lives so we get a good background on both Sam and Callie - making Crazy, Sexy Love flow off the pages, easy to follow and understand what's happening.

The evolution of Sam and Callie's relationship was both fun and serious, but definitely hot! They are both great characters that are easy to like. They are honest people with strong family ties, and they both have a strong sense of self. They didn't rely on each other but instead complemented each other. I liked the maturity of their characters.

As with Edie's other books, there are animals in Crazy, Sexy Love that will pull at your heart strings too, and how Edie plays out the animal parts in this is so unique and fantastic! You will be surprised in the best possible way!

Crazy, Sexy Love is a romance with a touch of suspense (just enough to make the reader a bit nervous!) and characters you won't want to leave! I highly recommend Crazy, Sexy Love to any romance reader.

Welcome back to Angel Lake and Sam Krushing and Callie Ryan's story. Same is a musical prodigy who fell in love with Callie when they were only four years old and broke her heart when they were six. Through the years each never forgot their first love. On prom night they meet when each is at a crossroad of their life. Sam is leaving the next day to follow is dream of a career in music and Callie is off to college in the fall to follow her love of books and become a librarian. A world Sam, with dyslexia, can not share. Feeling he s still not worthy of her they part after one night together.

On his journey in his rise to fame in the music world he picks up a stalker who grows more violent and unstable with each passing day. Until the stalker breaks the law, Sam is on his own. Taking a break after winning their first Grammy Sam and childhood friend Rick return to his home. While playing in his parents bar for fun Callie walks in, but she is not alone. Trying to move on and settle into a future with a man she knows she does not truly love Callie sees Sam and knows she can not settle for good enough. When things get violent for Callie a small black ninja cat says the day and then Sam is there. Maybe their time has finally come. Yet the danger is closer than they are ready for. Will their love and a ninja cat be enough to save them from the stalker who is determined to have Sam for herself.

What do you do with a love that last over 20 years before you even make it to yourself that it is real and will not fade. Two souls with nothing in common except a love that developed in their hearts when they were just four years old. Time and distance could not destroy it but perhaps a stalker would end it forever. From start to finish Edie Ramer takes her reader on a journey that they will never forget. She uses emotions and words to draw you in until you can not put the book down. From her first book, which I read two years ago, to this her latest Edie Ramer has never failed to deliver a book that stimulates the mind and heart. I look forward to whatever Ms. Ramer has to offer in the future.

To show her love of animals Edie Ramer gives 25 cents from every CRAZY SEXY LOVE book sold will go to the Washington County Humane Society in Wisconsin. Showing us that the animals written about in her books are more than background characters. They are ambassadors of goodwill. Representing all animals in need of good loving forever families.

Cute!! Sam and Callie fell in love when they were 4 years old and they never stopped. Even when Sam broke up with her when they were 6 because he thought she could do better than being with the boy who had dyslexia; she still secretly LOVED him. Fast forward 12 years to their HS graduation party, when they reconnect and discover that they still have feelings for each other; but they each have different plans for the next 4 years; though they stay in constant contact and visit. Callie goes off to college. While Sam and his band head to Nashville to try to make it big in the blues/country music industry. Five years later, Sam makes hit, big time, earns a Grammy award for a song he wrote about Callie. Success is good to him and Callie (who is now living in Tennessee) and the band, also earning Sam a crazy female stalker too!!

As the 2 lovers plan their future, the stalker turns her attention to Callie, in hope of removing her permanently.

The third book in the Rescued Hearts series by Edie Ramer was just as wonderful as my introduction to her writing with the second in the series. Using a curious mix of animal POV and characters who are bruised but ever-searching, the sweetness and heart in this story just shine through.

Early on the story is a series of past vignettes: we first meet Sam and Callie when they are four years old: that first love was all consuming, and lasted until at 6, Sam broke Callie’s heart (and his own) when he feared his dyslexia prevented him from being ‘enough’ for her. Flash forward to a graduation dance: Callie is struggling with her mother’s MS diagnosis and trying to ignore the broken heart as she pours all of her love into her parents and her dog Magic. Sam is leaving to try and break into the music business, and the two have a night together that both reinforces their undying love and is utterly heartbreaking and poignant.

These two are destined for one another: love found them at 4 and won’t release her grip. Sam is now semi-famous with his band, and has won a Grammy based on a song that was all about Callie, and they manage to reconnect again. Saved from an abusive boyfriend by a wandering cat who was searching for her own special love, Callie takes Mojo in, and starts to consider a possible future with Sam.

But there are a few kinks in the works: Callie doesn’t feel that she can leave her job or her mother, and she is afraid that Sam’s fame will leave her on the outside. Sam is most concerned for Callie’s safety – a stalker had been threatening and harming fans who had gotten ‘too close’ and although it seems as if that situation is settled, he is still worried. Yet these two never do seem to be able to ignore the love between them, and the enjoyment that they have in being together.

Populated with characters that you can’t help but enjoy, the start of the book is just adorable and the emotions are so close to the surface you can touch them. While I didn’t find the discovery of the stalker as a great surprise, the twists to get to that point, and the growing confidence in both Sam and Callie’s characters as they settle into a real relationship as cheered on by their parents and Callie’s cat Mojo was interesting to watch and made this a page turner. You want to cheer for them, and see them find happiness: and the easy friendship offered to Callie by Justen, and the growth of Callie’s confidence in working with her on song lyrics was a nice addition to the plot.

As I have come to expect: Ramer’s writing is easy to follow and doesn’t present great challenges to seeing the characters or the emotion. The inset of animal POV, detailing that unique perspective that pet owners always believe is running through their little fur-clad heads and putting it into the story as a plot point, adds to the story in ways that please everyone: even those who aren’t particularly fond of pets. This is a fun, light and happy ever after story that screams love to one and all.

I received an eBook copy of the title for purpose of honest review for The Jeep Diva. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

Some loves are not perfect.
Perhaps the best loves have to be earned over time.
The best love stories are those that go the distance and
this one certainly does, both over time and geographically.

Sam felt love and happiness the first time he heard Callie's voice.
He didn't even see her but his life was changed.
He knew she was the woman for him but eventually did not feel he was good enough for her.

Besides the love story in this book, there are lessons about finding yourself, your talents, your passions and being happy with who you are.
A lesson about not needing another person to complete your life, but appreciating when you meet a person who makes your life whole.

It is a love story about coming home. The love is not just between one man and one woman. There is love within families and communities and between friends. There is an extra bit of information at the end that made me enjoy this story even more.

This book also has suspense and mystery along with the romance.
I would recommed this to all who like romances, small town stories, stories about bands, and cozy mystery readers.

I was gifted a copy but this is my honest opinion.

Crazy Sexy Love
Rescued Hearts Series Book Three
Sam Krushing fell in love after hearing a girl’s laughter. He was all of four years old. At six, he broke her heart. And his. He took a cowards way out and would have to live with it for the rest of his life. At least he had his music.

Callie Ryan fell in love and had her heart broken early in life. Thanks to her mother being wise, she helped Callie feel better by getting her a dog to love. Magic never completely replaced Sam, but it helped her to love him. And Sam had his music, his first love.

I found this story to be intense at times as you go through the years with these characters. You follow these two from age four to twenty-seven. Sam’s pride ruled him at an early age and his fear of rejection had him making a bad choice. His love of music and the road to fame kept him choosing his career over love. And then there were the stalkers. Great story!

I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet and tender contemporary romance between Sam Krushing and Callie Ryan. They were both great characters, and I loved them together. Their romance began with they were each four years old, and there was never really anyone else for either of them. Sam broke Calie's heart when he pushed her away and had little to do with her the rest of their growing up years. When he comes to town years later as the drummer in a successful band, they have a second chance. This touching story has a wonderful romance and a little suspense. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for providing an ARC in return for an honest review.

I found this book to be a cute read. As young kids Sam and Callie loved each other. They knew they were meant to be, so much so that Sam proposed to Callie at the age of 4. As time passes Sam thinks he just isn't good enough for Callie and breaks her heart.

Even though time passes a love like that isn't so easy to let go. I was glad to see that the love Sam and Callie had towards each other was able to come through and they could be happy together. I also loved the incorporation of the love for a pet that heals your heart and is so strong that even death cannot separate you.

I loved Callie and Sam's story. Also one of the few books I have read where the male lead has a sort of "problem". Felt very real in terms of him and the way he was in school with the problems he had with reading. Also to k now that even as an adult they didn't magically go away. Even though Sam felt he wasn't good enough for her she never truely gave him up. Also i loved the ninja kitty that tried to protect callie. Animals are a persons best friend and tend to be there when others are not. Great need. Next have to find the first two books for the series.

*Thanks Librarything for a free read in exchange for a review*
Very nice contemporary romance, that is well written. The cover and title was okay, didn't really catch my eye until after reading the synopsis. Character development was nice but predictable which lowered my overall rating. World building was good, loved the the inclusion of the hardships of dealing with a loved one with MS, heartfelt. Overall entertainment value was four stars, it didn't really suck me in hard but it was a light and easy read to get into.

Awwwwww what a sweet read. Crazy Sexy Love is a wonderful story about true love. Recognizing it early in life and then to have fate throw them together at unfortunate times in their lives but neither of them letting go Callie and Sam finally let go long enough to give their love a chance. My fav character Magic/Mojo. I really enjoyed the perspective from which it was written. What a hero(ine)! Definitely going to read the other books in this series.

Okay I have to say I loved this book. It was not only sweet in a cute way but Edie Ramer shined in this book. Callie is your average woman just wanting the perfect love she found years ago. Sam knows that music will always come first and yet Callie is making it difficult for him. Love comes in many forms and have to say in this one not only was it funny, sweet, sexy but true love in every chapter showed between these two. Loved it.

*I received this arc for an honest

I really enjoyed reading this book! It was very cute. It's a great light read for anyone who is interested.

It was very simplistic though, and the writing came off as a little amateurish, but overall I think this was a great romance read.

Cute love story. Predictable, but enjoyable. Can easily relate to characters. Love the reference to her laughter being like sunshine throughout their story - from the beginning to the end.
