Interesting characters and lots of excitement plus an interesting setting made this a fun read. It built in intensity until there was a powder keg waiting to go off. But man were those tourists stupid! Of course their poor decisions made for a great story so…

Too bizarre
I left this book at chapter 47....just could not invest anymore time in it. Fiction is fiction but needs to at least be plausible.....and plausibility is really scarce here. People this stupid and this irresponsible can't even be justified in fiction. I was looking forward to an enjoyable series....disappointed. plot way too tedious.

An SB. Florida Keys Mystery/Drugs/Cartel/Coast Guard/Definitely Dangerous
SB. has. penned the second Key West novel (MTAB - 2) which includes a nice by a few fishermen that puts their lives and the lives of many in Key West in danger. The fishermen discovery discover a package floating in the water off the coast of Key West. Then their mistakes begin. Then they make many more. This is an excellent read for the genre.....DEHS

Audiobook review- very good narrator, easy listening with a pleasant voice.
Story review: The story was entertaining, lots of action and fast pace. Although many people made stupid decisions which caused me to yell at them, it made for an enjoyable book. I have been to the Florida Keys and Marathon so I liked the setting and could relate to the descriptions. Beware - There were some gory scenes.

A Great Book to Read
Went on a cruise to Key West a few years ago and liked it. When I saw where this story was taking place I had to read it. I’m happy I did because I really liked it. If you like reading about adventure and action along with drug smugglers you’ll enjoy this book.

This book starts kind of slow and the plot drags and I almost put it down but glad I kept on reading. The last half of the book much more captivating and a page turner. Living in FL, this book has some special interest because the location is in places that I am familiar with and that adds to the interest.

Mac Travis and Tru get caught up in a drug smuggling case which included a shipment of plutonium for a Terrorist plot which had everyone scrambling to avoid the smugglers and the terrorists. Another good adventure in Florida.

Great series!
Having lived in FL for most of my life, I love reading books set in FL, and this series does an amazing job of accurately describing the area.
I’ve read Books 1 & 2 so far and they are both page turners!

Druggies and Terrorists
Exciting page turner with unexpected twists and turns. It eould have rated five stars bit for the inexplicable door kicking in incident that seemed designed to just add a bit of unnecessary drama to the story. However, worth the read

Another good adventure with Mac, Mel and Tru.
The descriptions of the geography of the Keys are so good I could image myself being there. Our erstwhile team get into a whole lot of trouble yet again and get out of it by no means unscathed. Well worth a read.

really enjoying this series
I'm amazed that this author can write so many fantastic novels, I hope that he never stops writing. His books are some of the best Entertainment I have read and worth the time to read them. Thank you for a very fun entertaining read.

This has some good details of the area the book focused on and quite a bit of local color. If you enjoy the beach scene diving or boating then you will enjoy this.

A backslide from the previous book. Way too many people making stupid decisions. The entire story is set up by a couple of cokeheads making a very poor decision. Imagine that.
