Too many of her loved ones have died, and she's done shedding tears. Sadly, she can't boil Dante's blood just yet. He has the resources to help her and her friend Zulu, as discovering Mother Earth's whereabouts is proving mo ...more

Since this book isn't out yet I won't be posting any spoilers (even though I freakin' want to.) I've decided that instead of writing a full on review, I'm going to let the gifs speak for me.
This is how I felt at the end of the last book.

How I felt reading Wildfire Gospel.

My overall final reaction:

Kenya Wright is an evil mastermind. This book is EVERYTHING I wanted it to be, and at the same time it was nothing I expected.
So go and read it...if not, I will get Lanore to burn you. ;)

This is the best of the series. I love the growth in characters and Oh Graham such a psycho! I love him!

So many twist and turns and starts out with tons of action. The only negative is now i'm waiting for the next book!

And now it is back to waiting for the next book. :-)

Love triangles make me want to pull my hair out. From the very beginning of this series, I have been completely and totally Team Zulu. He has always been so compelling. Powerful. Sexy. Enigmatic. And completely amazing with Lenore. Then there is MeShack, the man-whore who broke her heart; the guy that can’t keep it in his pants for five minutes. Yet, I saw the writing on the wall back in Fire Baptized. MeShack grew up with Lenore. They share years of common history and love. No matter what round ...more
It's almost 4am, and I am so thrilled that I had a chance to read this awesome book. With all of the Urban Fantasy books on the market, it's a rare feat to find an author who is not only passionate about her craft, but highly inventive as well.

The only thing that I hated about reading this book, is that I am going to have to wait until June to read the next installment.

If you have not had a chance to read Fire Baptized (Santeria Habitat, #1) by Kenya Wright & The Burning Bush (Santeria Habitat, #2) by Kenya Wright, then you are doing yourself a serious disservice, because overall, this Sista i

August 2013! I need to read The Burning Bush
What a difference a day makes ... who knew the day after the masquerade ball would bring about so many changes and scattering our intrepid hero troops in different directions. Santeria is in turns aflame, deserted and overcrowded in the aftermath of the abrupt ending of the ball. Also, I confess, this is the first book that had me gasping 'Oh! My! God! on page one.

Together, Lanore, Angel and Zulu surprisingly find themselves striking a deal with everybody's favorite arch enemy, Dante, and comin

I was hesitant to finish this book, I left it @ 50% for a while, since there was no sequel in sight and it looked like there was a lot more story to tell. Grr and I was right. Talk about leaving someone hanging'!
The characters in this world are awesome for the most part and the world is very interesting since it really isn't too much like other books in this genre. One of the best things is how it is labeled interracial, but that fact isn't rammed down the reader's throat. I honestly didn't thin

This series just gets better and better. I think this was the longest book in the series but it never felt like it dragged or needed to be shorten. Wildfire Gospel was filled with twists and turns and unexpected bumps in the road.

The Good: Usually around the third or fourth book most authors provide a filler book. Nothing really happens, just a lot of set up for the next couple of books in the series. Well that's not true for Wildfire Gospel. The characters are getting more complex with each bo

I was lucky enough to be an ARC reader for this fabulous book, and I can truly say that Kenya Wright is brilliant when it comes to creating a great story/plot. Lanore's life has never been easy, but you can definitely bet that every reader would love to be in her shoes whether to get a taste of the action in the bedroom or on the battlefield. This book took the reader on a roller-coaster ride with new characters and old favorites. I also liked the new POV that was added; it took the storytelling ...more
This was amazing! I am thoroughly pissed off at Zulu, she should not forgive him. I am so Team Meshack, after this stunt. And her surprise does not make me happy. How could you Kenya, How could you! I love Graham with is crazy self. You want to talk about laughing out loud. We need to eliminate Dante ASAP. I love this series, but if she doesn't end up with Meshack, I might not survive it. Where the hell is the next book!

AAAAHHHHH!!!!! Was what I screamed when I realized this was not the end of the series. A lot was revealed about the characters in this book and I was left grasping for straws as to what will happen next when the book suddenly ended. Please Kenya Wright put me out of my misery and write the next book already.

This is not my style of book but OMG I was hooked after the first book!!! The depth of the characters and the journeys they take held my attention for 4 days and I couldn’t do anything but read. I was very angry at the end of this one because there wasn’t another book for me to start. Can’t wait to see where this all goes!!!

Lanore is done. Zulu is done. They have lost enough. They have suffered enough. Too many people have died. Now people are going to burn.

Despite the rampaging warpath and Zulu’s insistence on doing things “his way” (which involves a lot of bodies and Lanore is done trying to stop him), politics still intrudes even as the corpses pile high. Dante and his vampires, while very much deserving of being burned, have some very tempting offers to make. If Lanore can resist burning him

Of course, she could

Goodness! That was intense. Like, locked in a vice, need a drink of water intense! The twists did not let up for this one and ish just got a little more real, not that it wasn't before! Can I just say that this author creates wonderful, dynamic characters that keep you glued to the story and pulling through to learn of their fates. The book itself is so dense with twists with turns and subplots without being too tangled or tied up at all. I really appreciate how the myste

I try to base my stars on the story and not the endings so I'm giving this one a 4 because overall, it's a good story. I normally don't read books in a series back to back. It had been a while since I read Fire Baptized so I decided to read The Burning Bush and one-clicked right away for this book.

Everything was going well. I love the world building and the characters (except Zulu) Kenya has created so this is what I did with my weekend since the kids are on a break from

I used to say that Kenya Wright was one of my favorite indie writers, now I have to just say she is one of my favorite writers period. I finally got this one and I am kicking myself for not getting it the first day it came out.

Wildfire Gospel was a total and complete emotional roller coaster. If I could pay Wright to only write I would forget homeschooling my kids and go back to work full-time so she could stay home and finish the next book in this series, I can't wait.

It's perfect! If you follow this serie you will understand it all. Her fire, her hair, her eyes, her favorite color, the sparks.

Impressions and opinion

I'm not going to talk about it in details because I don't post a whole bunch of spoillers.

All I can say is that Kenya's mind is astounding. I have no idea how she comes up with these ideas, much important how she keeps weaving the threads of the series in which everything makes p

The exchange between MeShack and Graham at the beginning of the book had me in stitches. It was hilarious...unfortunately familiar and yet inventive. I really enjoyed it. I also like the way Lanore is realistically handling her supernatural problems. Lol. However, it annoyed me to no end that they wouldn't just (view spoiler)! And as far as the love triangle goes... I'm totally torn.

Soooo is there going to be another part...

I love the whole paranormal feel of this book.. not much romance a lot of flirting and arousal but not much sex! So glad Lanore didn't have sex with the prims..yuck! Spoiler coming through*** I swear the whole book I was rooting for lanore and meshack he is just so much better for her and then the moment I think they can get a chance together boom she's pregnant with zulu's baby!!! I need to know if there's a part 4

I LOVED IT!! Now I am ready for the next installment. At first I was team Zulu all the way, hell now I don't know who team I am on! LOL! I have a love-hate for Lanore, she works my nerves when she thinks after. the fact. I hope Kenya Wright doesn't make us wait too long for the next book of the Habitat series, because I am needing to read what is next bad! LOL

Kenya Wright has done it again. This is the third book but I was on the edge of my seat. I was emotionally involved in this one. Plenty of twists and turns, ups and downs for Lanore, MeShack, and Zulu. A must read!
