I read Stocum's first book 'Dawning' months ago and decided to give this one a try after it came out. I have to give credit to the author: I can see a lot of growth in her work. Her writing has improved (although it was good) from the previous book.

This is the second book by this author that I have had the pleasure of reading. Once more, there is a lot to love in her work.
If you are looking for an historical adventure with a healthy dose of romance, this is a good place to start.

I realy enjoyed this book, so much so that I devoured it in one day. Romance, action, and a historical setting are a great combination. The relationships problems and fears are also easy to relate to.
Moonstone is the second Scottish historical romance that I have recently read by author Olivia Stocum. Set just a few years later than her previous book "Dawning" this one begins in 1607 and continues to revolve around some of the characters that I fell in love with.
