I have read the whole series to my boys. We really had fun reading them together. Of course they are kid books so it's not a book I would read on my own; but they are quick reads and it was fun to hear my boys try to guess "who done it"!

My oldest son loved this whole series. Now it's time to pass it on to my youngest who is 7.

Same level as Magic Tree House, but not as interesting to the preschool crowd. K-2/3 seem to really like and start reading independently.
