This one wasn’t for me. I wish we had more background with Dahlia, Crew, and Vance growing up. It all felt very rushed. I know it’s a novella, but if we even had another page or two of background on the three of them it would’ve helped me understand the obsession and longing.
Also, I love a good mafia dark romance, but I wish the mafia ties were mentioned before a clean up team or expensive cars. It felt like an afterthought.

This novella was amazing! Not only was it spicy but it keeps you guessing the whole way through! I can’t wait for the next book to come out so I can find out what happens next!

I...I...I just can't even right now. This review is going to take me a hot minute to figure out because Demi has me fuming over here lol.

Please for all things holy, check your triggers because this one is HEAVY and hits you right in the feelings and emotions!
When a book makes me cry within the first few chapters, I know it's going to be a good one. Now, with the heaviness this book brings out, I was able to make a very very personal connection with this book and it hit me straight through the heart and I instantly had to message Demi about it. This situation is hard and raw and real, and even though it's heavy, I absolutely love when I can make a personal connection to a book!
The characters are absolutely incredible and I loved all of them, well except one...but once you read, you'll understand!
BUUUUUT ma'am leaving me hanging on the edge like this, is NOT okay. I need book 2 like right this dang second! 🤣 I am not sure how well I am going to handle this wait, so be prepared for me nagging you lol!

Woah… what a debut! Demi has managed to throw a bunch of spiralling emotion in this novella. Love, Loss, pain and suffering.
After reading some of Dahlia’s painful past it gives you a sense of understanding of her mindset, though when you get the brief explanation of Crew and Vale’s it kinda left me making assumptions and questioning just how forbidden is this romance going to go.
I loved the multiple POV’s so you get each of their feelings and thoughts.
Demi has done a great job with the characters and settings and at the end of the book you are just left with so many questions.
This book does end of a cliffhanger, and I am so looking forward to reading the next instalment of the duet.

I really like how it came about at a party with how she sees the boys for the first time in years was different but that you didnt have to wait long for them to come back together. I enjoyed this, it was a quick read and had the spicy scenes too! I need to know what happens!

I can’t put this book down. This author had my emotions going all over the place and left me fuming wanting to throw my kindle at the end. It was so good I need book two. Before jumping into this book you need to check your trigger warnings and use caution when reading. The characters are amazing and there were a few parts that hit to close to home with me but overall this book was amazing !

Please I can’t stress this enough READ TW⚠️ for this book.
Where to start with this short novella… I’m still looking for words on this one cuz man, it was deep, dark, emotional rollercoaster. This book is short but it will make you cry the moment you start reading it, I’m not gonna seat here and lie to anyone. You will feel so deeply hurt for each character in the book, you would wanna hold them, hug them and cry with them. Demi really did a number on me with this book, it was raw and beautiful and sinful. The spice on the book is spot on, is dark but so so hot.
Our female character went through a very traumatic experience when she was younger and she still dealing with that the best she can, while trying to survive. The male characters are morally dark, hurt by their pass as well and they finally found their little lemon. After hiding for so long they are finally together. There is secrets that she doesn’t know, and that they don’t know and its all coming out to the light.
And that ending…… OMG Demi GIVE ME MORE, like yesterday honey. I can’t wait for more on this story, it was amazing.

Maybe if it was longer more depth could have been included. I still enjoyed it though. This does end in a cliffhanger, but I loved the storyline, and can’t wait to how it all plays out ‘cause I have theories, questions and need answers. So for starters definitely check your triggers on this one. This story will tear you to pieces and break your heart for the FMC Dahlia. She has been through so much. She is trying to deal the best way she can. Who is this stranger that caused her so much trauma? I need to know who this stranger is. I love Crew and Vale they are so loving to her and possessive in the hottest way possible. Crew gives me Diesel from den of vipers vibes and I love every second of it. This books has all the red flags and I ate them up. These men are not morally gray they pitch black and I’m completely okay with that. Who knew a novella could make you feel so much in so little pages. What an ending!! I going to need to know more like tomorrow please. Give me the rest!!! Demi did great work in this book and I can’t wait to read more.

This story follows Dahlia who lost contact with her 2 best friends that she grew up with, Crew and Vale, who moved away. Now they’re back, but they’re not the same guys they were back then, now they are older and more cruel.
Seeing her dancing with another guy made them furious, and what will they do about that?
But WOW that cliffhanger, Demi left me fuming, I saw it coming but omg. I am so excited to read the next book!! I absolutely loved the multiple povs between the characters and even though it is a Novella, you understand the backstories of each.
This was an amazing read, definitely recommend!! Demi knew what she was doing when she wrote this amazing story, can’t wait for the duet!! If you are looking for a short and spicy novella with a plot then this is perfect for your next read!!

Broken Secrets by Demi Wilde is a super fast paced dark novella. I would strongly suggest checking the trigger warnings on this one before reading, there are some really rough scenes. Dahlia, Crew and Vale meet when they were young (13,16 and 19), and they were all best friends. Until Crew and Vale up and moved away, Dahlia was heart broken and didn’t know why they left. The unthinkable happens to Dahlia during their time apart and to deal with the torment she hurts herself to purge the pain. Drew and Vale have had their own hardships and have been brought in to the “family business”. When they see Dahlia dancing with a guys hand in her pants at their house they loose control. The decided she’s there’s now. There’s a lot of questions in this book my biggest is who the hell is this unknown person?!?! The twists in this book had he binge this bad boy in one sitting! I can’t wait to find out what happens in Forbidden Secrets.

I absolutely loved this book and read it all in one sitting, but that cliffhanger left me wanting sooooo much more. This book had it all. Smut, secrets, dark aspects, touch her and , dirty talking, praise, breeding and more smut 😩🥵 I loved Vale and Crew and cannot wait for the next book to start learning all these hidden secrets that keep being talked about because I swear this book is gonna stay with me for a long time!!

The brothers are obsessed with Dahlia but the feelings are not one sided. The spice is 🔥 and the brothers are willing to do anything to keep Dahlia. It does end on a cliffhanger with a lot of missing information. I do like that the ending doesn’t end with a miscommunication on where Dahlia went. I am very interested in what comes next and having my many questions answered!!

Whoa!!! What a Roller coaster of emotions!! Many layers of deep and dark topics, but had me hooked from the beginning. This story has Dark Romance, Why choose, Age gap, morally grey men, secrets and plot twists, forbidden love. I am still questioning who the eff?? This cliffhanger had me so ready to throw my kindle. How can you leave me with so many questions??? 🤪Trust me I will be the first one standing in line for the next one!!!

I really enjoyed this novella, there are some pretty heavy triggers so make sure you read those first.
Little Lemon is my new favourite nickname in a book. Dahlia, Crew and Vale’s relationship is very well written and I loved their interactions with each other.
The spice in this book is hot 🥵.

Dahila, Crew, and Vale....childhood friends, teenage love that is turned upside down before it has a chance to become what could have been.
At a party they all run into each other, sorta.....(hehehe).
Someone gets dead, someone gets kidnapped, enter spice, and someone gets kidnapped again- finale is a cliff hanger with a note!

I honestly just want to hug Dahlia, her trauma resonates with me and I really hope to see some justice for her in the coming book.

I am warning you that you will need to check your trigger warnings before jumping in to this read. On a scale of pure white to pitch black it definitely fell to the darker grey area. If you’re still feeling brave after that warning here is my review.
Broken secrets was a story about heartbreak, secrets, and second chance romances. This novella was a quick read. It is short, spicy, and will leave you wanting more. I enjoyed getting to know Dahlia and her struggles. Mental health featured heavily in this book and I am so glad to see that Demi faced it head on and didn’t shy away from the ugly parts. This book ends on a cliffhanger and will leave you scratching your head and saying “What, who, what?”

I have never been a huge fan of novellas. I feel that there isn't enough time to answer all the questions that I have. Broken Secrets was just long enough to answer 95% of my questions, but that 5% is why I can't wait for book 2. Do I wish it was longer? Yes. Did I enjoy reading it? Yes. Do I absolutely think you should read it? If you can handle the triggers, then yes!

They always say "a picture paints a thousand words".... well on first observation of the cover art that will definitely give readers their first emotional tug at how this book is going to make you react.
Just to make it clear, it is NOT a cookery book although there definitely is the mention of desserts and possibly an egg over easy dish ( wink wink). I imagine anyone that has demonstrated interest just from the cover and then reading the synopsis has gathered that there will be the necessity to check the Author's trigger listing too, because there are a few scenarios that have the affect to cause mental anguish for readers. The scenes are written so well that you can feel you are right in the middle of it!
I do believe if you are a reading connoisseur of the dark romance genre then you have the best notion of how these stories venture through an emotional mine field taking you "out" at any moment and thus fighting your way back into the sheer dirt and grit of the story. I found it truly riveting from the very beginning and just kept reading with that addictive need to know and want more and yes I was rewarded but then the Author threw into the mix a mesmerising mysterious character that leaves you dreading just what direction this adventure is now heading towards. I have my own suspicions as to who this character could be, but have learnt that in the literary world Authors can and have done anything... happily ever afters are not a promised necessity but leaving your reading audience gasping for so much more... action, drama, despair, revenge, romance, spice and most of all closure is just another way for readers to fall hard and fast!
The real question to ask yourself, is, are you prepared to fall for a demon or a devil and see what is going to occur?

I imagine anyone that has demonstrated interest just from the cover and then reading the synopsis has gathered that there will be the necessity to check the Author's trigger listing too, because there are a few scenarios that have the affect to cause mental anguish for readers. The scenes are written so well that you can feel you are right in the middle of it!
I do believe if you are a reading connoisseur of the dark romance genre then you have the best notion of how these stories venture through an emotional mine field taking you "out" at any moment and thus fighting your way back into the sheer dirt and grit of the story. I found it truly riveting from the very beginning and just kept reading with that addictive need to know and want more and yes I was rewarded but then the Author threw into the mix a mesmerising mysterious character that leaves you dreading just what direction this adventure is now heading towards. I have my own suspicions as to who this character could be, but have learnt that in the literary world Authors can and have done anything... happily ever afters are not a promised necessity but leaving your reading audience gasping for so much more... action, drama, despair, revenge, romance, spice and most of all closure is just another way for readers to fall hard and fast!
The real question to ask yourself, is, are you prepared to fall for a demon or a devil and see what is going to occur?

Are you looking for a book that hits you hard straight from the beginning and has you in a chokehold until the end? You found it with this novella then. Because holy sh!t. There is no down time on this story. And that’s not a bad thing at all.
Dahlia had a traumatic experience she endured that has shaped her for the last six years. Causing her to take care of her demons in secret.
The two loves of her life, the older boys next door, left her years ago and she never heard from them again. Until now. Vale and Crew have found her and they’re never letting her go again.
This book is raw, shmexy, spicy, and in your face. I was here for all of it. There is an unexpected character and a cliffhanger. I have thoughts, but I NEED the next book like, yesterday!

Ugh, the dynamic between these 3 characters— I’m not sure who I enjoy more, Vale and Dahlia or Dahlia and Crew. Individually, after trading this book, I’d say Crew has a chokehold on me (literally!) There’s just something deeply romantic about a man saving themselves for one specific woman just so he could not only lose his virtue but also ruin the one he loves at the same time. Though he’s the most sensitive one of the brother duo, I have this inkling he’s the darkest and dirtiest— both of which I’m eager to discover as the next book unfolds.
𝗕𝗥𝗢𝗞𝗘𝗡 𝗦𝗘𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗦 is the first book in the duo novella. It’s a quick read, fast paced MFM college dark romance in multi pov. At times, I wished there were more in depth details of the storyline, however, the pacing of plot and scenarios flow greatly. There are many cliffhangers (spoiler: an unknown pov that had me gasping and pondering WHO IS THIS?!). I definitely can’t wait to see what happens in the next book and finally have answers and greater backstory to the disappearance of Dahlia’s lovers.
