Someone has been stalking twins, Carver and Casper. While Casper has decided to hide behind his new protector, Carver plans to fight.
After weeks of cryptic notes and weird gifts, Carver has had enough. He’s not one to live in fear. Plus, nothing about the situation has felt threatening to him. The entire stalking thing is more of an annoyance. While his twin has chosen to accept a friend’s help for protection, Carver has his own means of staying safe. He’s crazy. Not much trumps pure insanity. It doesn’t take long for him to make the predator his prey. But sometimes things aren’t what they seem, especially when it comes to matters of the heart, and what Carver expects to be a horror for Halloween might just be a treat in disguise.
Treat is part two of the Leather Bait Twins' duology. It’s a contemporary Halloween-themed spicy romance meant to heat up your day.

So I didn’t like this one as much as the first one. Where with the first one I loved both the MCs but this one I loved Ever while thinking Carver was meh. Idk what it was about him.
Anyway I liked how Ever became so obsessed with Carver the first time they hooked up that he started stalking him. But he got him mixed up with Carvers twin and started stalking the wrong twin lol.
This was supposed to be the conclusion of the whole stalker problem they had but it left a lot to be desired. It makes more sense if you read other books where certain characters were introduced and even though I read those books this author releases one every month so there’s no way I can remember that far back.
NO CHEATING NO OM DRAMA NO THIRD ACT BREAK UP NO VIRGINS (carver is kind of a manwhore) THIRD PERSON DUAL POV TALK OF SEX TRAFFICKING HEA married

I loved this dark story as we look at the stalking story from Carter's point of view. I loved that two psycho people work so well together. There was discussions about their thoughts and feelings as well as their childhood. I loved the way that the story ended. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content.
I read it, loved it and now it is over. I really do not like how fast I can read a book.. it's like you wait with anticipation for the book to be released and then you vow to read it slowly but the first page and there goes that dream. Anyway this book was totally worth the read.
This runs along the same timeline as Caspers book. Carver and Ever met a while ago and Ever can’t forget him but he gets Carver and Casper mixed up and Carver presumes Ever is Caspers stalker . Quick read I enjoyed the duet and can’t wait to read more of Charity’s books.
I was a bit worried to read this after the little snippet we see in book one of Carver but there was no need to be. Carver wasn't at all what I thought he would be like and the book was soooo much better than I expected .
