The Enigma Within by V. de la Cruz is definitely the best thriller/horror book I have read in a long while. This book will give you chills almost from the time you first start reading, to the time you put it down, and I can guarantee you will be making sure your lights stay on while the covers are kept firmly over your head for the night. If Ms. de la Cruz is not already compared to Stephen King and Dean Koontz in the ways of her horror stories techniques, she soon will be.
