Reasonable Doubt #1

Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1

Rate this book
My cock has an appetite.

A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar... (Although, that's a story for another day.)

As a high profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.

My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.

This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.

At least it was , until "Alyssa"...

She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.

But then she came into my firm for an interview—a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed...

★★★★★! Unreasonable Doubt (part 1). Jaded & enigmatic Andrew Hamilton’s rather UN-reasonable to reaction to discovering his new intern deceived him!

There are 3 parts to the Reasonable Doubt serial, which should be read in order:
Part 1: Reasonable Doubt
Part 2: Reasonable Doubt II
Part 3: Reasonable Doubt III
Part 3.1: Extended epilogue

Reasonable Doubt (part 1) is man-whore extraordinaire, attorney and law firm partner, Andrew Hamilton’s story. It follows him six years after gut-wrenching betrayal that forced him away from his previous life, details to be unfolding with story. He has settled into a comfortable life of practicing law and his free time spent on the various internet dating sites for his next one-night-stand.

“This is always the most annoying part, the part when the woman who previously agreed to “One dinner. One night. No repeats.” wants to establish some type of imaginary connection.”

For the past six months he has been offering legal advice to Alyssa, a young new lawyer in his city and, though they never met, they have formed a friendship of sorts. Though she doesn’t want to meet him and insists on being unattractive part of him still wants to hit it, just once…

“I’ve never fucked one of my friends before.”
“That’s because I’m your only one.”

Then upon sitting in at the final interviews, for the coveted intern position at his firm, he meets a young attractive pre-law student, Aubrey Everhart. And yet again he discovers he has been deceived….

Reasonable Doubt will follow Andrew in his somewhat UN-reasonable reaction to the unraveling of he is perfectly organized and carnal existence providing for off-the-charts sex and a chance of a glimpse of his infamous cock.

32 years/attorney/partner at Greenwood Bach & Hamilton/$$$$/dark brown hair/blue eyes.

Seven words to describe Andrew: Charismatic, jaded, flawed, commanding, enigmatic, vulnerable and larger-than-life.

“I immediately clicked on my profile and opened the “What I’m Looking For” box, making sure that it still read the same: “Casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing Less.”

 photo RDhexBbysb_zpsd1c039cb.gif

22 years/pre-law student/blond hair/blue eyes/ballerina.

Seven words to describe Aubrey Everhart: Smart, naïve, endearing, focused, lonely, impressionable and resilient.

Reasonable Doubt was the perfect read for me. Both Andrew and Aubrey might have been a little slow at catching on to the truth, but that’s how it needed to be. Story moved along at a fast pace only to come to a shocking mother-of-all cliffys ending. Thankfully part 2: Reasonable Doubt II should be out shortly! [wipes sweat!]

Excellent story-telling! Entertaining dialogue! Captivating plot! Steamy sex scenes! Swoon-worthy hero, Andrew Hamilton! Compelling heroine! 5 sexxxy stars!

“Is there super-glue on my floor? Is that why you’re still standing there?”

When the first five words of the blurb says this: "My cock has an appetite." my index finger gets a little excited.

Andrew has one set of rules; one dinner, one night, no repeats... and no lies. He is quickly making his way through the ladies of the internet spending a week ensuring they who they say they are. But one women he meets online, not on a dating site, seems to pull his attention. She's the only woman not after his cock, not after a relationship... just a little professional assistance. But when he sits down to interview the new intern, he slowly realizes that Aubrey, the beautiful intern that has his dick rock hard is his Alyssa.

So let me try to get my tongue back in my mouth here.... Holy fucking shit was this a hot little quick read! This was one of those 'don't think just click' moments and it did not disappoint. Set in a three part serial format, the first installment is short; but it gets you to a fairly good point before the mother of all cliffhangers knocks you on your ass. But have no fear, it appears that these will be released with about a two week timeline.

Now on to the shit that makes your panties wet. Andrew is an asshole. He's a man-whore jerk who likes to dirty talk. He just crossed the threshold into becoming a book boyfriend god with those four things checked off.

"The cherry he'd picked up was in his mouth, and he was pressing it on my lips - silently commanding me to open up and eat it. I stuck out my tongue to take it, but before sliding it to me, he whispered, "Don't chew... I want to see how capable you are of swallowing."

"I've been looking forward to fucking the woman who teased me every night for nearly six months," he whispered, sliding his fingers underneath my towel. "I wanted her to ride me." He trailed his hand up my thigh and rubbed his thumb against my clit. "On my cock and my mouth. And I wanted to teach her how to taste me..."

I don't know where Whitney Gracia Williams came from, but I am sure as shit glad she decided to write this erotica short series. There is a narrow window while writing in this format to really create something enjoyable. With such limited space for the story, the scenes and the characters it is more likely the case that something is left out, something that leaves the reader missing some key moment to bring the story together. Sure you can get sucked in with a blurb, you can keep the sex hot enough to cause the reader to squirm... but that is not rare. What WGW pulled off was giving you it all. This short read packed a punch and gave you everything that a novel three times its size could deliver.

I cannot wait to get my needy little hands on the next installment of this series.

=== Spoilers all over whatever comes below ===

What do I think? This was my first thought:

Andrew is a completely skeevy manwhore with hundreds of women on his track record. He hits on them online, fucks them once, then ditches them in such unsufferable manner, that they sure as hell won't be wanting more of the same. An example:
I glance at my watch. "Are you spending the night in this room or do I need to give you cab money to get home?"
"Was my question unclear?"
"Wow...Just,wow..." She shakes her head. "How much longer do you think you'll be able to keep doing this?"
"Keep doing what?"
"Chatting someone up for a week, fucking her, and moving on to the next. How much longer?"
"Until my dick stops working." I put on my jacket. "Do you need cab fare or are you staying? Check out is at noon."

This is on page 2 of this alleged erotic oeuvre and it left me with the above feelings. And alas, the protagonist of this story is not the thusly maltreated Walmart shop assistant, the protagonist unfortunately is him: the arsehole.

It doesn't get better. For some reason I'm expected to find things erotic which I actually consider to be major turn-offs. Such as banter between the skeevy bastard and his "lawyer" phone girlfriend which is at best juvenile, and neither funny, nor sexy in any way. Stuff like this:
"I'll be gentle at first," he whispered, "especially when I slide my cock into your mouth and pull on your hair, showing you exactly how I like it to be sucked."

Not only that I find BJs a chore and not something to look forward to, I consider a man who matter-of-factly assumes he can put his wiener into my mouth without permission, who then tries to instruct me by pulling my hair or constraining me, an arse. Instead of sucking my reaction might be a solid crunch. Of my teeth. And just so this is clear, the woman he thus addresses is vanilla.

As if the height of eroticism is the idea of sucking cock of a guy who's poked it into 200+ different vaginas, rectums and mouths...

Apparently Mr. "I'm So Sensitive" has had an unfortunate past experience with some woman who lied to him. Which now means that he expects every woman he chats up on the internet to never ever lie to him, or else he is mightily aggrieved. Okay, let's repeat, the dumb idiot expects women on the internet to be 100% honest about every single personal information. Like name, age, looks, address and so on. Yeah. Right.

So he has a phone buddy girlfriend for 6 months, who told him the wrong age, a wrong name and also lied about her professional status. When he finds out, because she now works in his firm, he takes it out on her as her boss. Yes, fucking professional and completely mature.

Not just that, he assaults and fingerrapes her, and OF FUCKING COURSE she is then shown to welcome this and be wet and hot for him! Yeah. Right. Hello rape culture, you are soooo wonderful! I didn't buy this as a rape!fic or to read sexual harassment. I wanted a light erotic read.

To make long things short, he keeps thinking with his gonads only, mistreats her, forcefully fucks her (a no was never an option), and in the end turns out to . With what this thing closes with a cliffhanger.

This was the singularly most unerotic book I had the misfortune reading this year. Someone suggested such stories are about "redemption of badasses", well, such manwhores are not redeemable in my book. Regardless of whatever happened before, or whatever they do afterwards. Unless they turn to working as missionaries in Zaire and caring for Ebola victims for the rest of their lives I really don't see any redeeming happening.

Oh, and can someone please tell me: what is this whole "fingers stuffed up vaginas" thing? I don't get it, it's not sexy, and I wouldn't want just anyone's unwashed paws unasked up my vagina.

The whole thing left me wishing for an axe, a chopping block and a dog whom to feed a set of balls. With sausage.

Yes, I'm angry alright.

My cock has an appetite.
That is the first line of the blurb. Once I saw that, I thought I have to read this book! I’m so glad I did! It was very much on the short side, but it was great! Thankfully, we don’t have to wait long for the next installment! Especially after that ending!
“One dinner. One night. No repeats.”

Andrew Hamilton has rules. He has these rules for a reason. He’s an attorney who is busy and not interested in a relationship. He meets women, most of the time online. He has dinner with them, then sexy with them and thats it. They know the score going in. On a different website, one for lawyers only, he does however develop an unlikely friendship over the phone with a 27 year old lawyer named ‘Alyssa’. He is intruged by her and wants to meet. I loved all their phone convos.
“Is Alyssa your real name?’

“Yes, but I’m sure Thoreau isn’t yours. Do you care to finally give it to me?”

“I’ll give it to you when you come to your fucking senses and let me see you.”

“You just won’t let that go, will you?” she laughed again. “What if the real reason I don’t want to meet you is because I’m ugly?”

“I have a good feeling you’re not.”

“But what if I was?”

“I’d fuck you with the lights off.”

“I prefer the lights on.”

“Then I’d make you wear a paper bag over your head.”

There is nothing Andrew hates more than liars. He might be a jerk, but he is honest. Always honest. When the truth about ‘Alyssa’ comes out, he isn’t happy. Not at all. It changes everything. The entire dynamic of their relationship.

Andrew... holy freaking hell that man was hot! A sexy dirty talker... those are my favorite! And Alyssa/Audrey. I really liked her. Her pov was fun. The ending of this book left my jaw on the floor. First of all, I wasn’t ready for it to be over. Second, I was in shock of how it ended.

This was a super sexy novella. Steamy, funny and entertaining, it was the perfect combo.

Drool (v.):
Drop saliva uncontrollably from the mouth.
(Informal) Make an excessive and obvious show of pleasure or desire.
“So, you believe in reasonable doubt?”

Right now, I believe in Andrew Hamilton and in cold showers. Multiple cold showers.

Before Katerina met Andrew Hamilton
I admit, I was hesitant to read Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1. I was pretty sure it would be too sexually graphic for my taste, plus how can you possibly connect with characters in less than 100 pages? Or, that was what naive little Katerina thought. Thankfully, Τατιάνα Τζινιώλη brainwashed me and let's be honest, how can you say no to an author you love? The fact that Andrew is a lawyer didn't hurt either. It will hurt when I won't find him and his piercing blue eyes in my future job interviews, but that's a different story.

When Katerina met Andrew Hamilton
The skies opened. Her heart beat fast. Her breath caught. Her body was flushed from head to toes. The nagging thoughts that she wouldn't connect with the characters? Poof, all gone! Whitney Gracia Williams managed to establish a strong connection between Andrew and Aubrey in only a few pages, and the scorching tension could practically make you sweat! Aubrey was a feisty heroine who tried to balance what she wanted and what her family wanted, and I came to like her a lot. But this book's star is (guess who?) Andrew.fucking.Hamilton.He is an asshole, a sexy asshole you want to punch and lick at the same time. He's not a good person, he is really, really dirty-mouthed and his past is covered with mystery. Andrew and Aubrey? Holy hawt chemistry, Batman! My cheeks are still ablaze! Add some sassiness and witty banters to the mix and voila, you devour the book like a man starving!
“Why do you want to be a lawyer, Miss Everhart?”
“I enjoy screwing people over. I figure I might as well get paid for it.”

After Katerina (temporarily) bid farewell to Andrew Hamilton

The way Reasonable Doubt: Volume 1 ended? Insane. It gives a whole new definition to the word cliffhanger. If I can't focus on studying because of Andrew and Aubrey's story, you will pass the exams in my place Whitney Gracia Williams! And judging by your knowledge on all things legal, I demand high grades!

This book was outstanding! I can't wait for the next installment! For such a short read, the connection to the characters and the progression of the story was incredibly natural and didn't seem rushed at all, unlike most. This is the first book I've read by this author and I will definitely be reading more of her work. The story is well-written and absolutely hilarious. The author was able to create an angsty, steamy, sexy story that was entertaining and believable, in a way that most full-length novels are not. It ends with a huge cliffhanger, so I'm anxiously awaiting the next installment in this series. I'm an addict for sure.

All I can say is read it. You won't be sorry!

"I can't just talk to you anymore. I need to feel you ..."

A standing ovation please for the talented, Whitney Gracia Williams. That is exactly how a novella series should be done. 'Reasonable Doubt' is without question a phenomenal start to this ongoing series and I'm left with a desperate need for the next part to be released. This is one of those stories that had me hooked from the prologue and I can't wait to see what else this author has got planned. Admitedly I can't help but fall for a dirty talking character and like all my fellow addicts I've now joined that long line of readers who fell for the charms of Mr Andrew Hamilton. He was hot and sexy and sweet and flirty and most of all he had his arsehole persona working a charm throughout the 78 pages of this novella. Every twat needs a beauty and joyfully I can report that the storyline god's have been smiling down on Miss Williams because this author delivered a perfect heroine to complete a duo that I have fallen for. Everything about this plot was interesting and engaging and won me over, it was deliciously sexy, cleverly comical and perfectly written.

If like me you can't resist an original story line with sexier-than-you-could-imagine characters having even sexier-than-I-can-describe 'naughty nookie' then this needs to hit your 'read me now' radar. I was left with a book addict hangover and a desperation for more from this author. There's not much more left to say other than this book far surpassed my expectations and I couldn't have been happier that I gave into the hype. Those who haven't had the pleasure of 'meeting' Mr Hamilton are in for a dirty talking treat. Go grab it readers, enjoy ... Kisses.

Ladies, invest in lots of spare panties, because you're about to meet the man that will melt them right off you. May I introduce Mr. Andrew Hamilton?

Now allow me to introduce you to Andrew's hungry cock

Whoa there, tiger! No need to get feisty. I'm just telling the public something you clearly make no bones about. If I recall you also happened to have a type...

Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar

Shit. Two out of three ain't bad though, right?

Now of course anyone as hot as you isn't into anything as silly as commitment right? What is that one rule you have?
One dinner. One night. No repeats.

Well OK then. I'm sure you're hiding something painful and broody in your past to cause you to be this way?

*Awkward silence*

Alright then. Guess you won't be sharing that today. That's cool. Just

But what would you tell all those scorned women. You know, the ones that may tell you that this may catch up with you one day. What was it one of your conquests recently told you? Karma is on hell of a bitch.

I know. I fucker her two weeks ago...

And yet I find myself strangely turned on.
I'd built the last six years of my life detaching myself from any chance of having feelings for someone else, refusing to build any friendships...

But didn't you make a friend...your only friend if I recall correctly. The one you met in the lawyer chat room but never met. What was her name? Alyssa? Was that it?

Yes I got all that, thank you. But you also find yourself wishing you were getting that pussy from Alyssa, don't you?

Well then! No need to get bitchy! I can see you're a little touchy on this subject since she refuses to meet you or tell you her real name.

But then you DO meet someone. That new college intern...the one that happens to be EXACTLY your type. You just can't seem to stay away from her, can you? What's that relationship like? First you fight, and then all of a sudden there's some angry fuckery?

Yes, yes, I get it.

But she's also keeping something from you, isn't she?

Right. You have that thing against someone being a fucking liar.

Oh but you're keeping something even bigger from here, aren't you? And what do you do? LEAVE US WITH A FUCKING CLIFFHANGER IS WHAT!!! GAH!!

Now I'll just be slowly dying inside waiting for book 2 to see how redeemable your assholy-ness really is.

And I thank you

Reasonable Doubt is a short novella that needs to be devoured and adored. It’s about a girl called Alyssa and a high profile lawyer who has a penchant for blonde curvy women. He meets them anonymously online, chats and then... Dinner, sex and no repeat.

The main characters are fabulous!

Andrew Hamilton is, "...as sexy as fuck.” Enigmatic, charismatic, and divine, you’ll want to eat him up and rescue him all in one go. He needs control. He needs truth. He needs only one thing from the women he encounters.

Alyssa is sassy, she has an adorable sarcastic sense of humour and irony to her personality; she's so very easy to like and just the type of girl I’d want to be friends with. She has a sensible career path and a dream.

This story begins on a high, I was mesmerized by Andrew’s voice and storytelling. Ms Williams presents us with characters who have depth and a story you NEED to hear. She brings Andrew and 'Alyssa' together in a way that's captivating and exciting. She creates a recipe for HOTNESS and I felt the heat intensely.

By the end of this tasty novella, I was hooked, completely sucked into their world and wanted more!! So. Much. More!

There's still so much to discover about the man that is Andrew Hamilton.

I devoured Reasonable Doubt without reading the blurb or many reviews, and I'm so glad, because I feel even the synopsis gives a little too much away. Just trust that it's tasty and delicious and if you love a good, sexy romance, between a HOT lawyer and a twenty something girl with sass, then you will adore this book!

♥ I need book 2.... Now!! Please?!

The ending? Gah....
I feel like I'm at the start of a very special journey. And I want EVERYONE to share it with me.

♥ BR with lots of lovelies

This was amazing!I absolutely loved it!

This is the way Andrew acts around women..he's a manwhore! He's a lawyer who doesn't have time for relationships..so he meets women in an online dating site, also he is member on a lawyer site which he meets Alyssa and instantly they become friends and chat everyday for 6 mounths..He insists to meet her ..but she doesn't want to meet him because she doesn't want to change the friendly relatioship, which they have..
Alyssa asks Andrew to help her for an interview...
In the interview she meets Andrew but she doesn't know who he is...because he hasn't told her his real name...
Alyssa lied to him..
Andrew lied to her...
Who is the biggest liar?

Once their paths collide and the truth reveals things will change...
What will happen???

I will not say anymore because this is a short read and it's better to read it and enjoyed!!

I liked both characters from the beginning and I liked their chemistry! This was really surprised if you considered that this is a short book!Even thought at the begining it was from the phone or with texts!Andrew is so hot and cocky, I loved his dirty mouth :))) Alyssa is smart and she know what she wants from her life!!So likeable characters!!They will keep your interest until the end!!

The ending OMG!!!
I didn't expected something like that!

Brilliant!A steamy and hot read!!I can't wait for the next book!!Highly recommend!!

If a friend of mine tells me there's a dirty talker in the book, what do I do? That's right, I one-click right away. So I did. And let me just tell you, this book was uber-hot.
A successful lawyer, Andrew Hamilton doesn't waste his time on relationships, he finds women online and sleeps with them. He has simple rules: One dinner. One night. No repeats. This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less. And he hates liars. While searching for one of his conquests he accidently meets Alyssa and somehow they become virtual friends. They constantly chat, talk on the phone, exhchange messages and emails but they never meet in person. Although this is only friendship, there's always this sexy banter between them. After six months Andrew starts pressing on Alyssa to see each other in reality but she refuses to go there, and she has good reasons to deny since Andrew doesn't tolerate liars. She is supposed to be a lawyer, she is not supposed to be his type, she is supposed to be unattractive. Only, Alyssa is not those things. And when Andrew finds out the truth he is confused and royally pissed (and yes thanks to it we have some angry sex in here). He tries to cut Alyssa off but at the same time can't stop thinking about her and starts to doubt his "one time" rules.

I loved the writing and the characters. Andrew is intelligent, funny and very, very alpha male. While Alyssa being young and unexperienced, when things get messy, she knows how to stand her ground. Needless to say they are crazy hot together.
All said, if you want some sizzling, scorching, super sexy read, go and grab this one, you won't regret. Let me just give you few examples.

"And your lips?"
You want to know how thin or thick they are?"
"I want to know how they'd look wrapped around my cock."

"I need to be buried deep inside of you, feeling your pussy throb around my cock as you scream my name."

"I'm tired of imagining how wet your pussy can get, how loudly you'll scream when I suck your tits as you ride me...How hard I'll pull your hair when I bend you over my desk and fuck you until you can't breathe...Tired."

This book is a short one, it's part one in a three part erotic romance serial. I must say I've become a fan of these kind of serials recently. I know some of the readers don't like to wait for another installments but hell, if the next ones will be as good as this one was, I don't mind waiting.

4.5 - I need MORE!! -Stars!

Andrew (aka Thoreau) is a lawyer with a commitment problem. He likes to screw them and then leave them.

 photo photo_zpse34d45f1.jpg

Alyssa is the only girl who Andrew considers his friend. She is a spunky lawyer type and a ballet dancer.

The sad part about Alyssa being his only friend is he's never even met her in person.

They met on a website called Lawyer Chat for lawyers. Its a social network only for lawyers and is pretty secretive. It conceals peoples identities so they can discuss things.

 photo Shh_zpsaccd5dc9.gif

Alyssa needed help with a brief and Andrew wound up helping her. They developed a friendship and talk and text often. Andrew has wanted to move one step further but Alyssa refuses to meet him in person. They have had *ahem* some arousing conversations.

 photo 6565_original_zps1e98db7f.gif

"I need to be buried deep inside of you, feeling your pussy throb around my cock as you scream my name- my real name."

The reason why is because Alyssa has a secret and doesn't want Andrew to find out so she's been lying.

 photo tumblr_mpydow4c9o1s19lcko1_500_zps979db011.gif

“If the truth would damage anything or hurt someone unnecessarily, then I believe I have a right to withhold it.”

So what do you think is gonna happen when Andrew finds out Alyssa has been lying....And will that be before or after they have sexy times????? :)

"Once someone lies to me they're dead to me forever."

I will say the cliffhanger is KILLING ME!!! I wasn't expecting that at ALL! I hope book 2 won't be too long until it comes out!

Creating the most Cock-Sure, Arrogant, Snarky, Filthy Talking MC ever.

Charge 3
Creating Sassy heroine Alyssa - Ms Aubrey Everhart - loved her. These two left me in snark heaven they were so funny.

Charge 4
Causing risk of personal safety to readers by writing the most Cockiest & funniest statements I have EVER read.
Possibly causing chocking fit's from laughing so hard!

Running the risk of women everywhere having heart palpitations, sudden swooning, hot flushes, and multiple orgasms!!

I, Lisa (complainant) read this book on the recommendation of Vicky Hammersley (aka Mad Mildred to me) as she gave it 5 stars and Mad Mildred very very rarely gives 5 stars so I knew I was onto a winner.

Then I saw the blurb.......

My cock has an appetite.

A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar

*******Describes Lisa perfectly********

As a high profile lawyer, I don't have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.

My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.

This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.

I was like.... Whooooooaaaaa Nelly stop right there....I HAVE TO READ THIS!!

I, the complainant testify that Andrew Hamilton aka Thoreau is the sexiest, filthiest talking, funniest asshole you'll ever meet! He will cause your sexomiter to sky rocket through the roof!!

Complainant having hot flush....

and left daydreaming, smirking just thinking about the SEXY ASSHOLE

On all charges, I find the accused...... Ms Whitney Williams - GUILTY AS CHARGED for writing a highly entertaining, additive read....causing mass hysteria amongst her female fan's for leaving them hanging awaiting the next instalment.

First of all, HUGE thanks to Tony for this awesome rec!

Second, this is my first time reading WGW's work but it certainly won't be the last! I loved everything about this novella - the dialogue was witty and sexy! The storyline, even though maybe a bit predictable was great and nicely done! I am hooked! Need book 2 ASAP!

I will try and do a full review later when I am not on my iPad but bottom line is, this is what I call a 'great bang for your buck' (literally!) type book!

Meet Andrew Hamilton.
My new favorite bastard.
Well equipped.
With a talented tongue which he really likes to use.
He is full of sh!t and lies.

Meet Aubrey Everhart.

Andrew’s ex best friend and his new obsession.

Favorite Quotes:

-“Don’t chew…I want to see how capable you are of swallowing.”

“Why not?”
“Because I’ll fuck you again if you do.”

4 Hot Stars!!

Andrew is a high profile lawyer and a playboy. His rules are simple: he meets women online, one dinner, one night and never repeats.
He doesn’t want relationships and don’t tolerate lies. There’s a girl he meets online on a lawyers chat and they start to have some sort of friendship and became close… except that Alyssa’s profile is fake.
When Aubrey (the real girl behind that profile) goes to an interview in his firm as a college intern and Andrew finds out the truth… well, he’s not a happy cat.
For the first time he breaks his no-lying rules with Aubrey, only for her to find out that he doesn’t quite do what he preaches.

Let me tell you one thing, even pretty short, this book is raw, addictive, sexy, full of dirty mouth and hot, oh-so-hot.

And then it comes the end! OH THE END!! Luckily the books are being published with a short span of time between them, or else I would be going crazy. I really need the next book!!

⭐ 3 stars ⭐

This was a decent read. I wasn't expecting anything from this book, so at least I laughed and enjoyed it more than I expected😂

There is no big plot and the author doesn't add any unnecessary drama (imo) as it is a short story. If you want to read something quick and fast paced, this book is for you.

↳ Brief summary📍

For six months Andrew (H) and Aubrey (h) have been friends through an app. Andrew is a one-night stand guy and he doesn't sleep with the same girl twice. Aubrey is a ballet lover who is currently interning at Andrew's law firm, and that's when one of them discovers that the other has been upholding a charade.

↳ My thoughts✨

I wasn't a fan of the H, he was an asshole and I felt like he was trying so hard to be the typical "bad boy who doesn't have romantic relationships and doesn't care about anyone but him" like seriously, I was laughing so hard at his lack of personality😂
And then Aubrey...man idk, I think she was okay, I guess(?
Maybe I'll connect with them more in the next installments.

Also I don't know why it is divided into 3 parts, because I think a single book would have been better🤷🏼‍♀️
But anyway, I'll keep reading the next ones haha.

”Casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing Less.”

I didn’t really care for this story.
The writing was iffy and confusing.
I was flat out bored page after page...

Haha thanks Rihanna.

”Once someone lies to me they’re dead to me forever.”

Come on Andrew Hamilton, you’ll get over it!

Andrew and Alyssa’s story so far was funny, steamy and I’m sure excited to see where Whitney Gracia Williams takes them next. It does indeed end with a cliffhanger and I’m hoping the next book magically appears published today!!

Does this make you moist?

Then so will this series

Updated review:
So,I was going to write a moderately better review but my friends think this is fine as is...so be it :-)

Okay quick rundown .....

Andrew is a dirty mouth, no strings attached , fuck you every which way til including Sunday, Internet dater by night and arrogant Lawyer by day, whom HATES liars ---> um,I think he chose the wrong profession.... but that's here nor there.

He begins a Internet chat w/ Alyssa whom refuses to meet him dumbass, yet the forces of nature (or author pen) overrule her objection and they meet anyway ---> SHOCKER! . And that's about it. Any questions?.... Then I'm packing this review up.

..... MWAH!

4.5 STARS!!

Okay...THAT WAS HOT! Don't even ask me why these jilted assholes interest me, I don't know! Probably nothing to be proud of anyway!
But this was a spicy and hot little novella that proves great things come in small packages! The first in a series of three, RD was a fast paced and scorching read. Andrew is all about the one-nighters. His MO: Wine em' and dine them.
Screw em' and leave em'.

It's working so far and for reasons we don't quite know yet, Andrew is escaping from a horrible past, possibly a horrible love gone bad. He doesn't tolerate relationships and will NEVER, EVER tolerate a liar. So quick, no work one night stints do him just fine. He's also been speaking to a woman, Alyssa, on a lawyers forum meant to connect people of that profession. She describes herself as unattractive but he wants her. Badly. Though he's never met her...yet.

Until a new intern is hired at his law firm and everything is blown out the window! Talk about ruining the best laid plans!
This was so good! I loved every short page of it and can't wait for more!!!

REASONABLE DOUBT: VOLUME 1 was quick and very entertaining for 78 pages. It hooks the reader right from the start.

Andrew has rules about the women he spends time with:

Until one particular lady, Aubrey, piques his interest and makes him reconsider his rules. Unfortunately for Andrew she has her own agenda when it comes to him.

"I had no idea what the f**k just happened, and only part of me liked it. The other half loved it." Yes, Andrew, you summed up the book for me.

5 I heart Andrew Stars

WHERE DO I BEGIN?!!! Oh gah, what a read

I’m not a fan of books broken into parts. I waited for this series to be completed and it was well worth the wait.

Whitney G writes witty and sexy books. I devour them and always want more.

Andrew is partner at a law firm. He uses on-line dating to find no strings attached relationships. He doesn’t have any friends, except for one. Alyssa is a girl he met on-line. They kept an internet relationship for six months, but Andrew wants to meet her. Alyssa is hesitant.

I didn’t know anything going into this book. I just knew there was a picture of a girl that was a ballerina and already that perked my interest.

Sexy Andrew, what can I say, I love the name. Is it the same name as my husband? Maybe, but regardless, Whitney G. always writes dominate Heroes. Andrew is successful, powerful and knows what he wants and he wants Alyssa. I love the way he talks the way he presents himself, everything!

Adorable Aubrey. She’s a young something trying to double major in pre-law and ballet. She wants to be a ballerina, but her parents want her to be a lawyer. I really liked this. Her character is unique, in the sense she’s soft with a harsh exterior. She doesn’t want to mess up the relationship she has with Andrew so she never intends to meet him, but fate has other plans.

Book 1 is short, but it’s jam packed with stuff. There’s awesome banter between Aubrey and Andrew, sexy steamy scenes that is off the charts and just when I think the story can only go one way, it changes direction.

I think what I liked so much about this part of the series is that it wasn’t typical. At one point I figured how it would play out, but didn’t and I loved it! It’s a fast, fun and easy read. The ending will leave you speechless and wanting more.

Short and Steamy.
That is how I would sum up this novella.

"Casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less." That's what our Andrew is interested in, and that's exactly what he's looking for at online dating sites. He is a lawyer who hates liars above everything. He is a man with only one friend Alyssa whom he has never seen face to face. But one interview at his place of work will change everything...
"What do you look like?"
"I look like a man who wants to f*ck you."

Brazen, confident, smart. I really enjoyed reading about Andrew, about his dirty mouth and about the way he was "pinning" for Alyssa.
"I don't f*ck virgins. But considering the fact that you and I have never f*cked, you might as well be one."

However, this novella didn't satisfy my cravings. Guess I'm not "serial" kind of reader. I wished there was more depth into the characters, more plot, more everything. I know there is more to come, and I plan on reading next instalment because of that killer cliffhanger, but I would prefer to read it all at once as a standalone full lenght novel. Plus there was this very visible plothole that bothered me a lot but since it is spoilery, I suggest not to read this spoiler if you haven't read book yet - .

If short romance serial is your thing, go for it. I'm sure you'll find this novella very enjoayble.

***5 Thoreau Stars***

OMG..... Seriously I need BOOK 2 STAT!!!! How can you not love this novella... Hot sexy lawyer..Check.. Dirty talks..Check... Hot Sex...Check... Lies after Lies,...Check and a shocker for an ending..BIG FAT CHECK!!! Ummm...Ms. Whitney G., please don't make us wait too long for Book 2.. I need more Andrew and Aubrey!!!!!

reasonable doubt

Andrew Hamilton is 32 years and a high profile lawyer. He is smart, sexy, and one hell of a dirty talker. He only has three simple rules to abide by when it comes to women:
One Dinner, One Night. No Repeats.
Also, another big NO NO NO for Andrew is that he hates LIARS. For him, once you lie...its sayonara! Simple as that!

Andrew doesn't have many friends and the only one friend he considers is his Alyssa, who happens to be a 27 year old lawyer who has red hair and green eyes that he met on LawChat. For the past six months, they have been conversing over emails, text messages and on the phone. They have developed this flirtatious friendship. Alyssa would ask Andrew for legal advice on cases that she is working on. Through this ongoing friendship, Andrew makes it clear that he wants to meet her but Alyssa always avoids it.

When Andrew and his partners are interviewing for new interns for the firm, a beautiful 22 year old comes walking into the board room. Aubrey is a junior at Duke University and interviewing for an internship. As they are conducting the interview, Andrew notices that answers Aubrey were giving were the same questions "Alyssa" was asking him. Putting two and two together, Andrew discovers his Alyssa is Aubrey. Lying is the number one thing Andrew despises. When Andrew finally clues Aubrey that he is aware of her lies, let the office madness and shenanigans begin.

Reasonable Doubt is just WOW!! This quick steamy novella has me imploring for more...I need to know what happens next. This is my first read of Ms. Whitney Gracia Williams and I will definitely be checking out of her other books. The writing was exceptional. Dialogues were funny, witty, sexy and entertaining. And I adore the characters. Andrew was just oozing with sexiness and Aubrey/Alyssa was lovable. Holy hell...this short novella by Ms. Whitney has me begging for more. That ending....ugh!! I need you to hurry up, finish writing book 2 and hit publish!
